I have been a loyal customer of Zara for many many years. But over the past couple years, I've seen the quality of the shop go down quite a bit and it really lose that special touch that it had. Nail polishes are in boxes everywhere and they leave one news station on the TVs all day. Every time I go in I get a luxury pedicure or a luxury manicure and I've yet to figure out what is so "luxury" about them at this point. I was supposed to have a seven minute massage on my feet and my hands today and it was the most absurd thing I've ever had. Just rubbing on my arms and throwing more lotion and more oil on there with no actual massage at all. It was an absolute joke and I wanted to leave no tip, but I'm not that mean. I even had to keep asking for them to clean up my nails more because I'm not sure what I paid for. I just think it's time for me to finally take my business elsewhere.

Disappointed with the rude guy who turned us down when I went inside with my daughter who wanted her eyebrows done… we walked in and asked for her eyebrows to be waxed and he yelled “ not right now”… we won’t ever be back. Took our money across the street to “organic nails”who helped us immediately and were kind.

I got an orange pedicure here and I'm honestly impressed with the lady that did my toes. She took her time and gave me a really good massage. I usually am never satisfied with any nail salon. I always think everyone is lazy and am never fully satisfied with how my pedicures turn out. The lady took her time and did a great job trimming and shaping my toenails and did a really good job in painting them.

Went to take my daughter to get her eyebrows waxed and when we walked in and told the guy what we wanted he yelled "not right now" we were so thrown off. Very disappointed and hate that my daughter had to experience that behavior. Anyways I wouldn't come here at all for anything... we went across the street to organic nails and they helped us immediately with kindness and I'm glad we went there instead.

First trip was great! But when I go back for the fill, WHAT A MESS. No fills, only new sets? Not only do they not mention anything to you, but I noticed and questioned it and they yelled at me. Good bye.

I really used to love coming here because they did such a great job and really took care you. This time it felt like they didn’t even want to try. My nails were a bit sloppy and they didn’t even trim my cuticles. Won’t be returning and I’m really sad about it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in Friday March 1st to get GelX nails for a concert with my sister. Not even two days after I got them I had 2 nails fall off completely. I went back Tuesday to get them fixed and the next day, another nail comes off. I don't have time to go in every single day a nail falls off so I asked for the Owners phone number to complain for the quality of my nails. Turns out, they gave me a name for the owner who actually was NOT the owner so they lied. I hate complaining about things but I spent $80 for 4 nails to fall off in less than a week and they were nothing but rude. GelX is supposed to last 4-5 weeks and mine lasted 4-5 days so don't waste your time here. You can definitely find people who appreciate their work and customers for a better price. Thank you for reading and hope this helps you decide!

I called and they quoted me $35 + $10 for gel. When I finished my total was $80 for a basic set. I asked and I told them why it was so much and they told me I had to pay and I couldn't leave. I feel taken advantage of this is so wrong I do not recommend this place to anyone

Have been here a few times and had a good experience, but today my pedicure was rushed. I asked for my nails to be cut shorter and was told they will be shorter after filed. She did not ask if I liked the length at any point after that. Will try another nail salon next time.

Wouldn't come back. They rush, final look isn't the best looking. There was some paint left on my finger too

I came to Zara for years prior to Covid so I have a very wide perspective to share. It used to be my absolute favorite nail salon- high quality polishes with a wide variety, great technicians, and the place felt more upscale. I took a long hiatus during Covid because my sister caught fungus here once. But then my husband and I decided to come for pedicures today as a second choice (our usual place was booked- try Nailogy in Placentia, they are awesome!) Anyway, I'm 30 weeks pregnant so my body is sensitive and I'm tired. Not only has the overall service changed (the fresh orange pedi no longer uses fresh orange "due to Covid") but every single detail inside the salon has changed. When you walk in, you can tell they have downgraded the brand of most of the polishes. The whole place feels cheap. They no longer offer you a drink. The older nail technician I got was unfortunately extremely prone to gaslighting me. She placed lotion on my feet that was WAY too hot without asking me if it was okay. When I responsed sharply, she gaslit me and said that I wasn't paying attention to what was happening and thus I was "surprised" therefore it was my fault. She said this as she continued to place the searing hot lotion on my foot. I also walked out with a small group of red bumps from the extremely abrasive technique she used the the callous brush all over my foot. She also messed up my big toe while putting my shoes on and tried to recover it with top coat only. I was very vocal throughout the process and stated my needs as someone who's pregnant and I felt extremely disrespected and gaslit. She also told me to get rid of my son's pacifier as it was "going to ruin his teeth"- excuse me? I'm here for a fucking service, bringing up your personal opinion about my child is irrelevant and rude. It was truly an awful experience. No relaxation. The products used were so cheap, my husband and I had to take showers after to wash off the perfume scent. DO NOT GO HERE. Go to Nailogy and pay a little more for people who listen and care and use better products.

one of the lady's there did my nails and she got the electric file on my skin so many times. she made 3 of my fingers bleed. when i said "ow" and pulled a way a little she got mad and pulled my hand back and continued to hurt me hand more even though i told her it hurt. the skin around my nail in now raw. i'm trying to take of the nails because of how bad my han hurts. she also glued on nails that where WAY to bid for my nail. me and my sister both got out nails done by the same lady. my other family got there nails done by a different lady and my other family's nails where completely fine. idk why the girl who did my nails wouldn't listen to me when k said my hand hurt. i have to where bandaids on most of my fingers now. i got my nails done for my sisters wedding. now i'm going to have ugly nails for my sisters wedding.
