“As an Armenian, I shop at a lot of Armenian markets and most of them carry the same products that meet our needs. I normally wouldn’t leave a review for a supermarket, but this one truly stands out.

An apple is an apple! the difference here is the service. From the guys at the deli and butcher to the staff at the checkout, everyone is genuinely helpful and respectful. You can feel that customer service actually matters to them, and that makes a big difference.”

“I work next door to the nursery and I had a plant emergency lol. I had accidently knocked over my co-worker plant pot and completely broke it. Lucky for me all I had to do was walk across the street to the nursey and had Randy help me out and he was able to sell me a new pot and replant my co-workers plant! And I couldn't be so happy and he was a such a chill guy and was so nice and patience with my situation. I will go back if I have any dilemmas and need any plants or plant pots in the future.”

“I’ve been to the bakery at least 3 time by now, and while I haven’t tried everything they offer. The few items I have tried were EXTREMELY tasty. My favorite so far is the Oreo cinnamon roll for $4.50, but other notable items are definitely their cakes. Not only that but staff are super friendly, one of the times I visited a staff member and I had a friendly conversation which brightened my day. Some staff don’t speak a ton of English but I didn’t have any problems when purchasing any baked goods.”

“i go here every week, its a small hmart compared to other local ones, like the one in olympic mall, but it always has things i love to eat and the weekly sales are competitive. however sometimes they don't stock too much of something and it runs out very fast. i just wish theyd start sampling like they do in gaju market 💔”

“I love this little grocery store! It may be small, but they always have a great selection. The meat is super fresh, the fruits and vegetables are always top-notch, and their ready-to-eat meals are so tasty. It’s my go-to place for quality and freshness!”

“Visited the farmer's market @ city hall today during lunch break for Jury Duty. There are several food vendors offering a variety of cuisines including hamburgers, tacos, tamales, dim sum, Thai food, vegan options and aguas frescas. They have a few crafter booths, a coffee booth, bakery, nuts & preserves, honey and two fresh produce vendors from central California.

The Farmer's Market is only on Thursdays, though. They set out tables and chairs to enjoy your food/snacks. Thankfully most of the tables were in the shade on this HOT day.

If you are in the downtown area or in one of the court houses on Thursday, it's worth the visit.”

“The best authentic and local produce i have ever come by, everything tastes so fresh and doesn't include unnecessary packaging. Amazing place for weekly shopping, you know you're getting high quality food. It is also a very quick shopping trip, there is never any waiting because the workers are efficient. Armash Produce was also one of the first Armenian markets to open in the LA area back in the 90's.”

“I love this spot. It's family owned and operated and they always have fresh produce. They carry most basic necessities as well. Honestly it was my go to during the pandemic. Reasonable prices and friendly owners. I walk to the discount store in the same plaza for any other needs. Parking can get tricky during traffic hours, other than that this is my go to neighborhood market.”

“I recently picked up Walkerhill Kimchi from Hannam Chain and was really happy to find it here. The kimchi tasted fresh, flavorful, and reminded me of the authentic Korean kimchi I grew up eating. We enjoyed both the napa cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi with several meals, and they paired perfectly with everything from rice to noodles. Hannam Chain always has a great selection of Korean products, and I was excited to discover Walkerhill Kimchi during my visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Korean flavors!”

“I always have a great experience at Sherman Way Market Place. The customer service is amazing and the staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever you need assistance. They really care about their customers and it shows.

They always have very fresh fruits and a great selection of products. I also like their big variety of cheeses and the quality is always very good. Another thing I enjoy is their prepared food section with many options to choose from, including hot dishes and different salads, which is perfect if you want something quick and fresh.

Overall, I’m very happy with this market and highly recommend it for the fresh food, great variety, and excellent customer service. I will definitely keep coming back.”

“Nice small farmers market in the parking lot of a church, open on Saturday late mornings. Easy street parking close by. Not too many vendors, but some good fresh produce, food/drink options, and some craft vendors. Worth checking out.”

“Really cute market with friendly service and immaculate selection. However, caveat is that the items are quite pricey…I got a small box of raspberries for $8.50. I was also eying some strawberries but they were $20!”

“Shop at this charming storefront if you need a star ingredient. The produce is excellent, but be aware that these are not Von's prices: $8/lb for cauliflower; $5.50/lb for green zucchini. $8.50 for half a loaf of olive bread. I passed on the $22 clamshell of strawberries while clutching my pearls. The $10/lb heirloom tomatoes were some of the very best I've ever had. A decent shopping experience and the staff were nice enough.”

“My go-to on-the-run place for breakfast or lunch! From their sandwiches, to their soups, to their pizza, to their bacon and eggs, shakes and my favorite Matcha Overnight Oats, Erewhon is delicious!”

“I really like this place. It really weeds out the Larchmont poor from the patrons that don’t look at prices when they sit down to have a coffee.
Every bad review here complains about the prices. Do yourselves a favor and go have a cookie across the way if you cannot afford eat out.”
