WHAT IN THE WORLD MAKES A BUSINESS THINK THEY CAN CONDESCEND A 55 Y.O. ADULT MALE THE WAY JAY DID AND EXPECT TO SELL PEOPLE ANYTHING?! WOW! JAY WAS MY 1ST AND ONLY CONTACT. AND THE LAST EVER WITH THAT PLACE!. CONDESCENDING; SUPERIOR; TERRIBLE ATTITUDE ALL AROUND; RUDE AND DEMEANING ALL IN ONE; THE FULL PACKAGE. YOU ARE A CAR SALESMAN, JAY! DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR CUSTOMERS IF YOU DO NOT LIKE YOUR JOB! IF THIS GUY DOES NOT LIKE HIS, HE SHOULD CHANGE JOB! UNBELIEVABLE!! WORST ATTITUDE EVER! PATRONIZING AND CONDESCENDING! AGAIN, HIS NAME WAS JAY. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE. IN 2025, WITH THE INTERNET, IT IS SLEAZY RUDE SALESMEN LIKE THAT THAT ARE CAUSING THE CAR DEALERSHIP BUSINESS TO SLOWLY FADE AWAY AND DIE. I recently purchased my 2017 BMW X1 from Stellar Auto Inc I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From the very first interaction, the level of professionalism, courtesy, and genuine care I received was absolutely outstanding!!!

I ordered a pre purchase inspection. Inspection came back with over 6k in repairs. Place of inspection told me that the rep who dropped the car off from Stellar Auto, acted as though he was the one purchasing the car. He wanted the report to be sent to him not me, all in all super shady. Gentleman I was speaking with from Stella Auto proceed to curse me out on the phone when I told him that I wanted to go over the results with the mechanic who inspected my car. I would never purchase a vehicle from here and warn anyone who would consider it.

Do not trust these crooks. Shady as can be. They give used car salesmen a bad name. Nothing but problems, and when contacted about the problems, they ignored and threatened. The warranty they sell is worthless and can’t be cancelled. I wish I could give a 0 star rating.

I had a positive buying experience with Stellar. I did see the good and bad reviews before my purchase and it did give me concern especially as I was an out of state purchaser. Some of the negative reviews I saw involved loan issues in which I have no opinion because I made my purchase with cash. I would like, however, to address the following three things: anti-theft fee of $699, Stellar’s way of doing business & honesty.
First the anti-theft fee of $699, is it necessary? What I do know is that it is typical for car dealerships to charge a document fee of anywhere from $200 in Washington to $599 in Arizona. Stellar did not charge a document fee but only the anti-theft fee instead. As for the anti-theft fee, it is my understanding that it is to protect Stellar’s car inventory from theft in their lot. It seemed legit to me. They then pass on the cost to the buyer similar to the document fee charged by other dealerships with the added benefit to the customer in which the anti-theft protection policy remains in effect with the vehicle for I believe 5 years.
Second as far as Stellar’s way of doing business, they operate unlike any car dealership that I have experienced. Stellar happened to have a relatively rare car that my daughter really wanted so my way of dealing with Jay from Stellar was to be patient and work with him. They are a small business and I think that it is not easy keeping up with things. It seemed to me that Jay was trying and at times was “behind on things” but in the end he got things done. So with some patience and understanding, I ended up a happy customer.
The third point is to the question of whether or not Jay is honest. Car dealers didn’t get a bad reputation by accident. Although none of us are perfect, in the “grand scheme of things,” I did find Jay to be honest. It was Jay that recommended that I purchase a Pre Purchase Inspection. I followed his advice and used the services of Future Auto Service. I was glad that I took Jay’s advice as the results of my vehicle’s condition were good and I was very satisfied with the professionalism of Future Auto Service. The Pre Purchase Inspection gave me peace of mind with my purchase as much as can be expected because even with new cars there are no guarantees.
In conclusion buying a car from Stellar was a “whirlwind” of an experience which resulted with my daughter and me as happy customers who ended up really appreciating Jay’s service.

Purchased a 2004 Toyota 4Runner and it was a smooth experience. Jay is a great guy and knowledgeable. He was assisting another buyer when I arrived but he acknowledged me and let me take a look at the 4Runner and test drive it while he finished up. Getting approved and settled with the bank loan was no issue and the vehicle has been phenomenal since the purchase. Highly recommend!

These guys are solid, I watched them work hard at the auction this morning bidding on great cars. Owning a dealership myself I know that every low review out there that there are at least 20 good ones that never made it online. I think they will be a great dealership to buy a car from and look forward to watching them grow. Good luck guys

Service seemed fine, Jay was informative and polite, however, be aware of being trapped in fees. We spent 3 days going back and forth from to the dealership (1 hour to 1.5 hour drive each way) to get a used rav4. On the second day, we thought everything was settled and ready, filled out all the paperwork, thought everything was taken care of, was given the keys and sent on our way. Only about 30 minutes later we get a call from the dealership that the auto loan DIDNT go through but we were told we can come back in a few days to fix this as we had already driven halfway home with the car and the credit union near us would be closed for the day. We call our credit union to get more info and they literally told us to take our money and run. So we had to take the vehicle back immediately the next day to cancel our contract. California does have laws in place that when we drive the vehicle off the lot it is ours with no take backs, unless we cancel within two days with a cancelation contract. We read and understood this in our contract. HOWEVER. Stellar Auto FAILED to call our credit union to confirm the loan like they were supposed to BEFORE we were allowed to walk out and take the vehicle home. So they didn't call to check until it was too late and we were trapped into having to pay a restocking/contract cancelation fee. While the price was lowered, we should not have had to pay anything at all as this was not our fault at all and was the result of this dealership. If we had not have been able to return within the two day window, we would have been absolutely screwed with a vehicle we couldn't afford due to our loan not going through, not to mention if we had known before walking out with the keys we never wpuld have signed the contract. Very sketchy actions on this dealership. Do not recommend buying from here. Also this car being sold had incorrect mileage reported and while this was fully disclosed, it was not explained to us how the amount of mileage difference almost made this car a SALVAGE car.
Update 6/4/25: We just called them to see if they would be willing to negotiate and do the right thing and give us our money back for the cancelation fee, but he refused and instead blamed us for not making sure he did his job. Be careful buying from here.

My wife and I had an excellent buying experience here at stellar auto. Jay was super helpful walking us through the process and answering all of our questions. I had great experience with Jay and the staff at Stellar Auto. I bought a 2004 Ford Thunderbird. The car was in excellent for its age & had very low mileage. The process was quick and easy. Jay had the vehicle shipped to me in Las Vegas at a reasonable price. I have suggested to my friends to check out Stellar Auto if they're looking for a reliable car.

BIG THANK YOU TO JAY and Vlad! Experience with our purchase was smooth. I searched for the perfect Lexus convertible for months. I went to 3 other dealerships. The service was excellent here at Stellar. Had to make an appointment which makes sense when you are a family ran business.
Vlad was super helpful and patient. What I appreciate about this dealership is the inventory and quality vehicles. Safety is above all here. They allowed me to take the vehicle for a pre purchase inspection and it ended up needing non essential repairs, but for a 15 year old vehicle, it's a given.
They made us feel welcomed and appreciated here even though there were many other customers at the same time.
Thank you Jay and Vlad for making our purchase as easy as possible.
P.s we had a small hiccup and Vlad made sure to provide stellar solutions. This is a true example of customer service and top notch service. Recommend them to everyone I know.
