Priviet, Zukas! This place has a lot of great Russian/Slavic treats and some middle eastern items. Honestly, I would like to see more. It's a little bit on the pricey side so don't expect to get a deal. This is more for specialty items you can't find a lot of places so it's understandable they have to import them and raise price a little. Cashier is Olga. She is Ukrainian lady and I always get to practice my broken Russian with her and then she always asks me where I'm from and I always repeat same "ya meksikanskaya amerikanskaya! Lol

We use to loveee this place until one day we saw the employee that usually rearrange the veggies and fruits, opening the blueberries touching them picking them out of the container ( im guessing he was taking out the bad ones ).Like what on Earth he probably did that with the rest of the raspberries and blackberries . They’re already so expensive and he taking out and not weighing them is just mind blowing while his hand goes through THE WHOLE CONTAINER!!!!!

We used to shop here all the time. We appreciated the fresh produce….until we once bought cherry tomatoes. They looked fine on top but were moldy inside. We spoke with the manager and said we would just like a new container. They said no!!! Flabbergasted. Why such terrible customer serve for loyal patrons! We haven’t been back since :(

This is my favorite place to shop for produce. They have an excellent selection of reasonably-priced produce. As soon as you walk into this place, you can feel that happy fresh produce feeling. Though I have yet to compare prices for all the produce I usually buy, it several items are less, and some are far less, than shopping at Safeway. I especially like their selection of apples, oranges, an array of roots and fruits and all sorts of things. Depending on the time of year, you can find papayas and dragon fruits too. This is where you will find new things almost every time you go. Fresh basil, mint, almonds other roasted nuts, dried fruits. Fresh hummus. Explore this place. The people who work there, from the cashiers to the stockpeople, are helpful and friendly. Even the bread selection is excellent, with some local vendors, and other treasures. Their freezer section also has some hard-to-find items. Really, all I can say, is this is a place to explore. Sure, buy your staple items, but try a new fruit, or a new cookie. whatever you like. Tip: there is a juice/acai bar in the store too. So you can fuel up while you plan your shopping.

Went for fruit and picked up rosemary bread sticks, raspberries , apples and almonds. Staying at Hyatt down the road and looking for good healthy snacks to keep in the room.

I’ve shopped at this grocery store a handful of times and have had no issue. However, as I was leaving the store today, one of the workers wouldn’t make room for me to pass with my daughter in the stroller (he was out in the aisle a bit.) I said excuse me and thought perhaps he didn’t hear me. However, he proceeds to tell his coworkers that he doesn’t work at the smoothie shop (which is where I happened to purchase something today) and therefore wouldn’t move. I will never return to the grocery store to purchase anything again after seeing how they treat patrons of their neighboring store. Not to mention the fact that I actually have been a customer of theirs in the past. Terribly rude employee!

I went with my friend's little sister who accidentally dropped a candy, causing it to crack and the cashier snarkingly said she has to pay for it. Which scared my friend's sister as she's only 10 and was catch off guard by the lady's harsh demands for her to pay. On several other occasions this lady has lectured customers for dumb things, she needs to work on her customer service skills and basic manners as well.

A nice family-run store with excellent choice of fresh vegetables and fruits, goods from European, ex-Soviet union countries. It also has a smoothie and fresh juices corner.I personally don't find California vegetables and fruits tasty, but of those you can find in locals stores, Burlingame farmers market provides the best.Stote has two entrances - one to the Broasway street, the other to a big and inexpensive parking lot, which is highly convenient. The best "national" store I know in the Millbrae-Burlingame area. All fresh stuff is always fresh, nicely presented. It's less affordable than Saffeway, obviously. I once spent 450 bucks quick and easy for two shopping buskets.I would like to especially praise workers, and out of them, Olga, the cashier. She is always nice and professional. Thanks to all involved. I appreciate owners' and buyers' work, too. The assortment is truly amazing. The only thing I would love to add is fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan or Azerbaijan. They are truly fantastic there.

Really nice high end market. Everything is clean and fresh here. They have a lot of fresh bread and focaccia in the front and a good selection of coffee too. There's also an acai and smoothie bar.Bring your own bag because they charge for that. I found a lot of ingredients to make ravioli and spaghetti here. They have sauces and pasta in the freezer. This is super convenient since I don't cook. They also have hummus and other stuff here too.Great high end little market with fresh produce and short lines!
