“Dr. Ung is great, she spends the time explaining everything thoroughly and you don’t feel rushed. Wendy provides great customer service, she walks you through the great expanding selection of glasses without any selling pressure. It’s a welcoming atmosphere there, you can’t go wrong!”

“I think they do a service to the community and beyond. Many of the up turned faces judge saying it's wrong and what they do here is a grind. A thankless job dealing with the task of helping out some very difficult and demanding people that many have abandoned and don't care about. A lot of volunteer hours go into their work and very few people simply say thank you for your service. Instead it's entitlement and give me this and give me that and ride remarks if they can't accommodate. So, PLEASE if you read this or you stop by take a second and say thank you and appreciate the service they do provide. This place does great work!!”

“I had been trying to get a custom wheelchair for my wife for a year. The company we worked with was unable to get an approval from Medicare. When we are introduced to Access Medical, we were skeptical about their ability to achieve Medicare approval. They Did! We now have a truly great chair. We appreciate the time that Michael took to adjust the chair to my wife's specific needs. We are so grateful for their kindness and excellent work and follow through.”

“I was referred to Steven from my ocular oncologist Dr. Prithvi Mruthyunjaya at Stanford. Dr M is a giant in the field of ocular melanoma and he personally performed my enucleation on my left eye. He said Steve was the master. My doctor was correct! Things to know. It's a three day process. Day 1 is making the mold. Day 2 is painting and fitting. Day 3 is final fit and going home with your prosthetic. It will not look impressive while he's making it. It's the final step where he bakes on the cornea layer and polishes it up where it starts to look really good. But it's when it's in your socket is where it really comes to life. I was totally disoriented and shocked when Steve said I could now turn around and look in the mirror. I felt like I was looking at doppelganger or a vision from the past before my enucleation. It was that convincing. I even temporarily forgot which eye was the fake one. All my friends and family were blown away as well. It took a full day to adjust to the new look. This in part because I wear my socket loud and proud. I fully embraced my one eyed self immediately after surgery. I even have one eye when I dream. So a prosthetic for me was not solving an emotional need, because I'm totally cool going around with a bare socket. So my prosthetic is more like a piece of jewelry. Something I wear for fun. I swap out my prosthetic and conformer twice a day because I surf every day in the morning. Steve said don't surf with your eye or you'll lose it in the ocean. Other things you should know. Steve is a jokester. He's routine is well honed. So you'll get all the classics he's perfected over the years. However, he can also take it, so we had great fun ribbing each other. But, if you are uncomfortable with a casual and humourous atmosphere, just tell him. He jokes around to help people relax . If you need a more serious atmosphere just tell him. If you don't like the TV on, just tell him. Because the TV is also there to help relax and distract you. If you like the TV but not the program, just ask him to change it. He doesn't care because he's not watching the program. You can watch my youtube video about my whole experience.”

“I rely on my mobility scooter to get Everywhere! After 53 years of MS, my independent walking days are behind me. My Pride Elite Traveller scooter was many years old. We tried new batteries, but that didn't "fix" it, so I am now the proud owner and "driver" of a new Pride Elite Traveller Sport, with more leg room, headlight, and rear reflectors. I stuck with the 3-wheeled one.Bought it for a good price. Owner understood my urgency to have it to get me to a medical appointment and had it delivered real soon after purchase. Made new friends there. Thanks to Alex and Rizza and to Matthew for accommodating me and my partner. I highly recommend Allure!! btw, their VanNess location has street parking right in front, and several spaces have fast turnover, so Go There!”

“A great owner and place to go to for medical supplies. Having torn my Achilles a day prior, I was in immediate need of a knee walker scooter. Gerald at Able Medical had one that fit my needs perfectly. Additionally, he helped adjust it to the proper specifications and gave solid advice on proper usage.”

“I recently had a great experience with M&M medical supply when I needed a CPAP machine and consultation with a respiratory therapist. The staff at the business were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They guided me through the process of choosing the right CPAP machine for my needs, explaining the different features and options available. The respiratory therapist was patient and took the time to answer all my questions, ensuring I understood how to properly use and maintain the machine. The overall service was exceptional, and I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this medical supply business for anyone in need of a CPAP machine and professional guidance.”

“So, while enjoying the World Dog Surfing Competition, barefoot on the beach, bam, jammed my big toe into a rock hiding in plain sight. Ignored it for a week, then hobbled to Urgent Care. 45 minutes later I'm clumping home like Frankenstein. Since I'm about to leave for vacation at the very same ocean, i went to 7 medical supply places looking for a waterproof boot cover. I wouldn't have had to go to some of these places if anyone actually answered their phone. Soooo, nobody carries boot covers, in spite of the fact that our city is surrounded by water on 3 sides, and Amazon has plenty to choose from. The lady at the desk, despite being on the phone, immediately acknowledged my existence & asked me to wait a minute. I looked around and they seemed pretty well stocked with a lot of items I didn't see in the other stores. Sadly, I struck out again, but left in a good mood because I interacted with a genuine human, friendly and helpful. ITC gets my vote.”

“Here is an update of my friend's interaction with Bay sleep clinic in Oakland come to find out that they are not responsible for the monetary payout for sleep studies the money is actually coming from a company called Steel Field Works that is as we were told the name of the company that is responsible for the pay out to people who do the sleep study with Bay sleep clinic and it's has actually been since October we've been waiting for his payment for doing the study so again Bay Sleep Clinicis not responsible for the actual payment to the people who performed the study the company that lacks integrity is called steel Field Works”

“Spent 2 days looking for a product for my dog's post op incision. Tried 4 different drug stores and most were not helpful or were clueless. Finally went to American Medical Supply. The kind, informed man knew exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for your help. Price was right too.”
