Nice quiet place, groundskeeper was very welcoming. The kids loved walking around the loops and were always in sight.

My goal is to walk daily. Asphalt is perfect, very clean, and close to home.

My husband and I love this place ,Jan the camp Host is absolutely the best he always comes around in his little cart and checks on us to make sure everything is ok, which is great, I love to go to the day use area during the day and sit and watch the wildlife, they come down for drinks and it is very peaceful there.Restrooms: restrooms are clean!Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash when other dogs ate present, we let our dogs off the leash so they could swim.Picnic area: plenty off tables to picnic with bbq's clean and neat

We love this place. Well maintained and beautiful setting. We try to camp here at least twice a year and are always wishing we had booked our spots longer because we don't want to leave!?

Love this place but they raised the rates and are adding more camping sites so that equals crowded it was a good size campground very well kept showers coin operated code needed for that and restrooms on site host bridge to cross creek with path to park up the road that has disc golf course. Yuba river very near by and fishing.also beautiful day use area no fee picnic tables gazeboPortapotties only and not much parking if its crowded day.

Unfortunately the power kept going in and out. Im afraid if it would surge our trailer. It is next to water but the yuba river is fast and freezing.

Clean picnic area with nice tables, grassy areas, and shade. Access to the Main Yuba River.Restrooms: Porta-potty at the river access point. Possibly more established restroom in the campground area.Picnic area: Excellent picnic area with multiple tables in the grass and shade. Large covered area for group activities.

Love camping here. Very clean and care takers are very friendly. Always willing to help with whatever you need. Very family oriented and pet friendly. And prices are very reasonable. Most sites have nice shaded areas.

I have always loved staying here. I’ve always had a great time. But this time, was absolutely the worst! Arrived around 6:30ish Friday night, while backing up the trailer into the spot, Jan “the man” was not very friendly and started telling me that I couldn’t park the trailer like that. I had just gotten there and was trying to get the trailer straight, All while being attacked by thousands of mosquitoes. The whole time I was not able to walk, fish, have a fire, or be outside at all, without hundreds of mosquito bites. On Sunday, the mosquitoes weren’t as bad. Checkout is at 12, but I had asked if I could stay later. Jan told me I could leave at 2, but then right at 2 as I’m hooking up the trailer, he comes to harass me. He tells me that I won’t be able to stay there ever again if I don’t leave at 12 next time. I was being very nice and calm and I offered to pay more for the later checkout (which he didn’t accept) but then he continued to badger me about it. After paying $90 for 2 nights, having my firewood stolen, the camp host being rude, and not being able to enjoy my camping trip because the mosquitoes wouldn’t stop attacking me. I most likely won’t be coming back after this experience, which is sad because I used to love staying here.

As part of a large crowd of camping families, I love the very peaceful and natural surroundings. Very grounding. They offer showers, restrooms and port-a-potties, bbq's and fire pits, with electrical outlets and water faucets at camp sites. Clean, quiet, and serene. The staff are unobtrusive, but available. Reasonably priced for overnight use and day use is free. Swim, fish, look for wildlife or bike on the many trails throughout the park. Something for any nature lover... Also, the gas station down the road is a perk too, just in case you forgot something;)Picnic area: They have bbq and fire pits as well as picnic tables.

Could use a bit more lighting and signage but all in all, a beautiful spot for a festival.
