Love playing the lotto and they actually have quite a few good winners at this liquor. The indian people that work here are friendly but i would not recommend redeeming your winners here. Had a $12 winner from a fantasy 5 ticket yesterday and a $10 winner on a scratcher totaling up to $22 so I was expecting to use that for more draw games. The young indian guy gave me my $10 credit but ended up charging me a full $14 for everything and not giving me the small prize amount from fantasy 5 I was supposed to only owe $2 for the whole transaction, I guess the language barrier might be the only downside for this place. :(

Worst customer service. I'm going to echo what another reviewer said and that's basically why would I go try and support a small business when the owners are rude and clearly just care about your money. I will never shop here again!

We were bicycling in the area and I stopped by to purchase our office pool Lottery tickets. The store offers a good variety of different products even including a toy section. The cashier was nice and took care of the many ticket transactions I requested.

When I visited my Daughter, my son in law and grandson I had a day to myself so I set out on an early morning walk stopped by a famous food place on magnolia and Hollywood way and ventured to a craft store in the neighborhood as well as a few thrift stores and before I knew it the day was gone and I needed to get headed back to their apartment. I stopped in this store to purchase a bottle of water. The owner and his wife were so kind. I explained that I was walking and really didn't realize how far I had gone. They were kind enough to give me directions and information on the bus line to get me home if I opted not to walk (it was a pretty hot day). I will always remember their kindness and will go back again when I visit Burbank.

You can't sell tobacco more than set prices. I hate businesses like this. That is why I mostly go into 7 Eleven.

People who own small businesses complain about competition with large chains, but one of the reasons people go to large chains is because there are standards regarding how customers should be treated, spoken to, etc. In other words, manners. In places like this, they don't say hello, thank you, have a nice day m, or anything else. It's obvious all they care about is your money. That's why people don't go to small businesses like this. And that's why I just shop there for the last time today.

I've gone here a few times actually and it's kind of always been the same. Good selection of a variety of things but today just irked me more than usual.
