Terrible condition. Mud everywhere. Fairway grass as tall as rough. 2 greens closed on hole 2 and 3, and hole 9 is shortened to a par 3. Flooded bunkers on the front 9 and one hole on the back 9 has literally half the playing area turned into a large pond. The condition is understandable given the recent storms, but its mind boggling that they continue to charge full price of $95 a round for this. After the round, I complained to the staff at the pro shop, who was understanding, but was not able to offer any concession. They also mentioned that its been this condition for months.I would stay away until conditions have improved.

Do not play here after it rains, you will lose your ball in the fairway - it is that muddy. Range machine is often out of golf balls, or is broken entirely, and all golf balls are in bad condition with mud covering them, or dimple-less. Range mats have seen better days, and all of this is for expensive prices on the range ($21 for a large bucket of 140 balls!)

Played 18 on a Saturday morning at Crystal Springs. It is a lovely course with a TON of elevation and undulations. It's a difficult track offering amazing views. Lots of wildlife and overall a great place to play. I will say the cost was steep compared to some of the other courses in the area with comparable condition. Overall will be playing here again in the future.

I have been here for the driving range a few times. Occasionally there is a wait for a mat. There is a nice bar and outdoor tables looking over the range. Played 18 holes here once. Tee time around 2 pm but with delays from prior group we started 20 minutes late due a lack of available electric carts. Overall slower pace of play. Beautiful place. I know a lot of other people whom love it here. Not the best experience for me

This is strictly for the driving rangeI don't know what's changed recently but I have been going to this as my practice range for last 1.5 years. Lately they are always running out of balls and or randomly closing the range with no warning. It has happened twice this week. On Monday I used my range card and got maybe 8 balls out of 110 for the large bucket. Got a ticket from the pro shop to try the second machine. Zero balls came out. They gave me a voucher great. Now today (Friday 9/8) I get to range at 9:30 am. There are buckets over both machines indicating they have no balls. There are a dozen other golfers milling about confused. No one is picking up balls on the range. I go to pro shop and they have no idea the ball machines are closed or when more will be available. I spend 30 mins on the putting green and nothing changes so I left. I understand balls run out but having no one available to pick them up and the pro shop being clue less to what's going on. This never used to happen so maybe they are short staffed?

Great and challenging golf course, but like most reviews, the pace of play is horrendous. I've played this course a few minutes short of 6 hours once which was brutal. I've quit after 15 holes because it took 5 hours to get there. I'm not sure why the pace is so slow here. Is it all the people who are waking? Because this is a tough course to walk. Is it the fact that they pack in tee times? I was on the first tee once and right when the group in front hit their second shots, the starter was already telling us to tee off. If they spread the tee times out and made it mandatory to use carts on the weekends, it could alleviate the slow play, which is what this course is known for.

The most cost-efficient wedding venue in the Bay Area. No exaggerated prices. The view of the mountains from their Bar Terrace is worth it.Manager Jesse hires fun people and they’re fun to be around.

Always such a gorgeous day of golf at this course. The views are impeccable. The deer and wildlife are spectacular.

The course is great and in fantastic shape, but the pace of play is terrible. I’ve been at a hole with 4 groups waiting to play. This is unacceptable. Extend the gap between tee times and send a Marshall around to speed groups up. It’s getting difficult to want to play here. Minimum 5 hour round. It’s also really expensive, which would be ok if the pace of play was better! Same issue any day of the week!

Crystal Springs Golf is easy to access from Belmont with only 5 to 19 minutes drive. The rough is pretty thick and it's pretty hard to find the ball if you do not hit it on the fairway. Tee box marks on second nine holes are all disappeared, probably due to course maintenance. The view on the course is great with mountain surrounded.

This place needs a marshall to move players along. It took me 3 hr 20 min to play 9 nine holes on a saturday 2pm tee time. Or they need some type of test or handicap minimum. This is not an easy course, yet >75% of the players are not good. Add this place to the list of courses in the bay area I will not play on a weekend until marshalls are hired.

I really want to love this course. I love the layout however, the course is in terrible condition. I understand we've had a large amount of rain and this post does not pertain to that. The greens are terrible, patches, missing, bumpy, and you have no idea where your putt is going. The tee boxes are horrendous. The facilities are terrible and outdated. The course needs to be shut down and completely redone. In my opinion. You can't even find grass near the putting green over by the range to chip. Like I said, the course could be great! But good Lord is it bad. Not to mention my tee time ran 15 minutes late and we quit after nine.
