I would give this place ZERO stars. Besides charging me left and right like 3 times in a month and not being able to tell me what some charges were actually for with promise to investigate and get back to me. I should have known they would never get back to me- AJ the manager lied! Luckily my cc company credited me but then again they got me with another charge! You try to get through again and they NEVER answer except with a hang up response after many rings! I am ready to contact Karl Sanft( CEO) and Chris Schmidt ( Sr. VP Club Operations) for such a terrible club in Brentwood! And we cancelled membership but still charging me even after all that! Do not join if you don't want to be overcharged and charged a few times a month! Now I have to cancel my credit card I guess - what a nightmare hassle and they can't even bother to answer the calls no matter time of day! Must be having lots of complaints so they rather not deal with it!

Terrible customer service... older woman at front desk and as not helpful whatsoever. Sounds like employees don't communicate on the rules and regulations for this location. Never coming back.

Review is a reflection of observations over several months…Half the paper towel dispensers and spray bottles are empty around 5-6pmMany many broken cardio equipmentDirty Locker RoomsNo application of gym rules or etiquette towards the teen groups that over crowd the gym and make it their playgroundThe 24 in Walnut Creek, San Ramon and Livermore are leaps better in regards to member satisfaction, cleanliness and so on.

When this site was opened up, it was clean. The manager took pride and so did the staff. Apparently the manager or above has decided that keeping the club clean is not a priority. When I went into the Men's dressing area, the floor was littered with paper and had not been mopped for at least a couple of days. I asked the male employee if he could rectify the unsanitary conditions, but was blown off with I can't leave the desk. With three employees at the desk. So when I left an hour later, I just grabbed the broom and did it myself. 24 hour has been is a nose dive for a couple of years; I would not reccomend it. And if the floor is so neglected, what about the pool and saunas? I plan on going in during the week to complain, but doubt it will help. Good News though, Planet Fitness is right up the street!

Just started here, Javier signed me up, super nice and helpful. I swim mostly and there always seems to be room. Weekday, I was the only one, Saturday shared a lane for 20mins then got my own. The only issue I have is the women's bathroom is disgusting. Not sure if they are short handed, but whoever is cleaning that bathroom needs to get retrained, seriously! Hair everywhere, dirty mirrors, just gross. My son is a manger of a gym and no way would that get by on him. Plenty of equipment for my needs. Please, work on the women's bathroom.

Had the Gym at 4 stars . They have posted sign at the sauna that no exercise equipment, personal equipment in Sauna. They do not enforce this and one person takes over the sauna every morning for an hour. He comes in and out and blocks the entrance and exit for people and " saves" a large area for himself. Same guy in the gym saves one machine with his large water bottle, another with his gym bag and use a 3rd machine . Gym would be better without " Mine" guy

Decided to give 24 hour fitness another chance since I'm new to the area. I gave the girl my ID and an email as proof I live in the area. Because I did t give her my street address because I don't feel comfortable giving my home address she wouldn't let me even try the gym. I've tried MUCH nicer gyms in other areas I've lived and they've never asked me for so much personal information and were so rude to deny me. Welp, I'll never come to this location. Incredibly rude staff. They sure did a good job convincing me to not sign up. The location was crowded and loud anyways. I'll stick to my gym where I pay $150 a month to be in a nicer environment.

First time member of 24hr fitness. I like the location and the size of the relatively new gym. However, in my 16 years of working out, I’ve never seen such under-equipped gym. Busiest machines have only one set of attachable parts that creates waiting for that one guy who more texts than works out. Trying to find ropes was impossible. Free weights are a mess! Nothing is in place where it belongs so finding equipment took away time from my workout. Pool is a nice treat and I used it few times already. Just it would be great if someone enforced members not entering the pool area including steam room wearing their outdoor shoes. That’s just gross. Stuff is friendly and helpful and overall the atmosphere is fun.

I really enjoy this gym. I mainly go to the classes and am so glad to have access to them! Most gyms still have not started classes again. The staff is friendly, the other members are kind, the sauna and steam room can get crowded, but people are friendly and respectful of space.

I used to really enjoy coming here since it's located close to my house. However, it's been so crowded the last few months and there always seems to be a safety issue here. I feel so much more comfortable going to a different location. I only see myself coming here to use the squat racks or during off hours when the other locations are closed.
