Great food and drinks. A little overpriced. And service was ok. Had to wait awhile for our drinks, bread and to order dessert.

Service was poor from the start — we waited over 10 minutes without acknowledgment and had to ask the hostess for help. Both the New York strip and filet were tough and disappointing, though the ribeye cap was the only decent option of the evening. The cheese bread was undercooked, then burnt when reheated the same bread and cook staff responded rudely when asked about it. Our server, Gaston, was attentive and apologetic, salvaging the experience — he's the only reason this isn't a 1-star review.

Service was great: Fast and courteous as always, but the meat was not even close as it was before. We ordered the 1/2 Parrillada and the Entraña was tough; the short rib was also tough, and the NY Strip was tiny, much smaller than before. The Lamb Chops, even though they were super small they were very good. It was definitely not good experience. We have been numerous times to Gaucho Buena Park and feel they are compromising on quality.

Bestie friends met for a birthday dinner celebration & drinks! The food was beautiful and so yummy. The medium prime rib was cooked to perfection as well as the seasonal veggies and papas ahumadas. We all had steaks and we all enjoyed so much. The tamarind margarita hit the spot. Thank you to Gaucho Grill for the singing and free slice of birthday flan and twinkler candle. Can't wait to go back again!

Our second time there. The food is so good and tasty and we will definitely be going back there soon. It's a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or any other happy occasion.

It was our first time there and our server Arnold was really helpful. He helped explain the menu to us and even made some recommendations. The server and the person that brought the food made sure that everything was good with our order. It was my mom's birthday and they brought out a sparkler on top of a flan. Great service and food over all

Perhaps, low staffing affected service, however, it was not very busy either. We waited a few minutes to be greeted. We had a reservation for 8 people. As a courtesy, we were there about 15 minutes early. They tried seating us in an area that sat 6 comfortably (rough start). The ambiance was nice and pleasant. My food was delicious (seabass). However, 3 of the 8 guests, did not like their food (milanesa plate, fettucini). The empanadas were amazing. It was expensive, but I don't mind spending the money for good food and good service. The old fashions were very good as well. It was just a little disappointing, that we did not have good customer service experience. I guess I was expecting more since I read up on their reviews.

Food was great, the service was great. I wish it wasnt as noisey but we now know which tables are a bit quieter so now we ask for those tables.

My brother-in-law recommended Gaucho's, so we made reservations in May, which we thoroughly enjoyed. My family was visiting from out of town & wanted to take them to Gaucho's for good food & to celebrate a birthday, however, that wasn't the experience. Our reservations (for a party of 8) were at 3:30, we arrived 10 minutes before, the wonderful/lovely host seated us immediately. We waited 10-15 minutes for our waitress which she greeted us with attitude. We were served one complementary bread basket (5 slices of bread) for a party of 8, so I assume 3 guests wouldn't be eating bread. We had to chase down the servers to get one more bread basket and we were willing to pay for it as we read in the menu. The first basket is complementary. When we asked questions about the menu her facial expression showed irritated. When our food arrived we asked for chimichurri, however, never made it to our table. We wanted to make another order, however, our waitress never made it back in time, so we proceeded not to as everyone had finished eating. During our meal, not once did our waitress ask if there was anything we may need and the restaurant was not busy (we were seated were we could see all the tables and bar). The food came out cold and the meat lacked flavor. It was the the same experience we had 3 months ago (and it was busy that time; our servers and waiter that time were excellent). My husband tipped very well, however, this is the last time my family will be returning. The experience was terrible. My husband attempted to speak with the manager the day after, however, the manager was busy and never called us back.

As avid steak and wine enthusiasts, we were very disappointed. First, the menus were paper and the ink was rubbed off on most of it to the point of not being able to read it. The server apologized and said, “We are supposed to get new menus soon.” Ok. We ordered a bottle of wine, and that was decent. We ordered empanadas as a starter followed by a chopped salad, then a platter for 2. I specifically requested that the food be spaced out and was told it would be. The empanadas came out lightning fast, and the salad practically on top of it. Ugh. Both were good, but we agreed salad was better. We hadn't even finished the salad, and the meat came, so frustrating as I even reminded the server we wanted time to enjoy the salad. Oh well. We had ordered the temperature of the meat Rare to Medium-rare, and by the look of the platter we could tell it was overcooked. We decided that we could live with Medium on the lamb and short ribs, but not the tough NY or skirt steak. We showed the server and they agreed it was in fact overdone and took the meat “to show the chef and replace.” The replacement was much better, but with the whole experience being what it was, we were not too happy, though we appreciated the concept as we love Argentinian cuisine. We inquired about the restaurant's history and heard how it began during COVID and the owner persevered, which we truly admired. Finally, the server asked if we wanted dessert. I had seen a slice of Ricotta cake for $3.50 in the window of the deli in the entrance of the restaurant and expressed wanting to order that as it was not on the dessert menu but was sold in their deli. I was denied. She said we have to buy it directly from the cashier, and the deli was now closed 🤣 Seriously?! The server couldn't have asked a manager to sell me the ALREADY SLICED AND FOR SALE cake? Very poor service and policy in my opinion. ESPECIALLY since we were spending $200 on a meal that we didn't even get to enjoy or eat timely due to issues. Ugh.

Unfortunately, chicken was served raw Notified the manager, she was appalled didn't know what to say, but only offered to credit us two empanadas and two soft drinks thank God we caught it in time if we would've ate it we would've been extremely sick
