LiMai is more than a school, it's a family. My daughter has been attending LiMai since she was 19 months old, she's now 3.5 years old. As soon as my son turned 18 months (this past June), we sent him off with his sister. It's one of the only schools in our neighborhood that takes 18 month olds and non-potty trained kids. The doors open at 7:30am and closed at 6pm which is totally awesome for working parents. My kids are the first one there. We were worried at first with my daughter adapting to the schedule and lunch options but after two weeks, she was good to go. She dropped to one nap and ate during the scheduled times. Her speech came in a little after two and I'm sure it was all because of her teachers. What's awesome about this school is they also potty train! It took my daughter less than a week to get the concept. After two days, no more accidents. Not even at bed time! All the teachers are very welcoming and loving to our kids. They meet us at the door for pick up and drop offs. They are responsive whenever we message them via Class Dojo and provide weekly photos of the kids. They take absolute great care of them and fosters their education at their pace. My daughter even says her favorite parent is "miss auroa".The directors are also amazing. Mrs Tabitha and Mrs Amy super helpful and responsive to my emails. They treat my kids like their own with tons of hugs. They keep us well informed of events activities ahead of time so we can plan for the month. I can't rave enough about this school. Highly recommend!

My daughter started at Limai the day the pandemic started in March 2020. She barely spoke English. She now speaks English very well, knows the good manner in English, and also started speaking Spanish since she is in the Spanish Immersion class. We are French speaking at home and we were looking for a play-based program with great attention to the child's identity. We love Limai and are so proud of the way they handle the respect of the safety rules for our community. We love all the team, from the director who is welcoming all the children with a nice attention and caring for the well-being of everyone. The teachers who are really professional all the way to Miss Candy, the chef, who cooks a variety of food and expose our children to other flavors and recipes.I had plenty of boxes to check before sending my daughter to school and Limai checked them all and more!

Update: the owner said this I didn’t visit. I did visit under a different name. However who will leave a review under their real name for a school while their child is still at school age? The director did hand out the price list after greeting and gives no interest in introducing their school like what is different in Montessori .etc. I already found somewhere else and hopefully they are better than this one.Former post:This review is about the director. I Visited this school and the director shows nothing about caring or loving for kids, all she cares about is the money. First thing after greeting she handed out the price list. Maybe she thinks not everyone can afford? Lol. And she is very impatient answering questions or give some intro about her school or class. Can’t imagine how she will treat my kid and how teachers will be under her management. Not recommend this place.

LiMai Montessori was our son first daycare and this place is beyond amazing. It was after the lockdown of Covid happen and at first we were kind of hesitant to take our son to daycare. We reviewed a few places and this place had a opening and we snagged it asap, because alot of places were getting booked. We don't regret it one bit We don't regret it one bit, the teachers and staff there are all very nice, and our son remembers his first teacher there Ms. Tanya, who is awesome. Ms. Amy and all the staff there made my son's feel excited as all he could talk about was the activities they did.

You can see they care about money not children !!! The girl who did a tour lasted 5 minutes and just showed me the class room no full tour. Was asking for 400 deposit ASAP. Told them I first have to call my program to see if they are connected with them.Called my program and 5 minutes later they said they were full! Even the girl was like they are full they have no space, she gave all my information. Spoke to the Front desk lady (Asian lady) said that my son was the first on wait list, then when I told her I been outside I saw no one come in how can the space be full in 5 minutes having 3 spaces left..... she said that he will but my son at the front of the waiting list because there was 2 more children. She kept lying and it felt very uncomfortable... And contradicting herself. Makes me wonder about children being safe...We called back a week after space available and no call back or Courtesy call "being first on the list"....Unfortunate to have this type of school be discriminated and not showed respect would want to put my children in, if all they worry is about getting deposit non refundable, btw this is why I didn't leave the deposit the lady who showed me was suppose to be the director. I am glad I didn't enroll my child here!!!!You can see what they care about, as children are just dollar figures. And they dont even have legit teachers! Please teach anyone that going to pay you same respect.

We had to leave the school due to relocating but I am not sure if I'm gonna find anything as good as Limai. My two children absolutely loved it. The teachers are phenomenal!!!I've seen a review about a teacher that speaks Korean, they probably refer to miss Amy. We'll, miss Amy is THE BEST! Extremely friendly in a genuine way. Will miss this school for sure

Yes it happened in Buena park. Since they have same owner no matter where i am posting. I dont want to even remind it what happend at that time. Now your reply makes me upset again. It was really embarrassing what they treated me at that time. Here's what I wrote my review again. I am posting again. Parents!!! i strongly not suggesting this place. Please do not waste your money.

Sending your child to any type of care for the first time is terrifying. My daughter is almost 5 years old and she started at LiMai when she was 2 years old. It doesn't matter how much we researched there is no perfect school or childcare for your child, but LiMai comes close. Ms. Amy is amazing and always greeted us with a smile and she always took the time to answer questions and addresses any of the concerns I had. My daughter is a picky eater, but aren't all kids. Ms. Candy is the cook on campus and she prepared all the meals for the kids. This was extremely beneficial for me because I didn't have to prepare meals for my daughter and I knew she was getting well balanced freshly cooked lunches on campus that exposed her to different types of foods. I love that LiMai offers Asian food on their lunch menus. Like with all child care, the turn over rate for teachers are quite high, but during our 3 years with LiMai, all the teachers have been amazing and went out of their way to make my child and I feel comfortable. Look it's not easy to care for a child and the staff here are caring for 20 + kids at a time, so cut them some slack. I also like that they take the time to refill the kid's water bottles. I remember inquiring at another child care and when I asked if they refill the children's water bottles, she looked at me confused and said I can pack another water bottle for my child. That just shows the extra care LiMai's staff puts into caring for our kids. The summer camp is awesome because they have so many fun activities for the kids. Water play, magician, petting zoo, bubbles, and etc. We are extremely grateful for being part of the LiMai family. We were extremely lucky that LiMai was such a good fit for our family.

My daughter is 22 month, and has had a great time in Limai Monterssori. I deeply appreciate all teachers patience and help her grow. Her Mother's Day project made me cry. Tuition fee is A LOT cheaper than my friend's kids daycare in LA. All in all I am very happy with everything here. Deepest appreciation from our family.

We started our Montessori journey during the COVID pandemic. It was time to transition our daughter into pre-school but e we couldn't risk her going to physical school. We started their virtual class and soon realized how important it is to have a great teacher. Ms Ayla taught us allot and gave our daughter a great foundation in a challenging format. Later we transitioned her into Ms Ayla's physical class and it couldn't have been a better decision. Ms Ayla and Ms Lihua have taught her so much. All of the staff at LiMai Buena Park are amazing and caring. It really feels like a big family. Ms Amy is always smiling and there to help us and Ms Tabitha brought leadership to the school during impossible circumstances. We like all of the COVID protocols and our daughter is in great hands. Our daughter also loves the school food. Ms Candy apparently knows how to appeal to both parents and kids. Thank you so much LiMai!!

We started attending this school less than 6 month ago. I was hesitant at first because my son has had a bad experience with a daycare. However after the first day, he was so excited that he didn’t want to go home. He kept asking all evening when he can go back there. And still till this day he is happy to go to school in the mornings. He loves the kids there (his friends) and he talks with excitement about his teachers.I can already see some academical progress which makes me happy.I also love the convenience of checking in and out. You just scan a barcode and that’s it. So much better than writing and signing. Same goes for monthly pay. I set it up once in the app and I don’t have to worry about it every month. So convenient!!!

we been sending our son here for 3 years now. If it wasn't for the move, we would of continued here for many more years. We truly love all the staff here!!The teachers are so sweet and patient with our child and he is a very active kid. Everyday after school, my son would tell me what he learned in school that day. Some of the knowledge he knows truly amazes me. We are currently looking for another school for our son and it's so hard to settle with any. None of the schools that I looked so far offers all the options they have here. We feel lucky and spoiled by this school. This school also offers Chinese and Spanish classes. Some of the staff here speaks other languages as well. It truly is an awesome school. We will miss Limai greatly!!

If you are thinking of sending your children to this school, stop! After spending almost two years, I lost a lot of money and learned nothing at all. My child went to this school and got hurt, got hit, or was hit by a friend, but later on, my son said he did this or that, or that my son did something wrong. There are so many shocking stories. There are a lot of young people these days, and if you act like this, you'll be in real trouble! No matter how much CCTV is installed and the director is always watching it, those actions really seem unprofessional! I don't know if you're still around, but if your children want to learn something educationally, I recommend somewhere else! And CCTV isn't everything! If this person got hurt or hit and you have no intention of compensating for it, just shut up and apologize! It's so unlucky and ridiculous!! Don't go here!!! Not the place to learn from these teachers!!!!
