I live and spend most of my time in Santa Barbara.
I've gone to a number of auto parts stores in SB and in Santa Maria.
I've had good experiences and some not so good experiences in those towns.
One day I was staying in Buelton for a few days and needed a repair.
I went into the Buelton O'Reilly auto parts store and quickly found out a few things
1. Amazing customer service
2. Excellent auto parts knowledge
These people know what they are talking about and that's important when your trying to get your car repaired
This place rocks!

Sam and Matt are awesome, they helped me troubleshoot a problem over the phone while I was broken down on the 101 and even helped get me the part delivered that evening.

Always happy and helpful employees. If they dont have a part in stock, they can usually get it for me the same day or the next. My go-to for most of my vehicle maintenance and repairs. Highly recommend this store. Seems like our Buellton store is better than most I have been to.

Good customer service depending who helps you. If you get the manager to help you he is awesome and super helpful. If you get another associate that’s a different story. Went to exchange a battery that I had bought the night before that was not working. (Knew it was the battery cause I used another battery and the car started fine) he tested it and said it was a good battery and had an attitude about exchanging it. Dude chill it’s not your battery and that’s what the receipt/warranty is for so calm down! Exchanged the battery and the replacement worked perfectly. The customer service this occasion left a bad impression tho.

The staff is extremely friendly. They helped us figure out how and where to get our oil pan replaced and saved our holiday in Solvang. Jose especially went above and beyond to help us. Would definitely recommend!

I can't thank this store enough for always being so helpful, honest and non-judgmental. Being a woman, mechanics always try to hustle me because they think I am unfamiliar with cars. To a certain extent, yes, but I am familiar with a hustle. I took my car to get new tires across the street and they told me I need a new battery for $300, cabin air filter for $100 and engine filter for $90. Kind of insane and times are tough right now , so I went to Oreillys and they tested my battery, alternator and starter for free. Thank u! Yep, battery was bad. After going home and realizing it wasn't covered by my car's warranty, I went back to Oreillys and Jose changed my $200 battery for free! Thank you so much Jose! He even showed me how to change my engine filter which turned out to be less than $20. And I changed my in cabin filter in minutes (thanks to youtube) which cost less than $20 as well. I can't thank the guys at Oreillys enough, for always being helpful! If only every mechanic treated each female customer as if they were their sister, mother, daughter. I highly recommend this place! Thank you!
