I deal with a small local bank in Brentwood, the Bank of Stockton. They are sometimes “old school”business-wise, and some of their technology isn’t as advanced as the big banks. That said, I never have to drop into the phone “black hole” (Press 1 for the next set of options) when trying to call my branch - someone answers the phone, always. I needed a replacement ATM card this morning because I lost my wallet over the weekend. I walked in the branch, told them what I needed. The banker, Liz Bravo, said “hold on”. She made a call, hung up, and said “just wait a couple of minutes”, and then I walked out 2 minutes later with my new replacement card. BoS has consistently been the best local bank I have ever dealt with in all of my life. Sometimes technology is only needed in smaller doses. From home loans, checking, HELOCs, for us, it has been a ‘customer first’ experience. No lines, just smiles, good people, and first class service. Who needs Bank of America type service anyway???? This is stupidest Bank in The United states , I bought a BMW 328d , but I can not make auto payment , every time I call to make payment they charge $ 16 for fee payment , I asked the employee , they told me only 1 way call to make payment . Please keep away from this . Don't waste your time and money here . You only gannoying

I have done business at almost every Bank of Stockton branch and have had the best experience at every location! I am always warmly greeted with a smile and my transactions are done efficiently and quickly! I've been banking here for almost 50 years and don't think I could EVER get the attention to detail anywhere else that I get here! I bank here because it is locally owned and operated by one of the most trusted and respected families in all of Stockton and San Joaquin County! I opened up several accounts for my children here years ago and now they have opened up accounts for their children! Trusting your money with just anyone isn't an option for me!

I went in not knowing anything about this bank and because it was so close to where I live it was convenient. As soon as I walked in the Branch I got a bad vibe and bad looks. I wasn't asked to be helped I had to ask for what I was there for. I have never in my life been treated so poorly and by an "assistant manager." Vanessa Ordinez was her name and she went on by opening my account and had my address and email wrong! God knows where she was sending my debit card to.She told me they didn't have capability of making cards inside but I heard different by other branches after the fact. I get home to set up my online banking and notice the errors made right away. I speak to Vanessa and she is mad that she made the mistake and tells me I can go pick up my money if I'm not happy and close my account! What a way to help a customer out and be treated. After speaking with her I set up Zelle and made a transaction. I get a call from Vanessa telling me she was closing my account because of my zelle transaction. Never did she go over any disclosures because she was in a hurry to open my account and never intended on keeping it open either. A Zelle transaction is completely normal and what was she doing looking at my account every 5 minutes. That is creepy and invasion of privacy. She is a horrible and unprofessional person! Thankfully Anthony at the tracy branch opened an account for me professionally! I hope the bank does what they need to keep the community safe at Brentwood!

They don't believe in wearing face masks, and get upset when you ask about the matter. I was looking to open a business account with them but this incident changed my mind. The government needs to look into this matter.

I have been a member of this Bank before it was Bank of Stockton. Always a good experience. Today I called because i needed help. I erased my log in information. I called the Bank and Elizabeth amswers and puts me on hold. Then comes back in and states they are all very busy today and could they call me back. I said I needed to talk to Vanessa about something. She is the one who helped me set up my account information. I called at 10 am and never recieved a call back. I may not have a million dollars in there bank and can be a problem some times but, I should be treated with respect just like the Million dollar client! Very disappointed and yes. hurt feelings. No matter what we vall about we all should be treated with respect
