Quite possibly the worst product I have ever used. The viewsonic board has a terrible operating system, crashes a couple times a day, rings loud notifications at random times, has a terrible interface with google programs, they don't update in real time, I could go on. I would not advise purchasing viewsonic view board at this time.

VP-2785-4K (Nov. 2024)
Negative 500 stars
Original monitor failed after less than 300 hours of use. Replacement unit (a) looked used, due to the finish on the front bezel being worn off and (b) had a dE2000 of about 6, instead of their advertised 1.5, in the sRGB color mode.
1. Original monitor cost me about $1,000.00. Unfortunately, they could not fix it after 6 to 9 months of replacing all the PWBs a few times. (The only part they did not replace was the panel, which is the highest amperage part in a monitor.) But, before I could suggest they check the panel, they shipped the monitor to the wrong address, so it got temporarily lost. So, they sent me a replacement unit, which customer service said would likely be an open box unit, from someone with buyer's remorse.
2. Unfortunately, the replacement unit was a refurbished 2018 model, instead of a 2019 model, like my original monitor. The unit had (a) a worn off finish on the bottom bezel, near the hot-keys and (b) pry marks near the slots for opening the monitor. When I asked customer service about them saying they would give me an open box unit, they said open box means refurbished without egregious cosmetic defects.
3. In addition, the replacement unit had a dE2000 of about 6, instead of their advertised 1.5, in the sRGB mode, according to a Xrite i1 pro colorimeter. Unfortunately, customer service could not confirm that refurbished units get recalibrated to their advertised dE2000 of 1.5. They only know new monitors have panels, which are calibrated separately at the factory.
4. ViewSonic's repair process seems to include letting (a) their facility make a repair and (b) the customer check the quality of their work. I think them not repairing my original monitor after two repair attempts shows this.
5. I mentioned to customer service that if my monitor has a defect then there are probably other monitors with the same defect, due to monitors being produced in batches. They said they had no record of any other monitors having problems similar my original monitor. However, they did say they had a monitor, at their business, with a presence sensor problem.
Summary
So, (a) I give them about a $1,000 for a new monitor, (b) they gave me a monitor with a defect, which caused it to fail in less than 300 hours, and (c) their warranty policy allowed them to give me a refurbished monitor, which had a bezel with a worn off finish and a dE2000 of 6, instead of 1.5.
I looked forward to buying their lower-priced, high-end monitor; after owning a low-end monitor for about 10 years. In my opinion, I got an over-priced, mid-range monitor, given all the above problems.
I think their company logo should be a Mickey Mouse character, instead of three multi-colored birds.

I purchased my first Viewsonic monitor, an XG320Q, in early November. Despite having some issues, the hardware didn't turn me off to the company, but their conduct has. The monitor has no reviews, which I thought was odd, but the specs were good so I took the plunge. After a weeks use and finding what I liked and disliked, I submitted a non derogatory 3 star review of the monitor, and said it would be a solid 4 if they resolved a couple issues. It was never published.2 weeks later they solicited me to review the monitor and by then I had found a couple more issues, so I responded with a review and added the new issues that I had found. It also was never published. I tried again 2 weeks ago, and that review also was never published. This monitor has been out for several months and has no reviews of any kind on the site. Based on my experience, it is pretty clear that Viewsonic is receiving reviews for the monitor, but they aren't 5 star so they simply aren't publishing them. Very very shady conduct for a company.Since they won't publish the review for the monitor, I will publish it here.Viewsonic XG320Q 32" 1440p Gaming Monitor Review ***Pros- Sturdy stand, plenty of position adjustment, fairly dark blacks for an IPS, good contrast, fast response, G-sync with 175hz refresh, gorgeous HDR visuals. SDR visuals are also sharp and it appears higher DPI than it is with text appearing smooth and dark in SDR mode and SDR content aside from text also looks good in HDR mode.Cons- Expensive for a 1440p 600 nits monitor. OSD is clunky, and the bottom strip RGB is a detriment. The constant movement of the lighting along the bottom on all options is distracting and I just ended up turning it off. It's extra expense I could have done without. The screen is too reflective, and reflects any low light reflective surfaces (like the monitor glow reflected off of the white door and desk in a darkened room) as a bright spot in the corners on a dark screen. It looks fine with content on the screen but is very notable on a black screen or in very dark areas in videos/games. Most damning though is the Elite Display Controller software, which just quietly quits while launching. Several online posts I found say you have to have the system sound set to the onboard monitor speakers for the utility to even work, which is absurd, and they report that the software randomly stops working requiring an uninstall/reinstall. The utility never worked for me from first launch after installation, despite trying to run it as administrator, in compatibility mode, a couple uninstall reboot and reinstall cycles etc. The biggest problem with that is you have to use the utility to update the monitor firmware. No functioning EDC utility, no firmware updates. That's a problem and not one I would expect on a $750 upper end monitor.Bottom line- This monitor has the potential to be good and may be a few months down the road when hopefully the kinks are worked out, but until they fix the EDC software so it will run and release a firmware update to tweak some issues, the monitor has one hand tied behind it's back. Any recommendation now unfortunately bears an *. If they were charging $550 it would be a solid 4 stars and I could excuse most of the issues (minus the non functional EDC software) as the HDR does look beautiful, but for $750 on a 1440p monitor I expected more and I expected functional software that is required for full monitor function and maintenance.

Purchased xg2560 refurb and I’ve been really happy with its performance. Best picture of all my monitors. I wanted to leave a review because their support is so fast and helpful. I made some user errors that they corrected within the hour of my inquiry.

I bought a VA2719-2K and within a 2.5 year period, it broke 3 times. It was replaced but I will soon be out of my warranty period and the fourth monitor i assume will also fail. This is disgusting, do not buy from this company.

I've been dissatisfied with the attention to my case. My husband purchased a 32" monitor as a present to me. I would be using it for my job (writing reports), and not have to squint as I did with my old monitor. I was very excited to use it, when I finally put it together and turned it on, to my surprise the monitor had internal damage to the screen. I've taken several pictures in every possible angle, I even offered to take the unit myself to make the process easier and faster, my request was ignored. Its been several weeks now and when one request is granted they seem to come up with something else just to prolong the situation or avoid fixing it. We have bought several different units from ViewSonic, but if we are going to have this issue every time something needs to be fixed I rather take my business else where even if I had to pay some extra bucks.Sincerely,Dissatisfied customer

I purchased three of these monitors and after a few months one of them developed lines in the screen. I contacted support and they issues an RMA but after getting the email it said I had to pay for return shipping which was almost $40.Unfortunately the company would not pay for shipping and I was forced to pay 1/3 of the price of a new monitor to get a defective monitor replaced. This is unacceptable in this day and age where most products provide a return shipping label at no charge. To have to pay to replace a junk monitor they sold me is ridiculous.I have long been a Viewsonic only customer and as a computer technician always recommend their products but those days are gone, they will lose far more than the $40 it would have taken them to pay for the shipping costs they should have covered anyways.

Great products, strong brand visibility, changing culture towards younger audience with helpful customer service. Have used their monitors in our businesses often and don't have to worry about quality ever. Highly recommend!

ViewSonic has amazing monitors. I have been using them for years and they have remained in great shape! I think the monitors are actually getting way better with the color and visuals.

I can't believe all these five-star ratings - Viewsonic definitely has a good social media team making up fake accounts. I wish I could give negative stars! Where do I start? I've never had a solid Viewsonic product that lasted for more than a year or so before failing and needing little parts that cost hundreds of dollars. No matter how careful the product is handled and cared for. The customer support is terrible, their own website is wonky. The latest piece of junk is a PJD5523w that I think we paid about $600 a few years ago. It was supposed to be new, but it seems refurbished. The bulbs used to cost over $100, now you can find them for around $50. With the best bulb for it, it has always been pretty dark, even if we have it on the brightest setting. After a few years of owning it, the DMD chip has gone kaput, and I find that it costs $225.00 to replace the chip. I've never had anything but LEMONS from Viewsonic, and I should have known better before buying this piece of crap - shame on me! Viewsonic, you've always been a terrible company as far as I've known, shouldn't have given you second chances - you SUCK. Buyers beware. Need to spread the word and hope this company goes under soon.

I've used only viewsonic monitors as long as I can remember. None have broken and I've only had to update my monitors, well, just to upgrade. I've also bought a few as gifts from viewsonic (one wedding gift). I can't say the same about other products since I've never purchased them but they sure do make monitors good.
