My wife’s family has been using California Image for their automotive restoration needs for decades—including helping rehabilitate a classic Corvette!—and after smashing up the rear driver’s side of my brand-new 2023 Ford Lightning BEV, I can understand why. This is a high-quality, high-touch shop tucked away in Burlingame’s industrial district that is all about taking care of their clients.Ceaser and Ray absolutely took care of me and my new vehicle. Their expertise, focus, and practical negotiation with my carrier resulted in me getting a brand new bed for my truck rather than having Cal Image fabricate a repair. Additionally, these guys even tracked down some custom decals that I had purchased off of eBay to make sure I got my truck back exactly like new.In fact, that was the promise they made me when I dropped the vehicle off—and a promise it sounds like they make to all their customers: “we’ll make sure your vehicle is restored exactly to it’s pre-collision state.” They did, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They even popped out some unrelated door dings as a unrequested service gesture.Wrecking a car sucks; wrecking a brand new car sucks even more! That said, these guys took all the burden of dealing with my carrier off of my shoulders and simply focused on making sure I was surprised and delighted with the results when I went in to pick up my vehicle.This level of service and focus on the client seems almost a rarity these days. I’m glad I had the family hook-up that refered me over to these guys! Cal Image is a quality shop, and they’ve got a new lifetime client.

I raised two teenage boys, so for a while I was a frequent flyer here. Their work is always beautiful. Recently, I was sideswiped in a parking lot and had a repair done. Their work is as good as ever.. My car is perfect -- looks better than the day I bought it. I highly recommend Cal Image.Services: Painting

Cesar and Ray are awesome. This place goes the extra mile. We shopped around and this was the best quote by hundreds if dollars less and were more thorough. They even detailed the interior and outside of the car as an added bonus. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great experience here. The staff went above and beyond for us, they were helpful, responsive, and super friendly. They took care of every detail while my car was being repaired, and it came back looking like new. Ray runs a great shop, and that is definitely reflected in their work, as well as their interaction with their clients. I won't take our cars anywhere else but California Image from here on out. Highly Recommend.
