We purchased an 2023 Airstream Classic @ Airstream Santa Barbara for full MSRP pricing. The Airstream was missing several essential items (cabinet clips, medicine cabinet shelf clips) that quite honestly should have been recognized as missing from Quality Control at Airstream. They did send the parts. The sink window shade was battered and pointed out at our signing day, we were told they would send a replacement- they didn't. The walk-through was not great. We had purchased an Airstream in Austin TX and the experience was far superior. But here's the worst;We were talked into the "ceramic coating" for $4,000. We NEVER buy anything extra but have heard how amazing the ceramic coating is. We even called Vinnie's Airstream who, we had watched videos on the ceramic process and the quote from Airstream of Santa Barbara was far cheaper (&more convenient) so we went w/ them and laid our $4,000. On receipt you can't tell if it was even done. But then; 3 months later, we are in Las Vegas @ Oasis RV Resort and they partner w/ an RV was company whom washes 20 RV's a day, 100's of RV's so, after the wash was complete I ask; "Can you tell we have the Ceramic Coating", his answer; "No, not at all, there was no beading of the water, however, the bugs in the front came off fairly easy". Maybe they put a very light coat on the front only"? My advice; DO NOT GET SUCKERED INTO PURCHASING THE "CERAMIC TREATMENT". Learn from out mistake. Really disappointing. Feels like we got swindled.

I've been taking my Bambi exclusively here for all my issues and, honestly, I've had mixed experiences in the past. However, this last time I took it in, I noticed a few things had changed and I soon learned that they had recently come under new management. The new Parts and Service Manager Barry and his crew (Zach and Morgan) did their best to be sure that I was satisfied with their work and I really felt that they appreciated my business. The service man Luis was able to fix the problem that wasn't done properly the last time and Zack did a great job listening to my concerns and making sure I didn't pay for something that I had previously paid for and wasn't done correctly. I feel very fortunate to have these guys here on the central coast. I highly recommend them! Some very cool people!

We have a 6 month old Airstream we bought in Florida and while traveling through California one of the AC units quit blowing cool air. With temps over 100* almost frequently we were worried it being addressed. Fortunately our unit has 2 AC units but still..wanted to get it serviced asap while under warranty! AS of Santa Barbara was able to give us the appointment date we wanted. When we brought it in we were met by Barry, the Service Manager. Literally in one day they replaced the defective Dometic AC, repaired to minor fan issues and educated us on best way to "quietly" close our door!. While they had a few issues that brought us right to the end of the work day, Barry, Oscar and rest of team made a great successful effort and got us in & out in 1 DAY! (We had originally been prepped to leave unit with them for a week but we couldn't because we're traveling in it!). MAJOR KUDOS and Thanks to Barry for handling us with clear communication while keeping a great disposition. BECAUSE we did not buy the unit from them we are very grateful and recommend AS of Santa Barbara to all AS owners!

These guys are absolutely the best. We have a brand new 2022 Globetrotter. We were 600 miles from home with our second water pump problem, (surprise surprise). Not only did they fix that issue, they noticed an issue with the trailer brakes. Turned out to be bad wheel bearings which could have been disastrous. They got the parts overnight mailed and we were on the road the next day and returned home safely a couple days later. To Barry, Bryan and Dan a huge thank you!!!

We were having problems with our 2nd water pump (first one never worked) #2 was installed wrong by The Airstream Dealership in SLC, UT... we traveled to Southern, CA, and no one would look at it. We were traveling up the coast....called Barry @ The Airstream of Buelltin he said his team would look @ it! When we arrived they had corrected the water pump problem, and a shower leak!! They said they wanted to look carefully at the brakes. Mike, Bryan and Dan had to replace the Faulty Wheel Bearings!!!!MANY THANKS TO THE TEAM IN BUILLTIN,CA ?

As RV newbies we have really relied on the service department for guidance on everything from setting up our hitch to ensuring everything is working well on our trailer. We have had excellent experiences with Airstream of Santa Barbara and the service department. Robbin, Bryan and the folks in the service department go out of their way to ensure you leave safe and well informed. We also appreciated the easy going and no pressure approach working w Kat and Bill in sales. This led us to purchasing our second Airstream, a new Interstate from Airstream of Santa Barbara.

Airstream of Santa Barbara offers an excellent experience from the sales dept. with good follow through and accurate information on ETA. We were satisfied also with the service dept. We love our Airstream although we do have some minor workmanship issues we are working through that were really factory issues and not the dealer. Hopefully we repair those at home.

We recently purchased a beautiful Airstream Bambi from Airstream Santa Barbara. After doing a lot of research, I emailed many, many times with lots of questions and everyone got back to me right away. Our purchase was seamless. Everyone there from the owner to the office to the technicians were kind and thoughtful. I would highly recommend checking this place out before you go elsewhere!

Airstream of Santa Barbara's service location in Buellton performed a number of tasks on my 2007 International 25 and did an amazing job. The technicians were super helpful and showed us everything and explained how the new additions all worked. Very honest and helpful customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend this team for future service needs! Many thanks to the Buellton Team!

We had a lot of problems with our furnace in our 2018 16RB and then decided we would buy a used 2020 19CB. Furnace worked great for the first couple of times we went out, then it stopped working! Called Service at Santa Barbara Airstream and after a couple of tries was able to talk with the Service manager - Robin and we scheduled a repair even though she told us the parts would be 3-4 months back-ordered from Airstream Ohio. We took it in with the hope something could be done since we were traveling in April to Denver in 27 degree weather. Furnace was repaired by Brian (stellar guy) and it worked great the whole trip. It is wonderful to be able to trust an RV mechanic (Brian) and Manager (Robin). We needed a trusted Airsatream shop after Sky River quit Airstream Inc.

Sad to write this review as I gave airstream of Santa Barbara time to remedy this issue as well as Airstream Corporation; however, upon the lack of remedy of the situation I have to resort to warning other customers to make sure to get every single little thing in writing that they say to you. I purchased a brand new 2021 airstream flying cloud 27 FB . The process of seeing the coach, and all that went just fine. The issue was upon the day of pickup I had discussed with the saleswoman over the phone that I wanted to pay the $140 fee to have the coach winterized since we live in big bear city and it was actively snowing. We were told it would be taken care of- when we arrived to pick up the coach at the end of the walkthrough they looked confused when I asked about if it had been winterized. I explained I had requested winterization of the coach- Robbin- the service manager was saying we could just drain the lines. I kept insisting it was going to be 18 degrees overnight and that Kat had made it very clear we needed to winterize it. Her and the technician kept insisting that it would be just fine if the lines were drained. I asked the technician to do it because I did not trust myself to properly drain them or whatever if we were not going to be putting in the antifreeze. We continually expressed our concerns about not having it winterized and they kept assuring it would be ok. I should have had them write that in a piece of paper and sign it- so they would be forced to reimburse me the $1500 in repairs I ended up having to pay in Texas due to the tankless water heater having freeze damage! We didn't add water to it or anything while in big bear- we drove to Texas and as soon as we connected our water line water started spraying out of the tankless water heater. We had to take it to DFW airstream who did a stellar job of fixing everything and explaining to us how to properly winterize the unit. It was a $1500 repair that should have been reimbursed by Santa Barbara since we trusted them when they said it would be fine and it wasn't fine and that's just plain dishonest! Especially for a $100,000 dollar unit. I am extremely disappointed at Bill Lanier the owner and Robbin the service manager as well as airstream corporation for being unwilling to take care of this because airstream business are "franchises" so it would have been up to Bill to make it right- which he didn't- even after this was escalated to his regional manager. Don't ever buy an airstream here and if you do get every single thing in writing in order for them to be held accountable

They went above and beyond to make the purchase process enjoyable, safe, and easy all while staying within our budget. Can't wait to make memories with my family in our new trailer.
