Tanya (slim lady with frizzy hair, maybe from Middle East region) was the worst cashier I've ever experienced at any target. She was so rude when I had a few separate transactions (for business reasons I needed seperate receipts) and she kept rolling her eyes, scoffing and just had a horrible attitude. She told me rudely I was going to get the 5% discount whether it was one transaction or many, which had nothing to do with why I was doing the separate transactions. She told me she had been with me over 20 minutes which obviously it had not been. It was from 8:41pm to 8:48 pm. Like uhm why does it matter how long you've been checking my items out for in the first place? If you don't want to be a cashier then that's a separate issue apart from me. I told her that her attitude was bad for a cashier and she said she had been with me for too long....Target needs to do a better job at hiring staff with decent customer service skills. Tanya, please do better or just quit if you hate your job that much.

Cannot shop here. Used to go here for face and body cleansing products. Now they've put almost everything behind a locked case. You cannot look into the products without asking a staff member to unlock and open the different cases. The staff members are totally uninterested in opening the cases so that you can look into the products. They act like you are bothering them when you ask. And you might need to look at and compare multiple products, and they act like you are bothering them when they have to unlock just one single case. This is not a situation that is going to work.

I like their stores. And most employees are nice and helping. But not all of them. They sometime give you the feeling that you are bothering them when you are asking a Q. Good prices, big store, alright service...

Extremely poor customer service and unprofessional behavior that I experienced at the Target store in Burbank Empire Center on 12/31/23. The incident occurred when I attempted to return a Nintendo Switch, and we were accused of attempting to return a product with mismatched serial numbers by the store manager, Martha. Upon my attempt to return the Nintendo Switch, I was shocked to be accused of an attempt to return a product with mismatched serial numbers by Martha. Furthermore, she called security to support her claim, and they also asserted that the serial numbers did not match. This unjust and baseless accusation was deeply upsetting and embarrassing for me as a loyal customers of Target. Subsequently, I was advised by security to return the Nintendo Switch to the Target store in Eagle Rock, from which we had originally purchased the item. This was an inconvenience and caused us unnecessary distress. Upon arriving at the Eagle Rock store and discussing the matter with the manager, it became apparent that Martha had incorrectly verified the serial number. The manager at the Eagle Rock location clarified that Martha had only looked at the serial number of the base and not the electronic unit to verify the product, which led to the misunderstanding. In addition to the mishandling of the situation, I must express my disappointment with Martha's unprofessional and rude conduct throughout the entire ordeal. Her lack of respect and empathy towards us as customers was evident and it is unacceptable for a manager to treat customers in such a manner. As a result of this incident, my family and I were subjected to undue stress and inconvenience. We were falsely accused and made to feel like criminals in front of other customers, and then we had to go through the hassle of rectifying the situation that was caused by the negligence of your store manager. I request that appropriate action be taken to address this matter and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Additionally, I would appreciate a formal apology from Target for the distress and inconvenience that we endured as a result of this incident. I trust that you will investigate this matter thoroughly and take the necessary steps to ensure that such unprofessional conduct does not recur in any of your stores. I hope to receive a prompt response to this complaint.

Overall shopping experience is good. But the restroom looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Do they not have a cleaning crew???

Everything seems to be bigger here in Burbank even for Target, located in a large shopping center right next to other stores, I got a bit overwhelmed here, just more stuffs to check out and I guess more spending for me at the end, a lot of their toys were somewhat untouched for no reasons at all, like last week Thanksgiving didn't wipe out the place, but I have to definitely make my stop here again if I am in the area.

They've changed the layout of this location so many times, it's never the same ecpieence. With that being said, I do live super close to this one so I'm here at least 3-4 times a week. It's bad but, I'm so forgetful that I'll forget one or two things every time and need to go back. I feel like the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality that you get. They're always introducing new items. Expanding the anime section which I really like. I get anime shirts from here all the time and quality is good. I like the makeup section too but, there's an ulta a couple feet down so, I won't bother getting it here. Store is always clean, the staff I've spoken too have all been pretty nice. I'm sad they got rid of the Pizza Hut in the food court, legit had the best margarita pizza. I used to work at this location so, I can't say anything too bad about it. Pro tip, I've been finding that if I place the order online and come to pick up, I spend less overall. Be warned, you will come for one thing and end up leaving with 100$ less in your pocket

To start, I have been going to this Target location for the past 1 almost 2 years? I've never had an issue until my most recent visit in the morning. Honestly would've given this a 5 star, but after my recent encounter, I'll just deduct 1. So, long story short I go to this target every other Saturday mornings. I usually go to either self check out or the cashier depending if any is available and quickest Ofcourse. So, I went to self check out since there was no line at all. I guess they put up a new rule that customers may only use the self-check out if it was 10 or less items. I was not aware of that new rule and probably didn't even see the signs before checking out. The lady that was in charge of that area, abruptly stopped me and my husband from checking out and started raising her voice when she noticed we had more than 10 items in our cart. It was my mistake and I understood the new policy added and kindly responded back with an apology and continued my way checking out using the self check out because my husband was doing 1 transaction and I was doing another because we wanted to do 2 separate transactions because we had 2 different arrangements to purchase - mind you we still didn't know about the new policy that was placed, but nevertheless we were still somewhat checking out 10 items or less because we split our transactions - with 2 different purchases AND 2 different payment methods. I responded back to the lady in charge of the self check out - mirroring her same energy she was initially giving me. I walked away and went to the cashier that was available. LUPE, I remember seeing her a lot of the times when I get checked out. She is the most kind and understanding employee I've engaged with. Customers look for LUPE. Employee's learn from her. She understands the values the company is trying to give customers. I vented to her about my recent encounter I had with the lady in charge of the self check out and she apologized for her behavior and understood both situations. I wasn't aiming for someone to side with me at all, just someone to understand that yes I made a mistake and yes she was rude for raising her voice at a customer and being rude. But after being serviced by Lupe at the cashier I totally forgot about my rude encounter I had the the lady in charge of the self checkout.
