“We stayed there for 2 nights in Sept 2025 for hiking and trip to Bodie. Roxanne the Mgr is super lady with adorable Rocky the yellow lab. Room was clean and well equipped. Decent selection of places to eat in town. We will stay here again next spring and summer.”
“We stopped by here because a friend of ours had said we should check it out. It's kind of put together like a living History museum and they have cabins and covered wagons you can stay in which makes it very unique. Our timing was perfect. We showed up at lunch. I have never met more gracious, friendly, and helpful people. We had a delicious lunch and they made sure we had a nice cool table and plenty of ice water. I can't recommend it strongly enough”

“Forget about the sad bathtub and old times decor. It’s all about the BED! Fabulous cozy comfy bed! We stayed in room 32. The heat came on fast and the cozy comforter made everything perfect. Clean sparkly room. Cute quaint decor with a microwave and fridge. We will make this our new stop on our way from Oregon to Sun City. Perfect”

“First review, second time staying here…why? because I love the beds and linens, I sleep great on them. The beds are comfy, pillows great, with soft and warm linens. The hotel itself is an antique with turn of century charm, so managing expectations is a must. The rooms are nice and clean with a functional, but dated and tightly spaced bathroom. There also might be a little noise from the other rooms. The hotel provides spring water and coffee along with a communal full size fridge in the communal coffee bar kitchen area. The owner is also great, he’ll assist with anything you need, call ahead if you have any questions or issues.”
