“I absolutely love coming to Todd Pipe for plumbing needs. I have recently had a lot of irrigation projects pop up in Buellton, and Todd Pipe has become an absolutely indispensable resource for me. All of the fittings are logically organized and labeled. I'm so used to the disorganization of pipe fittings that you see at typical chain hardware stores that I'm surprised at how little time I spend in Todd Pipe because everything is so easy to find. Everyone here is really nice as well.”

“We discovered Salvatore’s a couple months ago when we had a problem arise with our espresso machine. We brought it by, knowing that it was not one of theirs, and that they very well may not be able to service our machine.

The entire store is covered in custom metalwork and memorabilia of some of the incredible work Salvatore has created. There are quite a few machines on display, in varying degrees of completion, customization, and refurbishment. Some are simple and modest, and others are over-the-top display pieces for various businesses and eccentric collectors.

While speaking with Salvatore and his wife, Wendy, they showed us some of their build operation, where nearly every piece is custom crafted in the back of the store. Wendy showed us a book she had put together with some of Salvatore’s most creative builds, and offered us an espresso from one of their machines.

Every element of their craft and perfected down to the most minute detail. The finish on their machines and grinders is flawless, and varies from stainless steel, to powder coated surfaces, and even brass and hammered copper.

While one of Salvatore’s custom machines was beyond our budget, we returned for bags of their espresso, which they blend in-house, and Salvatore gave us several tips for better maintaining our machine to help insure longevity.

We were very impressed with the entire operation. Salvatore and Wendy are both lovely, and we will continue to return for their delicious espresso beans. This is a wonderful stop for coffee beans, accessories, an espresso machine that may outlive you, or simply to admire the craftsmanship and learn about the history and labor that goes into your morning beverage.”
