I've never encountered a bad costumer service. I love coming here to spend my day and my money. Matt in the shoe department is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. Please give him a raise.

They refused to process my refund after receiving the package that I returned and they have received based on the tracking number. I returned 3 evening gowns 4 months ago and they casually refuse to pay for my refund which means they are acting against their own policy. You might think Nordstrom is too well known to do a fraudulent activity but you're wrong.

Our whole family has purchased many items through the years. In the past if you needed to return an item or a item that was given as gift, you never had any issues. Not sure what has transpired over the past few years in management but, we as a family intend to stay away from the new Nordstrom model and let everyone else know. They are no different then Nordstrom Rack, just higher prices and no customer service.

As always, women's shoe department literally sucks. Done trying to be polite and understanding online when it comes to reviews, because it's just unacceptable. I worked at Nordstrom for about 5 years and left the company, always knew how toxic, competitive, fake, and vile the women's shoe department is, at ANY location. Why are you in customer service if you can't even treat every one of your guests equally and respectfully. I absolutely hate the entire "it's your job" phrase, but in this case, especially for this department, I stand by it 110%. All we ask for is a shoe size, or if you even have any other colors. Whyexactly are you in such a nasty ass attitude for. Piss-poor service and attitude from an older female worker here on 1/10. Absolutely did not appreciate the way she treated my mom. These people just talk down on any non-english speakers, good thing I wasn't near by [I was in a different department] or I would have been very upset. It's not right. I'm in customer service, even worked at Nordstrom and was taught by an amazing manager before to always give world class Nordstrom customer service, just plain and simple, be nice to your guest. What exactly is so hard about that, it does not take rocket science to be fake, smile, and be patient. Don't you want your commission? What exactly is your purpose as an employee here if you're talking down and being condescending? Absolutely deplorable, it's kind of embarrassing to see how jerks can seriously get jobs, especially in customer service of all places. Please excuse my language as I do not like speaking this way, but stuff like this irritates me beyond belief, even if this weren't my mom and I witnessed it, I wouldn't let that happen, how disrespectful. How would YOU feel if someone treated one of YOUR loved ones like that? Oh well, you lost out on a simple sale of $500 from commes de garcon sneakers, nothing complicated. Don't get me wrong, the customer service department here is awesome, and that's always where I go for all returns, because I only purchase online, because I know how snobby salesfloor nordstorm workers get. My mom just wanted new sneakers for her and my dad and was excited, but this lady totally made my mom feel so low and shitty and left emptyhanded- which technically is fine, we easily and happily made a fuss-free purchase on the Nordstrom app. Too bad this employee didn't even want to bring the shoe out for her to just try on the size. Yuck

I don't understand why this location doesn't have good reviews. I've never had a bad experience in the contrary, their customer service is one of the best I've encountered. I don't come as often as I do other Nordstroms however I've always had a pleasant experience. Today, I went in to exchange my Dyson blow dryer (gift) for a limited edition one (also Dyson) and Stephanie assisted me. Honestly, I don't think it was her department yet she went above and beyond for me. Thank he exchange was a breeze and she never stopped smiling.

5 starts for Romary for her A+ customer service, she was attentive, professional and very helpful despite being the only other girl working in this department. She went out of her way to call another location looking for some items I was hoping to find at this store. She helped me find multiple sizes for different gifts. She helped a woman find her missing kid and a countless number of impatient customers with all of their needs in the 45 minutes I spent here and she did it all with a smile on her face. She made everyone feel like their business was appreciated. She's definitely an asset to this company and I hope they show her how much she means to the company because she's the reason why I still decided to shop here despite the store being out of a lot of items. Thanks Romary! :-)

Apparently shopping while black is a crime at Nordstrom Brea. My husband was approached by security while he was waiting for me. He was standing by the escalator minding his own business. We have no reason to steal from your store. So ridiculous.

Ordered a pair of boots for my wife online. Not ready the next day. Order in store. Not ready the next day as promised. Promised the next day. Finally delivered on my wife's birthday (breakfast in bed out). Wrong color. Delivered today. Still wrong color. Wife told me to just return along with $220 of cologne. Done with Nordstrom's stores.

I like shopping at this Nordstrom located in Brea Mall. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I used to get my out fit done here before I attend any events or hot dates with my friend. Coincidence has it that I was running out of my favorite perfume. I remember it being expensive, but I am very careful with it, so I have not had to replace it for a while. However, luck has it that Nordstrom's anniversary sale happened, so was able to score not only the replacement perfume but the entire collection as well for a little more than half price. What a great deal that was.

I had an associate named Andrew. White guy with a beard and a grey blazer. Literally hovering over me and my brothers not saying one word. We were just looking, and when I confronted him about it. He dismissed it as service. I am a Registered Nurse and my brothers are software engineers we can afford it. We don't need to be made to feel like a thief. I feel like it was racially motivated. As we are Latino.

Today unfortunately I was not doing any shopping. I came by to return a coupe of items that I had ordered .... Super simple. I did have in mind though to go the cafe, as I have had a craving for a good panini! I was just super happy how they took care of me because the weekend before I was at SCP Nordstom and unfortunately has the worst time there shopping with my daughter for a party we had coming and we ate at their restaurant and left so unhappy with our meal. So today Brea Nordstom made up for it. Thank you! Next time for sure making Brea our first stop.

Today I visited the mens department at Nordstrom Brea to exchange my belt my wife gifted me for my Bday! Gary was very patient and helpful helping me find the right size. Unfortunately the brand does not make any bigger lol but he was able to help add another hole to the belt to fit just right!! At the end of it all i was expecting a charge. He says no its complimentary. I was just WOW after 20 minutes of me taking up his time he says that. I love Nordstrom for there Amazing customer service and it's because of people like Gary! Great Job brother!!!

This review is specifically for Rich in the men's department. My boyfriend grabbed a suit jacket he wanted to try on and before we could ask an employee to show us to the fitting room, Rich offered to help us out. He also caught us as we were about to leave with only the suit jacket and offered to help us find the matching pants that go with it. Lucky for us there was only one pair of pants left in the size we needed and Rich found it for us. He was super helpful and kind and we ended up buying more than we planned because of him. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves for awesome customer service!

I came Tuesday to do some shopping, like most ladies shoe department is a must stop to glance. As I was paying for my transaction, I left a bag with a purchased I had made at Express . I went home and left all my bags in the trunk, then I totally forgot about them for several days. Friday night, before my sons game I needed the trunk space, that's when I realized I'm missing one other bag... Today, Saturday morning I called store before they even opened because I couldn't wait. It was a $426.00 purchased I had made at Express. So, yes I was sweating bullets, and praying to every saint for help. To my surprised they answered even before store was opened, they quickly transferred me to their lost and found. AND yes!!!!!! they had my bag, everything in it, nothing touched! Nordstrom I love how much you cater to your customers to always make them feel every cent spend here is well worth. Once again THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Gracias! MERCI! Gracie! Mahalo! Salamat! Outstanding customer service!!!!!!
