I can’t say enough good things about this shop! I was miles from home when my car started having issues, and to say I was panicked would be an understatement. VJ and his two sons went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and supported through the whole experience. They carefully diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and never once made me feel pressured or talked down to.
What really stood out to me was how compassionate they were. After having a full-blown panic attack in their lobby, they treated me with kindness and patience, making sure I had a safe way to get home. They even called around to multiple towing companies on my behalf just to help me find the lowest price, which is something most shops wouldn’t take the time to do.
As a woman, finding a mechanic I can truly trust has always been a struggle, but this family-run shop completely changed that for me. They made me feel welcome, respected, and cared for from start to finish. VJ especially took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car in a way that made sense and gave me peace of mind.
If you’re looking for honest, trustworthy, and genuinely caring mechanics, this is the place to go. They’ve earned every bit of this 5-star review and then some!

Quality service, affordable and fair price, and super fast turnaround time. A dealership was going to scam me over a grand for a procedure but J's was able to do it plus oil change for less than a quarter of that. Highly recommended

Honest, reliable, expertise . Jay and his son know their customers and service is great. It’s reasonable and you only pay for what you get. No upsell ever! And it’s so convenient being in the heart of Burbank. Highly recommend Glenoaks and Tujunga.

I've been a customer at J's Auto Clinic since I moved to Burbank almost seven years ago. They are honest, transparent, and I've never had any issues with my car after their maintenance services. Their prices are reasonable, and they consistently deliver high-quality work with professionalism and friendliness. As long as I live in Burbank, I won't go anywhere else. Kudos to you J's Auto Clinic!

I had been going to my trusted mechanic for over 20 years then things changed. Little adjustments that needed to be done were way too expensive over and over again. Then a friend told me about VJ and Jays Auto Clinic. I was floored to see how honest, professional and quick he was with repairs. Plus, he is such a nice person. He’s my new go to guy!

I had an outstanding experience at J’s Auto Clinic! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done on my car. Beware of these guys they lie. First he said $200 for manual transmission fluid change. I said I would bring the oil and how much would the labor be since the oil is $160. He said $150. Doesn’t make sense. Then he said the oil is not included. I said that is not what you told me in the beginning. You said $200 for the entire job. To update I had my brake fluid replaced by this place when I visited them back at the time of the review may I add that today I visited a much better mechanic and he showed me that the brake fluid was very dirty. I told him to replace it as he was pumping the new fluid in two hoses were clogged thanks to j’s auto because they never touched the brake fluid and charged me $125 now the fluid is too dirty it clogged the brake hoses

My car was stolen back in September. I got it back a few days later, but then at the beginning of November it was broken into again. (The curse of not having a parking spot in my apartment's garage.) In both instances, the car was left un-drivable. VJ fixed it both times. And although my car is on its last legs...its getting me where I need to go for now thanks to him. I appreciate that both times he allowed me to tow it to his lot and keep it there until we knew what we could do to fix it. He only made the repairs I approved, though he keeps me informed on what he would recommend. Even when I considered not fixing the car at all, he offered to help facilitate me selling it to a junk yard. But until I can afford to get something new, I'll keep bringing my current car to VJ when I need help.

Another great experience at the Auto Clinic: VJ and his team diagnosed the brake problem as soon as my Chevy was on the lift. Parts were ordered immediately and the car was ready when promised. Customer service at it's finest! Thank you!!!

These guys have earned my business for as long as I live in this area. Honest, fair, clean and transparent business. They had my trust within the first few minutes of communication. Accurate diagnosis, fair pricing, and they even went way out of their way to fix an issue that hadn’t been handled properly by a different shop. Thank you so much to VJ and all of the other guys!
