Really bad. The pharmacy is super slow and understaffed. Also, every time I pick up a prescription, something is wrong. Wrong insurance, wrong dose, coupon entered incorrectly. I have to stand in a second line and wait for another 30 minutes. I'm going to try another pharmacy, this one is just too unreliable. The store is OK, but way overpriced so I only buy things when I have a coupon.

The staff members are helpful, convenient location. Some of the item needs to be restocked (make up, snacks, etc). I always would love to shop their discounts because the deals are really really good

They LIE! They are closed.!!!!
Place is supposed to be 24 hours. Closed at 10 pm. Yet sign says 24 hours. Don't you hate when these big companies lie to you and waste your time and gas. Especially when you need medicine.

This CVS Store accepted vaccination appointments at 2PM and when we got to the pharmacy, it's closed for lunch. Why even accept appointments when the pharmacy is closed?

Never waited under 30 minutes. This place is the slowest pharmacy in the US

I can't speak to the general retail/grocery side of things as I regularly don't use them (although would it hurt to make sure your jerky is stocked up?). This review is solely for the pharmacy and medications section.
With that in mind, the CVS pharmacy team here is excellent. Even in dire situations they have been nothing but kind, accommodating, and professional. Having worked in pharmacy purchasing at a major university hospital before, I have only an inkling of what customer-facing pharmacy techs go through each day. To remain calm and helpful despite long queues and, sometimes, customers who are going through stressful times and need urgent prescriptions, is a skill not many have.
I've read through many of the one-star reviews, and it seems a lot of them are simply unfamiliar with how modern retail pharmacies work.
They don't have your prescribed drug in stock? Pharmacy inventory systems are almost completely automated nowadays, and they have limited shelf space (you'd be surprised how many different drugs are on an in-stock formulary at a place like this). If you're drug isn't in stock, it is either because it isn't kept on-hand locally, or it is a fast mover and they are simply out. Although I've never had to wait more than an extra day to fill an Rx, if the wait is longer that is due to supply chain issues and not something that one particular CVS can circumvent. If it was urgent, they've always taken the time to search the network to see if a nearby CVS can fulfill it.
In regards to going to pick up a Rx and finding it is not ready yet: apologies, but who does that? Always check CVS online or the app to see if your Rx is ready yet before going in. If you don't have access to those, simply calling the pharmacy and using the automated menu can get you this information as well (sure this system is a bit cumbersome and roundabout, but is does work), and save you a trip until it is ready.
- 5 Stars for the pharmacy and medicines section.
- 1 Star knocked off because they retail section is a bit iffy and, well, that whole jerky thing.

They need to be better at having the medication stocked. I’m out and i put my request on Thursday, and they won’t have it until Monday. Then add their poor customer service and empathy!

I started working there a few months ago. I got fired by Mary who was not even my manager. I heard her on the phone saying bad things about my people of race ( Persian ) ,and the next thing you know I got fired by this racist creature. I am putting a law suit against CVs pharmacy and I am hoping something good happens after this lawsuit. And in another occasion,I caught a shop lifter ,and the police asked him if he could empty his pocket ,and he did. It all stolen stuff from CVs ,and still Mary had the guts to yell at me ,and telling me if I saw the shop lifter was putting things in his pocket Keep in mind she use to be the manager while before in that location, and that gave me an idea that he was one of her friends who she allowed him to shop lift. What a sad senario. She manipulated a lot of stuff Onn me as well. I don’t think no business in any part of this world should have such a person to let work for them. My lawsuit is based on racism ,retaliation, and more and all because of Mary.

I don’t like how on the website it says Open 24hours when it’s completely is NOT. I have made a complaint about it months ago. They told me they were going to change the hours & fix it but they still have not done so. It’s been 4 months now.
It’s false Advertisement!! To a lot of people, we have people including me coming around 11p-2am needing supplies like medicine if we sick or etc. but it’s Never open but the Sign keeps saying Open 24hours !!
When it completely isn’t.
So please fix your hours for your location. It isn’t hard .

For those taking care of a homebound person, I want to share how CVS helped me, especially the clerks and manages who understand the needs of the homebound, take care of my parents with all of their health needs when their own health care provider would not help In short, for dementia, they have "Bright Strong" with Ginko Biloba, and Choline, though not a cure, but it helps, and is much cheaper than stronger brands, which may be more effective, but are very expensive to use daily. Be aware that dementia can influence one's inability to walk or transfer. As my parents ability declined, CVS had canes, walkers, wheelchairs and commodes that were very helpful For skin cancer, "Skin Tag Oil", again, not a cure, but seemed to prevent my mom's skin cancer from growing, which became an open wound about 1 inch diameter, and keeping a stasis. It may be the ingredient "Thuja Occidentalis" made from conifer oils, that has anti-cancer properties. With this wound care with saline solution, sometimes hydrogen peroxide, which deeply cleanses and may have anti-cancer properties, yet, too much can prevent healthy skin from regrowing, and iodine, which may have anti-cancer properties, with rolled gauze used as a bandage and hold with clear or cloth tape. If wound is more serious then use gauze pads or adhesive bandages. For incontinence, 3x4 ft thick cloth pads which are washable were helpful at night and as padding on the wheelchair, and adult undergarments, be it Depends or the CVS brand worked well For bed sores, if minimal, like skin irritation, then Caladryl or the CVS brand are good, but they can get worse quickly and become an open wound, then use Caloseptine, a thick cream, which works well, and maybe cover with an adhesive bandage For bowel movement issues, to keep things regular and avoid constipation or diarrhea, daily probiotic yogurt, like Acitiva, with a good fiber cereal like Grape Nuts, which taste good together, and a spoonful of Metamucil (try different spoon sizes to find what works for the individual) helps a lot. For difficulty in urination, or prostate issues, especially if typical medication from doctors loses its ability, they say the issue is that the prostate has grown with old age and limits the urethra, which is true, but there are natural remedies that deal with urinary tract and kidney infections that result, and for women, not necessarily related to the prostate, but other factors. So, Saw Palmetto, one pill per day and maybe work up to two or three per day, find out what works for the individual, three may be too strong, but Saw Palmetto, I found, going back a century, made from the Palm Plant, has been used to decrease prostate gland, regulating the change in hormones that occur in old age, that cause the increase. Also, difficulty in urination is not only because of growth of the prostate, but of the resulting urine that remains in the gall bladder unable to expel, and can cause infection in the Urinary Tract System, including the kidneys 100 % cranberry juice (most are only 25%, so look at the label), about 4 oz per day and 8 cups purified water or 600mls water per day helps. Also, one or two garlic pills and maybe one tumeric pill per day helps prevent bacterial infections in the urinary tract system Again, thank you to CVS and all the staff who provide this service to those with health problems. I write this as a summary of online resources such as Webmed where doctors and homebound people give advice

As I mentioned before I got fired by Mary who was not even my manager. She used to run this CVs ,but she was transferred to san Bruno branch. I have been on my own since I was 14 years old ,now I am 62. I have seen it all in my life. I know she was manipulating the system. She made a deal with the shop lifters to steal as much as they can ,but not to forget her cut ,but she was firing the newcomers employees by accusing them for stealing ,so she can show CVs how good she was ,and making money on the side as well That's why she was on my case everytime I baled a shoplifter with a good reason. She is a scum bag.

2:30am and my husband needed to get fever medicine for our 5 year old only to show up to this 24 hour cvs for a taped sign that it is "closed for lunch" no time stated of when it will reopen. What's the point of a 24 hour cvs if it's truly not open 24 hours when emergencies like this happen? SHAME ON THE MANAGEMENT for allowing the employee to close the store without even stating when it will reopen. Reporting this to corporate.
