Terrible customer service. I was told they were washing the car and would be 10-15 minutes, 3 different times. Wasted 30-40 minutes. I finally had to walk outside to the garage and flag anyone down for some help, since the two folks at the counter were too busy talking about sex dungeons and checking thier Instagram pages. I ended up being late to an important meeting. No one inspected the car with me and when I asked if someone could - they just told me, "take it". The car was dripping wet - not washed, the inside of the windshield was filthy and when the car exceeds 40mph, I horrendous rubbing/howling noise comes from the right front wheel assembly. Just the worst experience on all levels.

Since zero stars is not an option, they get one star. Complete liars and thieves. Charged me double by claiming I kept the car an extra week. Tacked on fees that I declined when I picked up the car. Gave me a car saying it was a hybrid when it turned out to be an electric vehicle. Good luck finding a charging station in Arizona outside of Phoenix. They offshore their billing and complaint department, so good luck with them following through on anything.Don't even think that you'll be the one person who will have a good experience with Dollar. You won't.

Worst customer service, slow like a turtle and they have problem with every single persons reservation. Also for every single person to finish up its taking forever to finish . We booked a flight to get there earlier rather than drive couple hours and waited more than 2 hours in the line ! What a shame. Only 3 workers in the whole working place but 8 screens. When you have a business you hire more people to work! Greedy business. Never never again . If i could give 0 stars i would but there is no option for 0 stars.

The GM manager Adam or Jerk*** as we will henceforth call him was the rudest manager of anything I have ever met. Constant attitude. Rude to the bone right off the bat. Even after complying with everything he wanted for a rental he told me he still wouldn't rent me the car. Complete and utter scumbag do not give Thrifty or dollar rentals ONE DOLLAR of your money. Give business that are happy to help their customers money

Future Customers - BEWARE! Complete scam! I rented a car from this company for 2 days which I had already paid for up front. I returned the car 2 hours early on the return date only to get an email 2 weeks later saying they charged my credit card 495.00 for returning the car 8 days late - they even have me on camera and still charged me! Don’t use this company. I’m still in the process of disputing the charges! Nightmare

At the pick up the first car I got into has a tire that's low in air and the next one was due for a oil change so I had to drive it back to the pick up lot and get into the only car left, causing delay in my travel plans. The first and last time I'm renting from Dollar car rental

There are a ton of reservations for cars that have gone unfilfilled. They over booked and now we're waiting a few hours to maybe get our car. This is unacceptable. I know they know how to book a reservation, but they clearly don't know how to fulfill a reservation.

Dollar is the same as Thrifty, both are owned by Hertz now. Short line to check in, but they don't have any cars ready yet, for us or the people ahead of us. They need to wash cars still, promised 15min.45min later (after multiple times of my dad getting annoyed and asking for an update) our car is finally ready.Adding insult to injury, there's a line of cars 20 deep, queueing to slowly exit through a single gate. Each car somehow takes more than 5min to exit. Some cars don't move for 10min at a time somehow?? I don't understand at all. It took another 45min sitting in an idle car before we were finally on our way.

Had a reservation at 11 and apparently they are out of cars so was told to check back at 12:40. Not the way I want to be spending my weekend vacation. Not using this company again.

Exceptionally poor service at the rental desk. The incompetence there took 10 to 15 minutes to process each customer, while the competitors were sending them away in 3 to 5. With a line of six or seven customers it took an hour to get processed. But asked to work faster, the attendant first pretended not to hear, and then simply said sorry I’m the only one here. Avoid if at all possible. Many better options.

I waited in line for a hour and a half to get my car. There was only one employee working at the desk, and had ZERO urgency, despite the line of people being 20 deep! Because of this- it made me late to a job interview! Absolutely insane to wait that long to pickup a rental car at 10:30am on a Thursday!

Went to Burbank Airport after reserving via website. No one at station. No sign...nothing. standing there like a fool. Then someone in the hertz line (there were about 7 people in line there) yells that there is no one there and you need to come to the hertz line becz they service dollar as well. When I finally get to desk they say I need to go to fox because they bought out Dollar! When I go to Dollar, I told them they should of had a sign so people should know...he says there is a small sign at the desk! What? Should be a large sign pointing to Fox so we don't waste time. How would we as consumers know who bought out who?!!

Worst rental car experience EVER!! The Hertz company doesn't plan ahead...and problem-solving must not be a prerequisite for their employees. Ridiculous!!

Great price isnt always worth it. Making a reservation weeks in advance should give a rental car company at Burbank airport sufficient time to locate a car. The dozen people ahead of me and myself were told after waiting 30 minutes in line checking in that it would be another 30 minute wait for them to locate a car. I asked if they could could give car upgrades to speed the process and he told me to complain to the manager to get 50% off my next rental. Not renting here again.
