The decor here is wonderfully put together and the patio dining area is very inviting with the fire pit. Evening dining is romantic at both tables and the bar area.Quite a happening spot in Downtown Burbank, daytime hours are only hindered by the lack of convenient parking in the area. Plan ahead and you'll be fine. Evening dining isn't much a problem. Street parking isn't too difficult. With so many examples following the ramen craze, southern California isn't short of restaurants to sample the many creations that are under ramen.Focusing on just the ramen, Jinya makes a crisp clean tonkatsu broth. It isn't heavy on creamy umami like other examples. It is lightly seasoned, and delightful. Noodles are pleasantly served al dente. Their style may fell quite different from what some maybe use to. For myself, I prefer a heavier broth as the tonkatsu broth is usually is.Ordering the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen was a little disappointing. The spice level was far from being the description. Also, some key ingredients that are usual were missing. A marinated egg is an option like many other items. The crispy fried chicken dish is absolutely delicious. It is fresh, crispy, and has some good size chicken pieces. This is a great dish to share if you came with friends to share. The poke bowl may require some work from their part. The amount of fish is a bit thin unless you wanted more salad than protein. The greens are plenty and a very healthy alternative. They have good vegan options and this is commended.

Just docking a star because I don't know what takes serving your order so long. Been to ramen shops in Japan with waaaay more people but serves up your order in 5 minutes or less. Staff are otherwise friendly and attentive.

Jinya Ramen was very accomodating for our huge group of 25. Would definitely go back!Dietary restrictions: It was great to be able to order exactly the base and toppings that worked around food allergies.

The food was delicious, and the service fantastic. The entire staff was very friendly and engaging. The greatest thing about the restaurant was the ambiance. The large fire pit in the middle made the dining experience that much better. We will be back.

Outdoor patio seating is nice even on colder nights. There's a warm fire pit in the middle and plenty of heat lamps all around. Very nice atmosphere to enjoy your hot ramen. Parking can be a bit of a challenge. Only street parking is available. Ramen is very good. Noodles are very firm. The pork bun was excellent!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Everything is on the ground floor.

Usually it's super busy here so I avoid it, but a chilly December evening was quite empty here! They have plenty of heat lamps and a fire pit for warmth. They have a small but neat selection of beer. They have added a lot more choices of ramen! It's pricey, but it's pretty good! Street parking is usually pretty full, but take one street over onto Alameda and there are usually plentiful of parking space.

While on visit to L.A we where looking for a highly rated restaurant and after our visit we now found out of the less than stellar quality of some of their employees that ruined the dinning experience for me and my partner. The treatment we received was that of personal frustration from our waiter Dylan who was extremely dismissive towards our simple request for which we would have gladly payed extra. Fortunately the manager was very understanding and recognizes the value of good service which we would also like to highlight. We hope that other customers have a way better experience than we did at this establishment.
