I can’t say good things about Trew Audio. I contacted several shops regarding microphone repair, but this business really stood out. Michael Russo helped me out with my Neumann mic, and he went the extra mile. I was so impressed how quickly he solved my issue. His professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness were exceptional. I’m so glad that I know where to go if I ever have any kind of audio issues in the future.

Their website show in stock status, so I placed an order. I didn't get an email confirmation. They had to verify the credit card by asking me for ID, back and front of the card, fill out and sign an authorization work. But it turned out the item was actually in back order. I wonder if this website is a scam.

Items never in stock. Cables they create are poor quality (have to wiggle wire to make things work), their repair of the dpa lavs was laughable and we just had to throw them away, and the rentals are priced higher than location sound with rental markups on essential items like the adapters for the lavs.

I purchased 3 Sanken Cos-11d mics and a few accessories all at once. I had them for 2 days before TWO broke at the connector. I called in to the store and was upset because I have never had cables break like this and supposedly these mics are very strong and can take a beating. I was informed by Kelly that he would get them repaired free of charge since it happened so quick, not to mention it was within 3 hours of using them on set. After sending the mics back, they called and said I now had to pay for the repair. Completely backing out of the promise and expectation that was made to me. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars from Trew audio and I was genuinely upset that they went back against their word. Kelly handed me off to the manager Rob who basically told me to "F" Off. He never once apologized for Kelly promising me something that he had no business promising. He never once tried to make amends or save me as a loyal customer. Then after 25 minutes or so on the phone in a very snarky way he says "the repair is only 65$". ALL OF THIS FRUSTRATION for a 65 dollar repair. The point I make is that as a customer if your employee promises or assures a customer something, that word is bond. Discrediting my frustration, telling me to ask any "Professional" audio person (which is insulting since they assume I'm not a professional), and NOT standing behind your word as a business is upsetting and not good practice. I will NO LONGER host their product links on my Youtube, Tik Tok, or Instagram. This is why companies like B&H are the best. They understand how to take care of customers. They don't belittle them, and they acknowledge when they made a mistake and CORRECT IT! This order I am referencing was about $1400. A complete distrust and brand reputation RUINED over miscommunication from them and measly $65 repair. ROB- if you see this, as a manager you should ensure that ALL of your employees understand the processes and procedures and NEVER make promises that can't be kept. This will prevent any future upset customers. I will now take my business to Gotham Sound, Sweetwater, B&H and Adorama. I've never felt more disrespected and UNHEARD as a customer before in my life.

They used to be amazing. Their return policy, false advertising and items never being in stock has made this store irrelevant to bhphotovideo.com, location sound, etc.

I dropped off my mic to have it cleaned after a batter leak at their Burbank, CA location. The service guy Russo was rude and condescending and quoting me an unreasonable price for the clean up. Even though I left it with him and gave him my info. He never reached out about the status of the repair. When I called I got the run around from Jose saying "I'm in sales not service." Additionally I was met with a rude female employee several times. Very rude phone manners and leaving me on hold for unreasonable amount of time. I have done a lot of business with Trew Audio before, but I can no longer if this is the lack of professionalism I'm getting from their employees.
