Walked in and was immediately greeted. Although there are rows of shoes, and seemingly a mediocre selection there were no boots and since that's what I was specifically shopping for I was disappointed in the visit. I did peruse just to see what else was offered and there were plenty of sneakers, purses and sandals. Perhaps I'll return when I'm shopping for those.

Johny the evening security guard on 2/18/24 he made my shopping experience here a very uncomfortable one. My family is big we are 8, since we came in my kids were just looking at the toys and he was just looking at them like they were going to take all the toys and run ( my kids are little) he would just walk around keeping an eye on us ( the only Hispanics at the moment) he even asked my kid where the pokemon cards were when he had put them back right in front of his dumb face. Smh other people could literally walk out with some shoes and he wouldn't of had notice just because he was targeting us.Also no restrooms, no exit to mall, roof leaking everywhere! 3 stars because it's clean and have good prices.

Love the selection of women shoes, but last time I was there 2/18/24 in the evening the security guard (Johny) made my shopping experience very uncomfortable. As soon as we walked in speaking Spanish my kids went straight to the toys, well he looked at them like they were going to run out with them mind you they are little kids! He wouldn't stop looking over at my kids, even telling my son where were the pokemon cards he was looking at when he had put them back right in front of his face. We felt discriminateted and until I confronted him he stayed away from us. The store is leaking everywhere, no Restrooms, and no back exit to mall. I prefer the one in downey.

I purchase a gift card through Afterpay on 01/09/24 @ 2pm so I can use at DSW. At checkout they didn’t want to accept my gift card, I told the manager at that time if she knew about AfterPay she said yes. I told her this gift card comes from them but they declined to use the gift card. The manager on site has no customer service skills as to resolve these type of issues and confirming that in fact the gift card was valid!! I talked to Afterpay representative and gave them the store information, they will talk to them to see what was the reason the store declined to use the gift card. Really upsetting to see this and treat the customer as a delinquent, nobody is trying to rob anything!! This store needs a better team on the floor that has actual knowledge about these cases!! She said they don’t manually punch in the numbers for the gift card! Many other stores do punch in gift card number at the register, DSW is not a high end store to be acting this way!!

I came in to to buy some items last minute and while shopping I needed to use the restroom. I found the restroom, but it had been blocked by a dolly and handwritten sign that said, "no customers beyond this point." I respectfully asked a store employee if I could use the restroom and she said no, it was only for employees. I explained that I had an emergency and needed a restroom. Needless to say, I walked out of that store and promised myself to never shop there again. I was humiliating to explain my situation, and still received no compassion from this employee.

DSW at Buena Park mall, worst experience always. Everytime we receive coupons like free bag with purchase of $49. But they always said they r out of bags. If they dont wanna give then why they send the coupons.

Emails 650am and later before 6 pm.Completely out of control email robot that makes me remember the amount of email a week from dsw doesn't make sense . Completely unnatural to email bomb .All future plans are on hold til control is made here. No sale. Cant understand the need for thislevel of technology abuse . No sale . Diminished all curiosity. Dsw has it wrong with email disaster.
