i went in to open a checking account. the team Eco, Monica, and Arman got me in and out in good timing. You should consider this branch based on recent reviews, and not judge them off old history.

This is by far the worst branch of a terrible bank. I had bank of the west for almost a decade and I’m so glad it’s over. But I had to come and share how this branch is terrible and actually full of liars. Edward strung me along and never actually sent the emails he claimed. If he would of been honest, I would of saved a lot of time and some money, but most of all my sanity. They didn’t care and didn’t help, he ignored my calls once he sunk my ship. Please avoid this bank and definitely THIS BRANCH! They are lazy and full of attitude, moving at a tortoise’s pace.

This branch opened an account for us, locked it before we even received cards, and closed it without our consent. We have made 4 different branch visits, 5 different customer service calls, and no one will help us. We had a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT where Maria Jaramillo GUARANTEED to hand over a cashier's check with the full amount of our account, and when we arrived at 3 PM, the branch was closed with a piece of paper taped to the door announcing that they are CLOSED TEMPORARILY. We did not hear anything from Maria, and now have no way to contact her. We went immediately to two other branches in the area who both cannot help us because we didn't open our account at their location, even though our opening branch location is closed indefinitely. They say our only option is to WAIT for them to reopen whenever that may be. I am truly taken aback at the terrible customer service and the lack of communication. WE STILL CANNOT ACCESS OUR OWN FUNDS. I am worried we got scammed even with a "trillion dollar" company. It is infuriating to have hard-earned cash kept away from you by the very corporation who told you they would keep it safe.

I walked in at 9:11 AM and was actually the first in line. I needed a withdrawal and to change my pin. I figured 5 maybe 10 minutes. After the teller asked if she could only give me half of what I asked for, I said no and knew I was in for it. I waited around 40-45 minutes for a manager to sign something after I signed like 4 documents. I eventually got the money and left at 10:12. An hour and 1 minute after I arrived. And not once did either manager or either teller offer any apologies, any water or coffee. All attitude.

Beware of the deposits. Every night is a reset/maintenance repair online. Don't deposit money in the ATM at night. ATM TOOK MY MONEY AND Take 3-5 business days to verify if the machine took my money. KNOWINGLY the ATM has had this problem before. BANK OF THE WEST LOST A CUSTOMER, As the past month I spent $350 on fee's when I'm under an fresh start account with no overdraft protection. They will charge you before helping you! Going thru a hardship and this bank has made it difficult in the last month with the way I trust them with my funds! ..

Love this branch. Karine Papazyan has helped us multiple times with HELOC's, business and personal accounts. She's very knowledgable and gets the job done.
