I haven't been in lately but feel the need to say what a great place this is when it comes to the fish. they always work with me even when the mistake is mine. They have been patient with my pickyness and allow me all the time I need to make a decision. never feel rushed here. support small buisness! they care!

The employees here are so friendly and knowledgeable and this place has a great selection of both animals and feeders! Good prices too. There is a slight cleanliness concern in the animals enclosures and a smell sometimes upon entering, but otherwise a great experience.

Just stopped in for the first time to see what they had for my jumping spiders and out of curiosity I wanted to see the spiders they had. The guy helping me wasn't the friendliest, then I saw a recent review and knew it wasn't just me. I'll continue to buy from people online where the spiders don't look like they're dying and the sellers are friendly.

We tried Scales n Tails and the place smelled like SEWER! We asked for help to get a few fish and the two male employees up front were rude and obnoxious! It took everything we had to keep from walking out! After numerous pathetic attempts to get the fish we wanted we finally gave up and said grab anything!! Way overpriced! in comparison......Oh well we saved a few fish :)

I do not recommend their expertise in regards to pet turtles. A year ago I brought mine and the suggested I give it crickets and it started to grow weirdly like it's beak since it had only eaten berries and lettuce for over 20 years. Last week I brought it back for them to trim its beak. After a few days I noticed blood and took it to a reptile vet who told me my turtle was very very sick and had to be put to sleep. What I want to know is why then did the store manager suggest I purchase products for my sick turtle and couldn't recognized my turtle was deformed and so very weak. They truly don't know about box turtles.

Stopped by this local reptile and aquatics shop because I was in the area. It was a nice change from the big box pet stores. Came in for some crickets and was surprised how reasonably priced they were. They had a pretty nice selection of reptiles, with some rarer species. I overheard one of the sales associates helping a customer and really liked what I was hearing. He was patient, knowledgeable and not overly salesy. I would definitely come back for any feeders and reptile supplies.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, and the wonderful people that work there. They are super super knowledgeable (almost like having veterinarians to consult with) and are professional, kind, and helpful in every way. By far the best place to go to for any of your needs that they serve. GREAT place.

The reptile and bird section is F up. Tiny enclosures and most of them are stressed.Otherwise the staff is so helpful and friendly.

This place is like the puppy mill of reptiles. Some of their reptiles are very sickly and still being cohabited. Pretty sure that Uromastyx is dead. Also, according to one of the employees the cages with receipts are animals being boarded, so I’m guessing they’re boarding people’s pets with their own stock? My stomach really sank when I saw a baby bearded dragon being cohabited with an entirely different species. DO NOT support this place PLEASE.

In all honesty I didn't go to the shop to buy any pets or pet supplies. I went with my son to see the pets. Lots of reptiles - some large specimens of snakes, which are amazing to look at.
