“Home Depot is always a place of nostalgia for me, taking me back to my childhood when I'd take trips with my dad to pick up supplies for home renovation projects and with my mom for gardening projects. This location on imperial hwy has been here for over 15 years (based on how long I've been going) and it has always been consistent. The aisles are always well kept, there are usually plenty of employees that you can flag down for help, and their garden options are always so plentiful. They also always have someone at self checkout to assist if needed and they're always so pleasant which is a nice way to exit the store”

“We had a retractable screen installed for our Dutch door and had a wonderful experience with Classic Improvement Products. Everyone we interacted with was so pleasant and helpful. “I discovered this place not long ago and it became the place to go to first when I have a remodeling project coming up or when a tenant moves out. Everyone working there is very friendly with a great customer service attitude, Jesse in particular, he always goes out of his way to help, very professional and knowledgeable especially when it comes to building material, appliances and construction in general. Inventory changes all the time so you need to make frequent visits that's why I always stop by when I am in the area to see what new items came in. This place is fantastic!!!”

My recent visit to The Home Depot on Katella Ave in Orange, CA, was mostly great, although it had one notable low point. Let's break it down, shall we?My mission for the day was simple - just a couple of boxes and some tape for an upcoming move. Of course, as with any trip to Home Depot, I found myself wandering around the store; you never know when inspiration might strike for a new DIY project, right?While navigating the store, I had the pleasure of meeting Anna in the kitchen area, who kindly pointed me in the right direction when I was looking for the restroom. Staff like Anna are what make shopping experiences truly enjoyable - it's not just about buying products, but the interaction and the community feel that really matter.Now, the one unfortunate aspect of my visit was the state of the bathroom. It was, to put it mildly, not up to par. I had to walk right back out, which wasn't a pleasant surprise.To sum it all up, The Home Depot on Katella Ave is a great place to shop for all your DIY and home improvement needs. It's brimming with potential project ideas and great staff like Anna. However, the cleanliness of the restroom could definitely use some attention. For this reason, I'm giving this Home Depot location a solid 4 stars - a little polishing and it could easily reach that 5-star standard. Keep up the great work, and let's clean up those bathrooms! However, you find out how good a company is when you have issues. That said, they resolved it in a quick professional manner to my complete satisfaction.”

“We did a full home renovation a little over a year ago, but I accidentally forgot about this place and decided to do a review now since we bought several items here and they have mostly stood up to the test of time. We bought 2 large LED mirrors for our Master Bathroom which have actually been fantastic. We also bought 2 other LED mirrors from Costco for our other bathrooms, and I'll have to say that the ones we bought here are much, much better and they were around the same price as Costco. You can definitely see the difference in quality not only in the lighting, but also in the mirror quality as the mirror we bought here has a much more clear reflection. I always thought a mirror is a mirror, but that is absolutely not true and it's clear when you have two different brands to compare them to each other, you can definitely see how one might have a better reflection than another. We also bought a freestanding bath tub which has so far been excellent. No issues so far and it also feels much bigger when you actually take a bath in it, then when when we saw it in the showroom. This also was probably around $200-300 cheaper than if we bought a similarly sized one at Home Depot or Lowes. With our freestanding bath tub, we also bought a freestanding bathtub faucet in nickel. Again, so far it's worked great and we have no complaints. This also was much cheaper than buying a more popular name brand such as Delta or Kohler. I would think it was more than half the price of the name brands. This was probably our best deal at Luxor. Finally, we bought 2 different brands of one-piece elongated toilets. This was probably our biggest disappointment. Although the price of these toilets were probably around one-half of name brands, such as Kohler, I think in the future, I would just go with a name brand. These aren't bad toilets, but one of the brands has really cheap seats that move around a lot. We tried to replace the seats, but it's hard to find a perfect size that fits. While the other toilet's seat is fine, but will splash a little water outside the bowl when you flush, which is kind of gross. Overall, we can live with the deficiencies of these toilets and would probably give them 3 stars for the price, but taking into account the other items, I'd have to give them 5 stars. Also, overall, the customer service is good. I wouldn't say great, but good and probably better than if you were to purchase at Home Depot or Lowes.”

“I have to drive a few extra miles to shop at Lowes..but its worth it. Lowes has alot of nice products that Home Depot doesnt have. Lowes is always very nice and clean and the staff is always helpful and very friendly.”

“I had a problem with low water pressure in my house, and I called Green Garden Plumber's for help. The plumbers were able to diagnose the issue and fix it in no time. They also provided me with some tips on how to maintain good water pressure in my house. The service was professional, and the price was very fair.”

“The Home Depot! Everything you need for home improvement can be found here. And other things you need. I wanted to grab some boxes for moving and found some other things I've been needing. I found AA batteries, which I've been wanting for some toys. And then I grabbed some items for laundry; Woolite (a lifesaver for anyone who wears black or dark colors!), and laundry beads (they make my clothes smell soooooooo dang good!). I was able to get all the things I wanted and needed. :)”

“The first clerk in the appliance depth was more interested in telling me how much I didn't know, let my wife take over and I guess he had to go to lunch, he couldn't get a grip on that we were replacing a dishwasher with a new one from the same mfg. and same published dimensions,”

“It was a typical Home Depot except for all the building supplies are in the back. So as a contractor, if you need to get it, that's where it is. Typically it's upfront I'd prefer that.. There's no people working there either huh I'm gonna. I didn't see anybody on the floor working, but it was closing time on a Sunday. It is a little smaller than most HD's. But for the most part it's there. I got my 3 sheets of drywall and split after that. I recommend it.”

“Had some logistical incorrect things completed on Penske's end and Owen was SO professional and helpful to fix the issue. I was almost wrongfully charged $80+ for some damages/tank not being full but thank goodness I had photo evidence to show, so Owen was able to reverse these charges. “We had an amazing experience today because of Giselle. Giselle went above and beyond to help us when our store credit-card wasn't working. My husband had an experience on his last visit where an employee did not help him when the system was not redeeming the store credit we had, however this time around, Giselle was able to help us and took the extra step to look him up in the system to confirm his identity and continue use of the gift card. “Make use of their curbside pickup if you can. Like most homeowners, we have been to Home Depot many, many times, sometimes to pick up a specific item, but other times to just browse for inspiration. As I've gotten older, it has become less interesting to me (mainly as I've found that I'm just not as good as contractors who can do it faster and with a far greater professional finish). But as we start on a reno for our bathrooms, we've made great use of their website and mobile app to browse, choose, and pay for bathroom fixtures. For the things that are located further away and could be transported without a truck, we have been picking them via our car. One of those things is a medicine cabinet with lighted mirror, which my wife ordered through the mobile app. It showed that the closest one for quickest pickup was in Orange, which is why we drove down here on a Friday afternoon. Just like a Chili's, there are numerically marked parking spots near the handicapped spots in the parking lot. My wife had let this Depot know that we were coming, and once we arrived, we typed in the parking spot number that were at. Sure enough, in under 5 minutes, Nathan showed up with the packaged mirror and helped me put it in our hatchback. My wife showed him her ID, and that was it. We were on our way. Great experience, for no additional charge.”

“Came in today to buy a washer. My dad and I were looking around for a few minutes. We didn't see anyone at first, I had to look for someone. I saw a gentleman working down another department and told him we needed help in appliances. He called for someone. As I was walking back a woman said I'll be right with you. She came back and she was AMAZING!! Fab was so friendly and helpful. She explained to us about the brand we picked, delivery, warranty etc. I was very impressed with her knowledge and how genuine she was with us. You can tell she enjoys her job and loves what she does. BIG SHOUT OUT TO FAB!!! Thank you for everything. We truly appreciate you!!”

“The garden staff was great. I fell on my head and I have a big bump so I'm having to be more careful by lifting things and things like that. The two young guys there were friendly and more than happy to help and give me suggestions. They even had to find something in the store for me. My wife loves gardening so I had to get her some gardening stuff and they helped put it in my truck. This is why I like Home Depot specially this Home Depot more than I like Lowe's. The prices are about the same, but I've always had good service at this one.”
