Overall I give this place a 3 stars. Their prices has gone up especially on their produce section. Their produce quality is not worth the price. Also, I always order food from there and the person who hands the food is NEVER friendly. The taste of the food for the price is great so I end up getting it but this time might be the last. I ordered three plates and asked for some salsa. He was unfriendly as always and gave me 3 salsas. One for each plate. When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes. These salsa looks half eaten or half filled! And he was so stingy about it too?! Come on! I don't think I'll be going back I really wanted to support this establishment....so sad.

If I could give minus 5 stars I would!!! We took a chance and ordered an assortment of their tamales for the holidays and had them delivered. Burnt dried out and absolutely unfit for human consumption!! Another establishment that totally rips you off and sees delivery as an opportunity to send PAST DUE FOOD!!

The freshly made Chilaquiles were good, the tortilla chips stayed crunchy even with the salsa. The pineapple/spinach drink was great and the freshly made tortillas smelled so good I had to buy a pack. There's minimal seating inside and not a long wait for the food.

The (store?) manager in here was such a pig to me on several occasions. It was a woman, OLDER, and would always get angry when I'd come in the morning and get beer. She criticized me for "drinking too early in the day" and "being a bum" cause she had to override something on the computer to do the sale in the morning. I explained to this pig woman that I worked graveyard shifts and the morning is like my night time, so I'm not "day drinking" like some deplorable like she imagined. The first time I explained this she groaned because I didn't just let her steamroll me with her nasty comment. I hadn't been in here for a while because literally no where else in the world has whined like a baby the way she did about what I'm buying. It was insane. I figured out who this woman was when I called the store direct to make a comment and the same pig woman answered the phone to tell me basically naner naner you thought you were gonna complain about me and you got me on the phone! Another day I'd come in and she would groan and said "wow again you're drinking this early???" I asked what her effin problem was always coming at me this way and she told me I'm nothing but a bum and I keep coming to her store to bother her and her employees. A 3rd occasion she said something else I didn't bother to tune into. I would call corporate on her actions, but I'm not the "target demographic" for Vallarta, as I'm not Latino, and I've gotten nothing but ambivalence from them about any issue I've ever had no matter now minor. If I have a question I get brushed off. Employees don't say hi or make eye contact to people who don't automatically look like they'd speak Spanish. This is the store you want to run I guess. I don't need a fireworks show to welcome me when I come in and I don't need help but when the store manager calls you a bum in front of everyone and makes it clear the company stands behind her and would agree then you better be glad you have security in your store or I'd cause an actual scene instead of letting this loser retail manager get her rocks off on insulting the public. All this because I literally came in like a normal customer, picked out an item from the store (that the manager decides she doesn't like), got in line like an honest person and wanted to buy it with money.

From time to time I purchase carne Asada meat for bbq nights at home. Their premium cut meat is good quality and they marinate it really good. Not sure about other meat products cause I haven't purchased anything else but carne asada. I also like getting cotija cheese and Mexican sour cream from here. It goes well with the bbq. Their produce department is pretty good as well with good prices on avocados, onions and much more. I always end up buying a few things from here too. They also have a small section of organic produce. The bakery area makes fresh tortilla every day, cakes, breads, etc.... They serve hot food if you want to have breakfast, lunch or dinner here ... a juice bar as well. Overall a great place to shop for Hispanic foods and products.

Horrible manager at Vallarta Burbank I always buy at this store been the closest to my house but this week had a nightmare experience while buying a half squash it didn't have a barcode so I called a supervisor and she told me the price was 00 I am like oh wow awesome but then she called her manager and the nasty rude manager refused to honor their own price and when I asked for her name she refused to identify herself I felt very treated by her aggressive attitude so I asked someone also but they told me she didn't want them to say her name so I left. So bad for their business to have these kind of people on manager position I will think twice before I go back there

This Vallarta isn't really my go to place for grocery shopping. I come here mainly for the restaurant and had ordered several items on their menu. I had tried the fish tacos, chilaquiles, stuffed pepper among other things. The place is always busy but service is fast. I love everything so far! I feel like I'm dining somewhere in Mexico as food tasted authentic. They even make the tortilla fresh in the store. This Vallarta stands out among other locations. It is bigger, very organized, and very clean.

This is our go to for great fresh produce which is fresh and good quality and often times much cheaper than its local competitors, If you are looking for genuine Mexican goods and produce you can't do wrong here Dessert, cakes, bread and plenty of sweet treats in between Butcher shop has all the Mexican staples including a great range of marinated meats ready for the grill You can grab a fresh watermelon water or horchata to keep you hydrated while browsing as well Plenty of prepackaged chilli e peppers and spines as well as a great range of fresh to buy by the lb Make your own tortillas get your supplies including the press here for your corn version , they also make fresh here on site as well , nothing like picking up a bag of flour tortillas still warm in the packet ! Service is great people are friendly and there is plenty of parking in the car park out front

We loved this Vallarta store. Thing it is a little larger than most Vallarta stores. It is very well lighted and very clean. The isles are wide and this makes us feel comfortable. We love the selection of tamales. So many types and fresh, during special seasons they even have pumpkin spice and fruit tamales. Produce selection is good plus you can find a few items not available in regular grocery stores. The selection of all products is good. In addition there is a customer bakery and two small restaurants inside the store. A fun and delicious place to go. It makes shopping fun.
