Great hotel only thing as a repeat customer would be nice if they upgraded customers especially when loyal to the hotel

I really wanted to love this place but it started out bad and progressively got worse. I booked a room with a patio view that specifically stated it faced the pool. This was the most expensive option. I got a chair facing a wall and a parking lot. When I called they said they had balcony OR patio not specific to the pool. Well, both their site and hotels.com specifically say pool view for the queen superior room, so I’m not sure what language they speak but I’m pretty sure I know what the word pool means. So they change my room but try to correct me again by saying it says balcony or patio. Yeah again, NO it does not. But ok moving on. Even the picture of my room looks different from the picture they have online but once I changed my room, it looks like the pictures online so clearly they don’t know what they’re talking about. So then the first night I buy a s’mores kit to roast at the campfire, but I didn’t get a chance to do it the first night so I come out the second night to do it and pop into the office to buy an extra pack of s’mores… while I’m holding my other pack (from last night) she charges me for two packs I told her I only bought one pack, and clarified this was the pack from last night so she refunded the duplicate pack. Then two seconds later she comes out to the fire pit and turns it off and says it’s “quiet time” I don’t know exactly how a fire pit makes noise but why did you just sell me s’mores if you’re going to turn off the fire pit?? So I go back in to get a refund and said since I haven’t even opened this I want to just get my money back since I can’t use it now that you turned off the fire pit… then she asked me for the other pack of s’mores, which clearly was the pack from last night (didn’t we just have this conversation two minutes ago!?) which she already charged me TWICE for. Just really crappy service and unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending. Your loss since my dog has multiple thousands of followers on Instagram and I would have gladly promoted your establishment to my dog friendly followers. Except now I’ll be sharing this review instead. Look y’all the room was $338 a night THIS IS NOT THE FAIRMOUNT OR THE RITZ so at least have decent service if you want to charge those prices and then correct your customer (that is not incorrect) about the room choice they paid for.
Staff was smoking inside their little office under the stairs it was stinky and unacceptable because it states no smoking within 25 feet of building. I will be looking out for my refund of $20. I had this booked again for the future before this bad visit going to be canceling that as well. Lost a customer and future business.

My daughter booked this hotel and I was skeptical because the rates were much more reasonable than other hotels. I was so pleasantly surprised! I loved it! The roons were a great size and very very clean! The atmosphere was adorable! We loved the windmill! We enjoyed sitting at the fire pits at night and breakfast on our door in the morning! I would totally go back!

Due to several delays during our travel, my wife and I arrived extremely late. The front staff was present and very friendly. Being exhausted from a frustrating day of travel, the staff was sensitive to our situation and placed us in a room close to the office for quick and easy access. Arriving so late did not give us an opportunity to order breakfast for the following morning but to our pleasant surprise breakfast was provided directly to our room. Such a great experience.

Nice room, very clean, garden view. The wi-fi was down the entire time. It can be a little tight getting in and out of hotel with traffic as hotel runs right along the 101 fwy. Great pub!!

First rime staying here, room was clean and tidy, extremely well maintained. We visit Buellton often and will definitely be back

This is a cute hotel with clean rooms. The beds are also comfortable. It also had a balcony, which was super nice until the people downstairs started smoking cigarettes at 7 AM.
One weird thing about the room is the shower setup. The shower doesn't have a door or a curtain. It's the type that has half a glass wall. However, whoever designed this must have never taken a shower before. When you turn the shower head at an angle, the entire bathroom gets soaked with water.

friendly welcome, uncomplicated, nice, functional rooms, free parking, well-kept area with fireplaces. Breakfast (2 bagels, fruit, orange and fruit juice) was delivered to the room from a local bakery. Overall we were very positively surprised.
Rooms: freshly renovated with a small balcony.

The most confusing part is when we first checked-in, we asked about the EV charger as it is listed on their amenities. They told us to go to Marriott across the highway to charge. The sofas are “vintage style”. Breakfast was simple and the orange looks like not fresh. Although they did give us a new orange upon request. The location is close to highway, which means you can hear the traffic at night. Price is okay.
