Rooms are spacious and modern but services like morning breakfast is seriously lacking in staff, accommodation and cleaniness. Breakfast area is less than spacious, breakfast buffet was a mess including only 2 trash bins that was more than full, and they keep the door locked from the outside. Hotel staff was less than accommodating to invited guests from hotel guests due to unknown or unspecified reasons other than threats to call security/ police.

I regret to inform you that I had an unsatisfactory experience with the services provided during my recent stay. Specifically, I encountered an unsanitary condition in the form of a cockroach in the shower. Additionally, my requests for extra blankets and pillows were denied. Furthermore, the individual working at the reception desk exhibited an unprofessional and discourteous demeanor, communicating in an irritated and impolite manner.
Safety: It appears that the frequency of room cleaning may be insufficient, as evidenced by the presence of a cockroach in our shower.

I'm an L.A. local so I rarely have the need for a hotel in L.A. but the occasion arose that I needed a hotel for a few nights and the Best Western Plus Media Center Inn & Suites luckily did not disappoint. The location is unparalleled. The number of restaurants and coffee shops that are in walking distance is a dream and the amazing Bloom Loft yoga studio is literally 150' away.
The hotel itself was very clean and well-equipped. The room was perfect and mostly quiet. Having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room are essentials for me and all of these came in quite handy during my stay. I'm also a sucker for a bathtub so I'm grateful that this Best Western still provides bathtubs in their rooms.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The fitness center worked for me (treadmill, bike, etc.) although it would have been nice to have a mat to do some on-floor exercises as well as light free weights. Having filtered water in the fitness center was a plus. (The pool looked quite nice too although I didn't use it.)
The free breakfast buffet wasn't the healthiest I've seen (cereals, plain bagels, waffles, muffins), but it served its purpose. The scrambled eggs were cold so I heated them up in the microwave in my room and there was a nice selection of yogurts and a coffee machine from which you could make cappuccinos, lattes, etc.
Overall my stay was great and I would 100% stay here again (and plan to soon!).
Rooms: The rooms are nicely appointed and quite large. The lighting is better than most hotel rooms. The rooms also have bathtubs. The window lets in a lot of light but there are options also to pull down a shade that lets light in and/or a blackout shade.
Nearby activities: The amazing yoga and wellness studio Bloom Loft is literally three buildings away above Landon Realty. The Warner Bros. studio tour is walking distance.
Walkability: This hotel is extremely walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, Warner Bros., Whole Foods, the Burbank Studios, NY Film Academy, etc.
Food & drinks: There are tons of great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance in the Burbank/Toluca Lake area.
Noteworthy details: The rooms have nice mini fridges, microwaves and coffee makers.

Perfect location if you're going to universal studios the following morning. An Uber is just 8-12 each way for my family of 4.

Staff is rude first off, wouldn't let me use the restroom as it's "not public" even though my friend and I were staying here, I just didn't have my key on me since I went to the car and had to then return to my room vs use the one in the lobby. Rooms are dirty shower had stains upon arrival. "Free breakfast" bagels were hard and tasted stale One of the selling points was the breakfast and it was so bland of flavor or undercooked like the soggy eggs. Definitely won't be back definitely don't recommend this hotel First time I've been at a best western that was this to put it point blank "GHETTO" both staff, the interior wise, and cleanliness wise.

I stayed here with a friend and we were hoping to get a room with 2 beds in it. They had a room, but wanted to charge 100 extra dollars for it when we already had a reservation. I decided to sleep on the couch and he took the bed. To my appalling surprise, there were seamen stains all over the cushions on both sides, it completely grossed me out and I felt very uncomfortable in my hotel room. The location was great, but other than that, I was not impressed. The hotel breakfast was okay....but the eggs and sausage were really gross. The only thing edible was the waffles, toast and bagels.

Good experience! Great location for universal studios. My room was comfy, and the employees were good to me.Me and the family went very late for breakfast (5 minutes before breakfast over) and no more eggs, sausages, and orange juice. The employees make more of everything for me, my wife and kids. Thanks Guys!!

The room was fine. Breakfast was not good at all. The hotel seems to be clean. It is old, and they have tried to remodel it. A lot of things were overlooked I would not go back there. It was in a great location to walk to dinner and see the town.

We stayed at the best western for two nights for a trip to universal studios. We had a horrible experience to say the least. To begin the remotes were not working and we had to request assistance with this. What started the most infuriating experience was requesting a blanket. We requested a blanket on the first night and the First Gentleman at the front desk was apologetic that they only had sheets and provided this.On the second night we tried again for a blanket, another attendant who seemed to be the manager responded and was very confrontational. He asked why we didn't request it before, when we let him know we did he asked us what time. He was aggressive with his communication and then came into our room and argued that we should've asked for it at an earlier time. He went to the bed where my daughter was trying to sleep and asked her to move to check there was no blankets. When he saw there was none he then provided it. It would be understandable to not have an available blanket and just let us know. It was very uncomfortable to have him harass us in the hotel room with our children present.

This place is NOTHING like it says on their site. The rooms are identical to a Motel 6. The price they charge is NOT WORTH IT! They do not allow early check-ins at all like other hotels. We arrived at 1pm after a long day, we were told to come back at 3pm. Not a problem. We came back at 2:30 along with many others that just travelled from TX, we still was told to wait until 3pm. Rooms were cleaned and ready but we still could not check-in. When we got into the room, the disappointment of their rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Looks nasty and nothing exciting! The rooms look as though they have roaches! They should NOT be charging nothing over $80 per night, we paid $337 per night for motel quality. This was my husband and I 16 year anniversary and we thought with the price we paid we were getting a NICE room! The surroundings is ghetto and just overall not what we expected! We will NEVER stay there again!

Checked in to a King size room for a 7 night stay. After first night requested extra pillows and blankets. Bed had just a couple of sheets for blanket, and pillows were small. Maid said to contact front desk. Went to front desk and was told owner says rooms are stocked adequately, so no extra blanket or pillow. After first night went to front desk and request pillows and blankets with manager. Manager stated owner is "adamant" the rooms are stocked enough with bedding. I said I will check out and find new hotel as sleeping with current bedding is inadequate. He said sorry. I checked out after one night and found new accommodations. Simple request for extra bedding was denied.
