TL;DR nice staff, clean though aged rooms, decent bang for your buck. I booked with miles through an airline.Some points:- Bring your own toiletries. No toothpaste, and not a lot else is provided. The soap bars are small and brittle.- If you're in, keep the deadbolt on. Staff will attempt to enter your room with little to no warning (not with bad intentions, just unexpected).Overall had a good experience, but reading the other reviews, we'll see about the $100 deposit and how long that takes to be refunded.

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of these reviews. But, I arrived and had no trouble finding parking. I was warmly greeted by the man at the front desk who completed the check-in process quickly. My room is basic, but CLEAN! This appears to be a safe location. If I could change one thing, it would be the bed - this is the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. But, it's clean, I feel safe, and the room was reasonably priced, so I really can't complain. ?

I had the worst experience here. I sincerely had a hard week, i woke up with positivity in my heart. Did chores, went to go check in 15 mins after 3pm. Money ready to go. Everything was right...These people cancelled my booking after i asked about AAA, they said my credit card declined. That's the first, but why did you charge my card before I arrived. That's illegal and the site reads, card wont be charged until arrival.I said that weird, so i booked it again and they cancelled it. I said why, because they want a 250$ deposit.But the site doesn't read anywhere about a deposit. She than said it's 150$ and now 250$. So you pick your deposits based on customer looks. OkayyyyShe charged me a cancellation fee, even though i said I'll just pay the deposit and stay. She refused to give me a room.Im out 88$And honestly if i stayed, I would've lost 250$.. these people are evil.Parking alone is terrible. They sectioned it themselves instead the city doing it. Car spaces are close to touching.They basically rip people off to pay for their house in the center lot.From yelp reviews, they have bed bugs, broken a/c and the wife is extremely rude to customers.If people are losing 250$ deposits half the time and getting charged 30$ for towels. They make money off cancelations and not actual sales on rooms.To do this for years, is a special hell for you lol

Nice place. They just need to learn how to do business. The deposit is part of the room charge apparently ($100). I already confirmed with Goldman Sachs that the charge is not pending anymore, and was fully charged. I was there from 2AM to 6AM. Didn’t even use the shower cause it was dirty. Nice location!Safety: Very safe. Just not your money hahaha

I had to choose at least one star or it would not let me proceed with the review. Do not I repeat do not stay at this hotel it is infested with bed bugs and they do not wash the mattress pad. The mattress pad was infested with bed bug feces. My boyfriend and I rented for two nights September 22nd Friday night was our first night there notice you were getting bit but didn't think much of it we thought maybe it was mosquitoes from walking in and out to grab our things from the car going on our second night there around 8:00 p.m. my boyfriend was getting bit up again and was itching a lot so I flipped on the light switch and told him look underneath the bed something is also biting me. He then lifted the mattress and a bunch of bed bugs started running around then we noticed there was blood stains on the mattress pad which is a huge indication of bed bugs there was also feces from bed bugs on the mattress pad which you could also tell them mattress pad had to be washed and I would say month it was disgusting and infested with bed bugs and feces as you can see in these pictures. We asked for a refund and the guy said he would only refund us for one night since we had already stayed at one night it was ridiculous.

I booked the Travellodge, because I was going to be performing in Brea for three days. I pre paid through a third party. I arrived on Friday, checked in with no problem except that the owner charged me $100 deposit for the room. I travel A LOT. I am in a different city or country every weekend, I normally stay with Marriotts or Hilton and this facility is no.way near that standard or quality, and this is the first time that i was charged such a large deposit., yet I paid it, put my stuff in the room and went to perform. At the club, I found out that the manager had booked the HIlton for me, so after my performance, I went back to the Travellodge packed up and turned my key in. I explained to the owner what happened and he told me that since I booked through a third party, I would have to call them and ask for a refund, but he would only charge me for the night. I thought that was fair and was willing to pay that even though I had not spent the night.So I called the third party and talked to the owner who had changed his mind and only refunded me for one night, even though i had paid for three. This was very dishonest, unprofessional and deceptive. Not only did he lie to me, but he literally stole money unnecessarily. He could have still sold that room. I never even slept in it. Even if he hadn't sold the room that night, he may have had a return customer, as I come to perform in Brea every year. He decided that stealing a night pay, which he did not have to do was more important than honoring his work.I would never come back to this facility nor would I recommend it to ANYONE! I will let my fans know NOT to stay at this place. And I hope the owner learns a valuable lesson.People may forget what you do, and people may forget what you say, but they will NEVER forget how you made them feel.

14 day stay for work. Zero issues. Small parking area, my room was clean, comfy enough, staff was nice to me at least. I'd recommend.

I was going to leave a nice review that only mentioned the huge roach that we found in the bathroom and the beds are hard.The younger staff is very lovely and helpful. He also was accommodating with our door situation. The manager, on the other hand, was very rude and very mean—my parents were the ones that had this bad experience with this manager.We needed this hotel for showers and bathrooms because our landlord was fixing the plumbing in our building. We reserved the room on Saturday for 14 days, two weeks, but we counted wrong, and the actual checkout day was Friday.They were very hostile about this mistake. We live close, so we did not imagine it would be a big issue. We could of pick up our stuff and moved on, but she was hostile and began yelling out my mom and dad. Unfortunately, I was not there. My dad got worked up and started yelling, too, out of defense.I don’t think it was fair or correct to be hostile. We didn’t cause problems or even use much of their stuff. We even used our toilet paper and towels. It's definitely our choice, but the introverts we are we just didn’t want to bother, because of how long we needed to stay, oh well I guess.TLDR: The manager is rude, and I hope no one else deals with her. Don't go here if you need accommodation for home repairs.

Small, uninspiring rooms. The toilet would clog, even taking a pee. Took a good 15 minutes for the water to get lukewarm, if that. The lady owner was rude and disrespectful. Plus, we haven't even gotten our $100 deposit back and it's been 5

I will not be coming back to this place. The bed is hard as hell to sleep on. No comfort at all. The sheets where not changed. I found a hair with rubber band under the blankets and other crap. The worst hotel I been at.

I stayed here for a couple nights this past Easter weekend because my church is across the street. Price seemd a bit high for what you get, but compared to other places in the area, it's definitely more affordable. It's a small, cozy motel. No pool. Definitely not a luxury place, but nice. The older man with glasses in the office was friendly. We never got to go into the office - everything was done through the outside window. The room we were given was next to the office on the first floor, so it felt pretty safe. The walls were kind of thin though. We sometimes heard the neighbors and people outside. The neighborhood here, in general, is very safe. So great location, and near lots of businesses on Imperial Hwy. The room had 2 queen-size beds, very nicely made, with very firm mattresses. The room was small and functional, but very neat and clean. No roaches or anything the entire time we stayed. We requested non-smoking, and there was no hint of smoke at all in our unit. The floor had no carpeting, but understandable because it makes cleaning easier. The shower worked great - heated up fast with strong jets! The TV remote was a little challenging to operate, but it worked. The wifi worked, but was a little slow. I will probably stay here again when I come to Brea.

The place could use a little love.Check in was good, the lobby wasnt open but staff came as soon as the bell was rung.The rooms are ok but the floor had debris, I noticed a few webs, and there was hair in weird places. In exhaustion, I flopped on the bed and felt like I jumped on a card board box.Location was great, 15 minute walk to restaurants.

This place smells horrible. Updated reviewI would give 0 stars to this hotel, owner is dishonest and he replies that everyone smokes heavily in the rooms if you love a bad review. Guess what? I don’t even smoke and I made a big mistake by staying in such a cheap place. Dirty place and even dirtier people who run it. UNREAL. Despicable owner

Hilarious that you have an owner making threats against people who are leaving reviews.. as if it's some classy hotel or something. I actually live in the area and I can tell you this hotel is always had problems and there's always had questionable clientele and have always been completely accusatory and sneaky. They're never in the office when You need them and they simply don't care as you can tell by the owner's responses.. he ignores all the mentions of cockroaches He's not accountable for anything apparently he's perfect and everybody else is the problem.
