If I could give them no stars I would. Fatima the manager is incompetent and doesn't know how to manage. Wanted to close out one of my accounts, and they didn't know how to do that. They also didn't know how to much I needed in my account in order to maintain a free safe deposit box. Nor did they know how to cash out checks. She kept giving me one teller after another and Fatima didn't even care because she herself didn't know how to do the job or answer the questions I had. Totally incompetent.

The tellers here arent bad, but the manager Denise is terrible. She is unresponsive and lazy although she pretends to be busy. I usually go to Millbrae or another location to get any serious banking done.

I was having a problem and needed information regarding two deposits made two years ago. Was pretty sure this was going to be complicated to get the information I needed and didn't really have high expectations. I asked Ma Carmen L. Gaston, lead teller if she could help me and I was absolutely shocked at how fast she gathered the information I needed and made copies of the transactions for me. Great experience! Thank you so much.

Try opening an account here. I have been banking with this bank for decades. Trying to open another account and these people here have really no respect for my time. It is taking them hours. Yes hours to get things in order. A simple request to open an account is a chore for them. Really hopeless. If I had a choice I would go go Wells Fargo. Really. These guys are a bunch of ......

If I could give 0 Stars I would. The staff here is extremely slow and frankly low IQ. Unless you are doing a simple deposit or withdrawal they have no idea what they are doing and use extremely antiquated systems. Something that takes 5 minutes somehow takes them 30-45. I question if they can even read

DO NOT GO HERE!! Rosemary the so-called bank manager, is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. She does not know how to speak with the customer or how to handle a situation. I moved from Hillsborough six months ago, and received a letter in the mail from Citibank stating that I have a safe deposit box still opened. I I remember closing the safe deposit box and handing over the keys. I have not used Citibank since 2012. But they still sent me a letter in the mail stating that I have that safe deposit box still open. I spoke with Rosemary and told her my situation. I told her that I have two kids and I now live in the LA area, and it is very inconvenient for me to come to the bank to settle this matter. She told me that since the box was never closed they must schedule a date with the locksmith to drill open the box, as I repeatedly told her that there is no valuables in this box and I have handed over the key she still did not trust me and drag me all the way from Los Angeles to Burlingame having to pay a big amount of money for airfare, hotel, and rental car. After I got to the bank she told me, "why are you here, I figured it out the box was closed, there was a mistake in the computer, you do not need to be here" I was very upset and started yelling at her and told her that she never got back in contact with me letting me know That the matter has been resolved. I told her that she must pay for all my expenses due to the fact that it was their fault for losing the key to the safe deposit box that was closed in 2012, she responded with OK let me open a case file for you, please provide me with a receipt for all these expenses. I provided her with the receipt for all my expenses, and she opened up the case. I spoke with her A few days ago after having to try six different times to get in contact with her due to the fact that she ignored to my emails and ignored three of my missed calls and three of my voicemails, she told me that the case has been handed off to someone else and that I will not be hearing with a decision for a case in six months. When I asked her to provide me with the person in charge of the case or who it was handed off to she replied I am not allowed to do that. This woman is not qualified to be a banker at all. She has very bad communication skills and very bad organizational skills. The overall bank is a very bad place to leave your investment. I would never trust them with a single penny let along my life savings. Overall avoid this bank at all costs or else you will fall in the same situation as me.

Update: Instead of the referral rewards, received Thank you points. Better than nothing but way far less than what it was advertised. It was claimed that the referral code went in, but it was overlapping with opening an account rewards. Ironically, none of the rewards program mentioned that only one reward is available. When opening an account, I was told that both of the rewards will be available (wrong information). At least, the VP of the branch tried to resolve the issue and granted what was available at the moment. I am glad I didn't refer to my friends and relatives.
