Unfortunately, the service department does not return phone calls. We have been told multiple times we will get a call back and there is no response. I am not sure how you operate such an operation in this Valley with inferior follow through.

Luis saved the day! We had a panel come loose on our 1969 Safari on an extended trip, and he kindly worked us in while we were traveling through the area. He was generous with his time and expertise. Many thanks!

If you're considering buying a new airstream look elsewhere to make your purchase. Morgan Hill or Inland Empire would be my suggestions. Apparently Santa Barbara was a good option a year ago or so, but recently they were bought out and now are owned by a bigger cooperation and not a 'mom and pop' operation any longer. We bought our 27' rear hatch international from them and the whole process was bad. Absolutely no communication from start to finish. We were supposed to be told when it was going on the manufacturing floor so we could go watch it be put together, no communication. When it was around the time for it to be delivered to Santa Barbara I went up there to see about delivery date, I was told it would be at least another month because of problems with delivery drivers. Then we got a call the next week that it was in. We went up to do our initial inspection and found a few things that need to be fixed and added some things we wanted done. We were told it would be 1-2 weeks to get everything done. It took them over a month to give us a call that it was ready for pick up. We went up for the pickup and the first thing I checked out that they were supposed to fix hadn't been fixed and was told that they would fix it when we brought it back for the 90 day inspection. This being our first trailer/coach you would think they would help you hook it up to your truck, not a soul around to ask questions to or give advise. As we drove off the lot it was like a ghost town, plenty of employees inside but not one came out to say congratulations. You would think that when you spend that kind of money there would be some sort of recognition, nothing. Very poor customer service. Hopefully they can improve when we bring it back for the 90 day inspection.

The service people at Airstream Santa Barbara are great. We have a white airstream interstate 2016. Often as we are traveling North from our home in Santa Monica in Buelton something starts rattling or going wrong. We have on several occasions and stopped by the service department. Both the manager and the techs have gone out of the way to solve the problem and get us on our way. They were helpful and nice and I would highly recommend them.

I have had the worst experience ever! Paid $12k for a Lithium Battery, Solar and Inverter/Charger upgrade that has never worked properly. The worst of it is that the service department still has my coach and has given me the run around for the past two months. Originally purchased a 2018 4x4 Airstream Tommy Bahama Lounge from the same dealership, you would have thought they would treat me better as a long term customer. My business also purchased a rig from them.. that's almost $400k in sales!\nThe service manager Robin who I'm now told no longer works there was rude and would tell me to call the mechanic directly so she wouldn't have to deal with me. Since then I have asked for a manager or the new service manager to call me. To date no one has reached out. I have left messages and received no call backs. The mechanic is the only one that on occasion takes my calls and he seems very overwhelmed.\nI made the original appointment in December of 2021. My appointment was on Feb 19th and the work was completed by March 11th. Again the battery system upgrade has never operated correctly since then. I repeatedly requested them to fix it and it wasn't until May 16th that they excepted that there was a problem and took it in. Today is July 16th and I still do not have the coach back. I have zero confidence that anyone at the dealership even cares.\nSanta Barbara Airstream has had our coach for almost 90 days (stored outside) and we have not been able to use it for the past FIVE months! I hope this review gets a follow up response. If this is not resolved in the next couple weeks I am considering filing a civil complaint.

Double thumbs-up to Robbin in the service department. My single-axle Sport 22 suffered wheel well damage from a tire blowout. Robbin coordinated with my insurance company to get the repair process going. Unfortunately, and by no fault of Robbin and Airstream of Santa Barbara, it took quite a long time to get the parts. When the parts arrived, she scheduled an appointment right away, and my trailer was fixed in three days. They cleaned and detailed my rig so well it looked better than new! Thanks Robbin!

As RV newbies we have really relied on the service department for guidance on everything from setting up our hitch to ensuring everything is working well on our trailer. We have had excellent experiences with Airstream of Santa Barbara and the service department. Robbin, Bryan and the folks in the service department go out of their way to ensure you leave safe and well informed. We also appreciated the easy going and no pressure approach working w Kat and Bill in sales. This led us to purchasing our second Airstream, a new Interstate from Airstream of Santa Barbara.

Airstream of Santa Barbara offers an excellent experience from the sales dept. with good follow through and accurate information on ETA. We were satisfied also with the service dept. We love our Airstream although we do have some minor workmanship issues we are working through that were really factory issues and not the dealer. Hopefully we repair those at home.
