the vets “doctors” are rude, they don’t listen and used very harsh language about how “I created a monster” because my anxiety prone dog (toy poodle) developed separation anxiety, after enduring traumatic experience of flying cargo in a 15 hour flight when she was just four months old. to top that I’ve spent over $2000 dollars when my dog had stomach issues, they sent us home with antibiotics and NO ANWERS. I’ve only been going there for a year and because they ALWAYS have availabilities and the receptions are nice. I saw another review that I agree with, about how “one of the doctors tried to recommend a certain brand of food and they think they’re being paid under the table to market the brand.” they also charge a ridiculous amount for grooming and my dog looked like chubaca. anyway, I left because they’re always trying to charge me or sell me things and run toooooooo many tests to “make sure” so yeah, I don’t recommend this place.(attached a photo of my how they messed up a POODLE cut)

I always dreaded bringing my dog here, but no other vet in LA was accepting new patients for a long time.... The Vet would say the same thing every time and run the same tests every time no matter what my concern was (He wasn't listening) & now hearing about this "Grain-Free" lawsuit I'm starting to think he was getting paid by dog food brands under table - I now go to a new vet in LA and the experience is so refreshing.

This is hands down the best veterinarian hospital in LA! They saved my dog’s life with the right diagnosis and preventive care. Everyone in the staff is friendly, patient, attentive and knowledgeable. If you are looking safety and professionalism, this is the right place for you. If it wasn’t for the Rainbow team, my pet wouldn’t be alive, and I’m forever grateful. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve an infinite amount.

I Recommend everyone I know to Rainbow hospital due to the attentiveness of the staff and doctors. Both dogs I’ve owned have been under their care one passed last year in June. Diva, she always had so much love from everyone here. I couldn’t have been happier to have her under this pet hospitals care, for so long. Me and my family are extremely thankful to the staff and doctors here. We will forever be grateful.

Very friendly and easygoing. The staff are always happy to help with our pup. They constantly do their best to figure out what our pup needs. Their prices are transparent and very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting.

I’ve been taking our dog here for two years since we rescued him. One of the only good. Vets that don’t have an insane waiting list, easy to make appointments. I love the receptionists and the techs, they have showed extreme love and care for our pup. I really appreciate the time they take and the advice they give. Honestly, our best experiences have been with the support staff, who go beyond and beyond. In terms of the vets, the interaction so far has been minimal, but it’s made up by the care of everyone else in the office.

I recently visited Rainbow Veterinary Hospital with one of my cats who was experiencing health issues. I have been taking my two cats there for several years, but under new management, I found the experience to be disappointing.During my visit, I saw two different doctors who had vastly different approaches to my cat's condition. There was an older doctor who was honest and upfront about the severity of my cat's situation, including potential risks and complications associated with surgery. While it was difficult to hear, I appreciated his straightforward approach. He told us that by looking at an x-ray of my cat's abdomen he found a mass that is most likely cancerous and that my cat's intestines were very swollen. My cat had also lost half her normal weight. This older doctor later explained to me that an ultrasound or any further tests are not needed. It was a matter of if we decide to undergo surgery or not. If we did go with surgery he explained to me many complications with the surgery and there's a high chance my cat wouldn't survive.Ultimately it seemed as if without saying it he was implying that surgery would only be painful for my cat and it would be best to put her down if not her situation would only get worse. The second doctor I saw contradicted the older doctor's recommendations and seemed more focused on pushing for additional testing and procedures which the older doctor was against doing. He did not seem to consider the older doctor's assessment of the situation and appeared to be more interested in making money than providing the best care possible for my cat. If not for the assessment made by the older doctor, I wouldn’t have known how severe my cat’s case was or the many risks if we decided to do surgery but of course, the second doctor left this out to try and get us to do the surgery anyways. I found it odd as to why the second doctor seemed so inconsiderate and reluctant in trying to get money out of us, I later found out he was the new owner. After talking out our options I leaned more into the idea of not doing any surgery or tests due to the severity of my cat's condition then the owner said “Well you never know she can surprise us all” referring to my cat and this apparent cancer in her stomach. So once he got the idea that we were not interested in listening to his advice he tried to feed us false hopes to try and get us into doing useless tests and procedures which as stated by the older doctor would not help my cat in any way and can cause her more pain.Overall I am very disappointed with the current level of care and compassion I received during my recent visit. I would not recommend Rainbow Veterinary Hospital under its new management. While I'm thankful for the older doctor's assessment as long as the other doctor/owner is there I will no longer recommend this vet to anyone. It's important to find a vet that you can trust and feel confident in their ability to provide the best care possible for your pets and I do not feel this way anymore about Rainbow Veterinary Hospital.

Love my vet, I have been coming here for years. I bring both my dogs for their yearly check ups and I also get them groomed here. Front desk gals are always so welcoming and know my dogs very well.
