Stopped in randomly after seeing their ad on craiglist. I used to go to oil can Henry's to have my oil changes for my BMW 550i. They recently closed down so I had.to find a new place! Great service. The mechanic who assisted me was very knowledgeable and explained everything to Me with detail. They noticed my day time running light was out and he also fixed that for me. Fast reliable & affordable service. Thanks, you just made a customer for life!

I took my car her to get an oil change and full time up. Eddie was fantastic, he fit me in to get it done without an appointment and got it done in no time. My previous mechanic had told me I needed to do major servicing for my car but Eddie recommended I wait til it hit 60k miles. If you want a great service and an honest opinion from someone that is not money hungry I definitely suggest this place. A hidden gem in Buena Park!

I went there twice for pre purchase car inspection, and the service was great. The charge was $40 which was very affordable and reasonable, took about 20-30 minutes. They are not packed, so you can get your car serviced right away when you make an appointment. They are usually very flexible and tentative with schedule. The guy was informative too, can't find anything to complain. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Took a 2011 Civic in for a pre-purchase inspection and was very happy with the results. Caught an issue with the electronics, many would have missed and gave me honest impartial feedback. Quick, reliable, affordable. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

My brother was in the process of buying a used car in Buena Park and wanted to have an independent mechanic check it out before the purchase. Problem: By the time he made this decision (that is, he'd checked the car to the best of his limited ability), it was 4:50pm on a Friday. I searched for a AAA-Approved shop near the dealership and found P&M. I called and asked Ed how much he'd charge to do a pre-purchase checkup and he answered (a very reasonable) $50. I then asked if he could possibly do it right away. He answered that he normally goes home at 5pm, but was willing to stay open late to help us out, if my brother could get there soon. So, my brother brought the car over and Ed thoroughly examined and tested it. All checked out, and my brother purchased that car with confidence. Without Ed's help, my brother would have had to make an extra trip the next day or Monday from Los Angeles, a major hassle. Instead, Ed went out of his way to help us out and my brother reports Ed was courteous, professional, and thorough. Thanks, Ed!

I have taken my '02 Hyundai Sonata to this mechanic since I moved to the OC in 2011. I am a loyal customer and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Ed. He is honest and fair with his pricing. He explains what is wrong with your car in detail and further explains how he will fix it. He really looks out for the customer, which is rare nowadays. The time he usually takes to fix my car is same day and I have sent my friends his way for their car repairs. You won't be sorry if you leave your car in his hands!

I was looking for an honest mechanic that wasn't going to upsell me or try and find problems with my car that didnt exist. This was the right stop, brought my 96 trooper in because it was running hot but not quite overheating. They pressure tested the cooling system, drained and refilled it problem fixed! The place down the street must have left air in the system when they changed the water pump and timimg belt (800 bucks later). Quality, fast service and great prices, I'll be back again.

I took my 2007 Bmw 330i to the Dealership they told me that i need brakes and a service. they quoted me over $1200. was driving by and found P&M down the street they did all the repairs for almost half of the price and they used oem parts. they cleared my service interval lights at no extra cost. i was told by the dealer that only they can clear the service interval lights. very satisfied with the service and i will be bringing my car back for any other repairs.

A bona fide honest mechanic shop, approved by AAA! Car wouldn't start after work, so I called the Auto Club. The tow driver said that he could take me to any AAA-approved shop in the area. Called a few places and P&M happened to be the closest, and also gave me an estimate over the phone for starter replacement that was 15% lower than Pep Boys. Also, there are two car rental places (Enterprise on Beach Blvd and Hertz in the Holiday Inn lobby) just a few blocks away, which is convenient if you need a rental while the car is being fixed. Dropped the car off after hours. They have a secure box for your keys and provide a form for your contact information and repair instructions. I got a call from Mark first thing the next morning to get complete details and authorization. As suspected, the problem was a bad starter. The replacement work was done quickly and professionally, not a penny over the estimate, and there's a lifetime guarantee on the repair. They also looked over the car and gave me some recommendations for brake and tire maintenance in the next few months, without undue pressure for immediate service. I also got a follow-up call the day after the repair. Overall the repair went much easier than previous auto repair ordeals at other places. There's also a feeling of assurance knowing that they are approved by Auto Club. I have definitely found my neighborhood mechanic, and will be back for future service. Highly recommended!

I went in here the other day for a smog.I was waiting and waiting until someone asked if I needed any help.There was only one mechanic in and it seemed like they were short handed.I asked for a smog and they told me the machine was broken(bull shit).If they were short staffed he should of said "come back tomorrow" or something. I called back the next day and he said I needed an appointment.I scheduled one then the only person who can use the machine is not in ,yet. Very bad start so I went somewhere else that was cheaper and took care of me right away.

I had them work on my daughters VW Beetle, She refers to it as her POS. They did a very thorough job on her car, including washing it when they were done. My daughter likes her car again. This was my third time using them and I appreciated they quality work and honesty,(not performing unnecessary work even when I asked them to) I highly recommend them !!
