Pros:
-Safe location being away from downtown and homeless. They have a secure, gated parking area so you don’t have to worry about people breaking into your car. Quiet area.
-Pool, but should be maintained/cleaned more, there was a lot of debris on the bottom.
-Clean, updated room.
Cons
-You do not get any cleaning service during your stay unless you specifically ask 24 hours in advance, they do not mention this until you arrive.
- You get charged a $100 deposit in case there is damage. Again, they do not mention this anywhere on the website or over the phone. They have a tiny card at the front desk stating this when you check in, you likely won’t notice it until you get a surprise charge to you card once you get to your room.
- No complimentary breakfast, which was mentioned on their website.
- Had an ice bucket with no working ice machine.
-Ants in bathroom
-Water tastes like chemicals.
- Had a fridge with no microwave, also a common complaint. This is clearly a system they have going to make you spend money at their restaurant.
-Did not appreciate 2 housekeepers knocking on my door before checkout so they could make their shift move quicker. 2 within 5 minutes excessive.

This hotel puffs more than it gives. The rates v the service do not align. The bed and pillows are hard as rocks, no room service unless you request, 1 tiny bar of soap and 1 tiny bottle of shampoo fir 3 people, no coffee maker in the room, no complementary breakfast. Basically you were paying top dollar for a room with nothing other than a bed and shower. I have been to many hotels that at least have a coffee maker In your room and complementary breakfast for you. The staff there was very nice and polite, but that’s all you get for your money. I have been to so many hotels ahead of offered much nicer rooms, and extra amenities, for the money you pay but this hotel just seems to take your money just to give you a roof over your head for one night and that money is not cheap, It’s expensive. I just felt like they took our money and then dropped us without a care about our comfort and not being hospitable with their customers. I’m just blown away because every other hotel I’ve been to has at least a coffee maker in your room and complementary breakfast and I’ve actually paid a lower price for that quality versus what I paid here a much higher price for no service and no care in the world about their customers comfort. Never again.

I have stayed here many times in the pass 15 years. My last stay was not good. They told me for early check in is 65$ and without informing me they charged extra $35. The room had been upgraded but it’s Mediocre. The faucet was not working correctly. I stayed there for about 10+ days. The person above me left the water on in my room was all water. They offered to change my room, which was nice of them, but I had so much things to move out and it was my last day so I asked for a discount instead and they agreed. But then morning came and extended it for an extra day and I asked about that discount They promised me. But I guess they don’t honor what they say. Find a security guard at night is a weirdo.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed here twice, once at the beginning of a bicycle trip and the other a couple weeks later at the end of the trip. We had major logistical hurdles with our bicycles during both stays and the hotel management was there for us every step of the way, from allowing us to ship the bikes to and later from the hotel, to giving us a space to assemble and disassemble the bikes, to providing free shuttles to and from the airport, to letting us check out late, and to generally being the kindest, most supportive people ever. Thanks to them we were able to turn a bike shipping disaster into a fantastic bike ride between Big Sur and Los Angeles. We couldn't have done it without the folks at the Ramada. P.S. I know other reviewers didn’t like that the wastebaskets aren’t lined with plastic bags but I loved it – friendly to the earth!

Thank you to the hotel management for providing a clean and spacious room. Our stay went well, and we felt comfortable during the two days we spent there.
Just one small suggestion — it would be great if trash bins had covers or liners. I hope you don’t mind me pointing that out.
Other than that, everything was smooth and pleasant. Thank you once again

the parking is extremely stupid!
to leave you have to drive in reverse because of how the parking is done!
just look at it from googlemaps.
wifi is extremely slow and is constantly not working.
they won't clean your room even if you ask them.
They only clean it after you check out.

After engine trouble on the freeway, this hotel's parking lot was the first place we could get off the road.
The car only needed to borrow a parking space for approx 10 mins before the tow truck came for it and my husband. But my 4 kids and week's-worth of luggage needed to wait an hour for our ride, on an 85° day, during the hottest part of the day!
The lobby staff was very understanding and welcoming. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby, restaurant area (even though it was closed), and bathrooms. There was even a nice, well-stocked snack bar where I purchased us all bottles of water.
The hotel staff let us wait in the restaurant overflow section where we wouldn't have to worry about my 4 bored kids bothering anyone while I did my best to keep them quietly entertained as to not disturb guests or staff. And with a 4yo with no volume control, this was a challenge.
I want to thank these lovely staff members for their generosity. I hope we were not too much of a disturbance and showed respect to you and the area you were kind enough to allow us to wait in away from the heat.

It was an ok stay, if you need an affordable place to stay for a night it is Not in the best area though. If you want to park in the gated area make sure to park there early as there is not many spaces and it fills up.

This is a WONDERFUL little hotel...an oasis next to I5.
While, it's NOT a full service hotel from a major brand, it IS a *very* clean hotel with friendly and attentive staff, great parking accommodations (inside or outside the gated courtyard), and a surprisingly quiet interior.

This hotel was nice for what we needed. Everything was clean, we had plenty of room, nice pool, and parking that us enclosed and regular parking lot.
The only not cool part- the ice machine was right outside our room. At 6am, all you can hear is the slamming of ice- very annoying. Same if people were talking, you could hear word for word what they were saying in your room.

Let's start with the good. The rooms are clean, no smell. And friendly helpful front desk staff. But the rest is too much to list. Incredibly noisy, the place is pinned between the railroad track and the highway. Only food options are a snack area where a bottle of water cost $5.50, or a restaurant of sorts, that i also wouldn't recommend. All ice machines are broken. TV Incredibly small and incompatible with firestick, allowing only their basic cable. I would suggest any other place unless you were only looking for a quick, cheap get away with your secret partners

Came to town for my son's graduation. I never stayed in the area, but I was not let down. The staff was very nice, rooms clean, and I was even able to get my sister's room near me. Transportation was given. The restaurant on site was delicious as well
