I opened an online CD and remember there was a branch near where I was going shopping. Thought I go drop off a check to fund the CD. Walking into the branch, I did not see anyone at a desk. There was one person at the counter with another person standing behind him. I asked whether I can deposit a check for the CD and handed over a page I printed after opening the account. He said the online account was BMO Alto so no. I asked why and he said you getting a higher interest rate and have to do it online. Good to know, its like they are not the same Bank. I probably missed seeing online that I couldn't go to a branch. The person at the branch was not friendly or offered what BMO bank can offer. The person behind him who was either a supervisor or trainee was the same. First impressions are everything. I won't be coming back.

I had an excellent experience with Mina, the bank manager this past November. I had just opened a new account online and this was my first time visiting any BMO bank in person or having an account with them. When I walked in, I was super cranky and frustrated, ready to take all my money out because of all the problems I was having via the 1-800 number, online and not being able to use my debit card or access my account. Mina was extremely polite, professional and went above and beyond to help me, even calling the BMO 1-800 customer service representative and talking to them himself. Mina’s customer service was impeccable. When I left the bank, thanks to Mina’s help, I was able to access my BMO account and money. I haven’t had any problems since with my BMO account. I would highly recommend this location on Burlingame.

I don’t know why this branch is still open! The Branch manager is a total nut job! Very disrespectful and simply thinks that this place is some what a third world country bank. Very condescending demeanor during an exchange over the phone. People like him is the reason why this bank is rated the top worst bank in 2022! Very unprofessional. I’d avoid doing business at this location. This bank if trash! No one wonder they got bought out my BMO! I hope BMO is devising a way to have more professional employees rather than having a nut job of a branch manager! The assistant manager is cool tho! Very professional.

I opened an checking account any deposit no service charges but they charged me even though my social security was deposited directly they still charged me $ 10.00 service charges the first time I conceded it a mistake but they did it again and again so I closed my account I don't advise dealing with this bank

This branch is the absolute worst, and the branch manager Mina is super rude and treats people like trash. He refuses to help me and says stuff like “if you don’t have an account with me then you’re not my customer, and I won’t help you”. Nick, the assistant manager, on the other hand, is alright and more willing to help. But overall, I think the branch’s manager says a lot about the way it treats its customers, and this is the reason why I ended up not opening an account with them. I think Mina does not deserve to be a manager here.

The branch manager, Mina, is absolutely terrible. I went there to dispute a charge, and he made me wait for almost an hour. During this time, one of the bank tellers told me that he is busy, but I can see that he is just sitting there and drinking coffee. After he finally finished his coffee and let me talk to him, all he said was that because I'm not his PERSONAL client, he is unwilling to help me out. His exact quote:"I don't have to help you. You're not my client, and I don't care about you. I don't have time for you."I waited for an hour for him, and he doesn't even want to hear my concerns for 5 minutes. He knows that he doesn't personally benefit from helping me, so he is not willing to spend any time on me. The entire time Mina was extremely rude and dismissive, saying stuff like "go to someone else" and "I don't have time for you" multiple times.When another bank teller said something on the side (trying to help), Mina dismissed her and said "mind your own business". Later she told me that Mina always behaves like this, and is really rude to people who are not his personal clients.The associate branch manager, Nick, was the only person who was willing to help me out. Although he did not have the ultimate authority to resolve the issue, his behavior was in stark contrast to the branch manager's.AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COST (Mina in particular)

The branch manager Lorraine is one of the worst I've ever deal with. She email us for some documents which we provided and I keep asking her if she needs any updates. She never responds. However couple of weeks later I found out they actually closed our business account without notifying us. I called and she keep saying well I email you a couple of months ago and I told her I never got the email and once I received the letter I contact her right away and submitted the docs she needed. She never respond back to my email. I asked if Bank of the West still want our business since we've been using them since 1993. Her responds is YES We don't want your business. I advised anybody that have a business account to think twice before using them. They apparently are doing so well that they don't need customers. The customer service is soooooo bad if I could give them a - I will.

On multiple occasions, i've gone to this location and waited in line for a very long time because for some reason they only have one teller working just to hear that their system is down and they can only do straight deposits. Never did it occur to anybody working there that maybe they should put a sign out front that says their system is down so people don't waste their time in there. Not only that this is the only location that I know of that isn't open on Saturdays, I realize that banks aren't open for very long on Saturdays but they're at least open for an hour or two but not this one. They only work the same Hours that the rest of us are working and can't go to the bank. Corporate would be doing it self a favor by closing this location down
