Review for Julie Halpin and Lana Pierce I'm compelled to write this review because I want to warn other potential buyers/sellers so that they do not have a terrible experience during a time that is already so stressful. Please take the time to interview and select a realtor that is there to support you and have your best interest in mind, and not their financial gains. Buying a house should be a time of joy and excitement - my husband I have been working very hard to save so that we could get a house for our kids. Our experience with Julie Halpin and Lana Pierce was extremely unpleasant - they cared only about their best interest and did not treat us with respect. My husband and I had been searching for a home in the peninsula area for weeks, using our good friend, a realtor based in SF. One of the listing agents we met at an open house recommended that we get a local agent instead of using our SF friend - said that the local agent could then give a referral fee to our realtor friend who had been helping us. A friend gave me Julie Halpin's info because she was local - I met with Julie and explained our situation - without me asking, Julie offered to give our realtor friend a referral fee in the event that we purchase a house with her. I felt much better about switching to a different realtor from our friend (who had helped us tremendously already), knowing that he would still receive some benefit. After working with Julie for a week, we were not very satisfied - she never tried to understand exactly what we were looking for and when putting in an offer on a house that we had already seen prior to meeting her, she was sloppy - did not inform us when she submitted the offer and forgot to include the cover letter I had written (which I learned when I asked her to forward me the offer submission). We did not get that house and we were planning to search for a different local realtor, but then Julie showed us another house that same day that we liked enough and put in an offer -it was accepted so we were now in contract with Julie as our agent in purchasing a house (this was after one week of working together). During closing, I informed Julie that we were going to use our SF realtor friend to list our condo after we close on the house. She then rescinded her offer to give a referral fee to him because she said she was under the impression that she would get to represent us on the sell-side - although this was never discussed during our meeting. I was very upset with her for going back on her agreement - she knew she would never have gotten my business if she had not offered the referral fee - and now that we were in contract, she wanted to keep everything - close to $50K - referral fee would've been 25% of that amount. Given the situation, I reached out to Lana Pierce, her broker/manager. Lana was rude and insulting towards me - only wanted to defend Julie and did not care to understand my side. She kept saying that it was a broker to broker issue and that I should not be involved. After the closing, I sent them both another email inquiring about the referral fee and they did not respond back at all. I am so appalled by the whole situation, so shocked by their lack of professionalism, and hurt by their unscrupulousness. Buying a home is a very big event. I wish I had taken the time to find someone honorable instead of working with the first local agent that I met with. What should have been a time of celebration for me and my family has been one of great disappointment.

Stopped by for some help, staff rude! Don't bother! Listed that they had a notary, asked said did not know and the person would be in the back, did not want to walk back to ask, I guess I expected some service, if I looked for a realtor t I would look somewhere else!

****Review for Dante Razzini**** My sister and I were faced with selling our mothers home after she suddenly had to move to assisted living. We needed to sell quickly. And we needed to get a good price for mom to be able to live comfortably for the rest of her years. We can't say enough about our agent, Dante Razzini. Dante understood all of our issues. He was professional and compassionate the whole way through the entire process. He knew we needed a quick and profitable sale and understood the emotions we were feeling, as this had been the family home for 43 years, built by our father. From helping us understand what we needed to do to get the house ready for sale, to helping us understand all of the paperwork, he walked us through the process. He arranged and was present for all of the inspections. Since the house was unoccupied, he made numerous trips to keep an eye on it. He made beautiful fliers showcasing the homes best features. This was a difficult house to price, as there were no good comps, but Dante worked hard to get it right, and he did! We had immediate multiple offers that Dante navigated us through and the house closed in 29 days! The closing was easy and Dante was there through the whole process. Dante's excellent communication and advice was invaluable for my sister and I during this very difficult transition. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate agent who is experienced, honest and willing to go the extra mile to represent you when selling or buying a home.

****Review for LANA MORIN PIERCE**** It is always a challenge to find the right agent. If you are looking Lana Morin Pierce is worth a try. Lana from day one was always on top of things. I love that she would make an appointment and be there not only on time but always early. She always dressed sharp and prepared for what was needed of her and because of it she has a great reputation among her peers, lenders and any of her clients. The process from listing to escrow was about 30 days. We are greatly appreciative of Lana but if it wasn't for the right agent it may have not been as smooth. Lana goes above and beyond for her clients and anyone who picks her as an agent will not go wrong. Lana gets the job done. She will fight for the right deal for you. She has what it takes to help anyone who gives her that opportunity. I would recommend Lana as an agent to sell your home or even to buy. Check out her Bio.

Bobbi Decker of intero has been our Real Estate 'security blanket' when we were settling our Mom's estate. She went far beyond what anyone could expect. It was an extremely difficult process as I live out of state and this was a sudden unexpected event. What a relief to have someone that was there for us. She was very organized, knowledgable and never seemed to tire out. She had connections to help inspect, repair and get any job done quickly and efficiently. She had all paperwork ready and took care of everything. She was continually in contact and we were always up to date with everything. All questions/inquiries were answered immediately. We were never in doubt of anything going on. I cannot say enough of not only her skills and experience, but more than that she is an honest concerned realtor who does sincerely care about her clients. I appreciate all she has done and cannot express how fortunate our family was to have her to handle our real estate sale.
