Tran cashier has awful customer service skills. She did not greet or thanked me after ringing me up. When she handed me my change a couple dollars fell to the ground and she didn’t bother apologizing or cared to picked them up off the floor. Awful experience.Date 11/22 5:30pm

Prices are decent enough but the store is a mess. There were plants obstructing one of the produce aisles when I was there a few months ago and I had a bad fall while trying to navigate around them. Also, this location has great handicapped parking spaces but the only shopping carts are located halfway across the parking lot. It doesn't do much good to have good handicapped parking if your handicapped patrons have to walk halfway back into the parking lot to get a cart. I probably won't go back to this location anytime soon.

Me and my wife was in store we seen Jose stocking shelves and asked him for help he was very helpful and had very good knowledge of store and I might add great customer service and we appreciate his help

I don't get this location...and I know that's a weird way to start a review, but it's how I felt as I left. No carts available (literally zero: not in front of the store, the parking lot, or inside). Taking a basket, it limited my shopping. Very cramped inside, though the shelves were organized. Going to the registers (with a lot less than I planned to buy because I can only carry so much in here) 7 people were in front of me for the 1 register open. A guy maybe twice my age has 3 big boxes of stuff in his arms because it wouldn't fit in a basket. After a while, someone else shows up to open another register, all with the warmth of an agent at a border crossing. There is nowhere to bag items in these lanes and having them do so was too much (apparently), so I did it myself. She spoke the total and that was it. Upon leaving, another shopper asks, "where are the carts?" My checker said "I found one in the back - I put it over there (pointing)." How helpful. Food is there, so I'm guessing S&F corporate knows the location is still open. (And hey, they had the sangria I prefer, so there's that) But when a store goes out of their way to make it HARDER to shop there...well, I don't get it.

I would give this Smart and Final Store 471 location 0 stars. Stopped by this store at approximately 435pm today. I decided to add a bag of ice to my purchase. Amanda, my cashier and the manager of this location in Burbank, directed me to "get the bag out of the cooler on the end, it was the only door unlocked." I did as directed. In 2 seconds Amanda comes running out yelling, " thats a large bag!" I look at her perplexed, as I had done as she directed....I stood there watching her checking through the other coolers. She saw for herself there was no distinction and only one size bag of ice in the coolers and some melted. I stood there feeling dehumanized by the manager, Amanda. She saw for herself everything was melted and unusable and the only bags in the cooler were one size. She also stated to me " if you come here, then you should know there are two ice bag sizes." Wow. I ask for a refund. She begins the process then abruptly stops and quite mean-spirited asks the adjacent cashier to do it. Store manager Amanda, was dismissive and quite agitated. The cashier, Celestine, says she needs the receipt. I walk back to my vehicle to get the receipt so I may get my refund for the ice. I ask for the number and address for the corporate office. Amanda storms out of the office and approaches me while receiving my refund from Celestine. Amanda in a highly disrespectful tone, starts to quote the number quickly; so fast I had to ask her to repeat it. She did so in a huff. She also stated she didn't have the address for the corporate office. I love this community and like spending money and contributing to my community, however, this experience today at Store 471 with store manager, Amanda has lead me to one conclusion... myself, my company will never patronize this store again. I called corporate and I'm awaiting a response. Hope this was helpful to you.

Awful store. Awful customer service. Blond employee petting a dog while handling customers groceries. Leaving register unattended. I’ve given this store many chances as it’s walking distance from home, but my experience gets worse every time. Time to say good bye and shop at Target. At least there, employees acknowledge you.

I come here weekly to make purchases of more than $700 and the cashiers always have an attitude.They get bothered by large purchases I guess because it takes more effort for them. Really considering just taking my business somewhere else. Especially the young man with the blond hair here on Friday nights.
