Great place to exchange co2 tanks for beer brewing. As of the time of this writing (Oct 2023), it costs $25 to exchange a 20 lb tank instead of some ridiculous prices at other places. The people have always been very nice and friendly. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Came in for basic nutrients. No prices anywhere. When I asked how much something was it he seemed to make up the price. When I looked online it was 33% cheaper to just buy it online with next day shipping. I asked if he could match the price which included tax and shipping. His response was that he could. But he didn't care enough too. He's never seen me in the store before so that's my price... Wow okay, you'll also never see me here again. What a pos place. Don't waste your money coming here just shop online and get better prices then this dump

Only reliable place on the peninsula for gardening supplies besides San Francisco. Closed Sundays sometimes closes early call before you come if you're not in the neighborhood. Very fair pricing willing to discount orders for regular customers. Well stocked on the usual needs, plugs, pots, co2, soil... nutes are hit and miss, everyone running Athena these days.. that's well stocked.. lots of TrolMaster gear.. flora flex and house and garden are there but not always the full lines. Most any items you need can be on site in a few days to a week.. While you may have to stand around and wait while other customers are being helped the customer service is very good and worth the wait. Looking to spend some major roll? You've come to the right place volume discounts are the reason why the commercial growers go here.. And if you need IPM help... John knows a guy (me) lol who can set you up with beneficial insects and a spray schedule / plan to eliminate and or prevent spider mites, thrips, russet mites and the other less known invasive bugs we are trying to avoid. www.cannarxgrow.com Happy gardening

Really unprofessional way to run a business (please read: I'm being thoughtful and detailed here in justifying my review). OTOH, their inventory is decent, they seem pretty knowledgeable (at least in the canna space; they were a little dodgy about crops (i.e. fruits/vegetables) although they chalked it up to "we're really busy with incoming inventory" and were taking phone calls and cranking forklifts around on one visit, and not super helpful on another phone call -- when I *was* able to get through. Which brings me to: who *knows* whether they'll be open, especially on Sunday, even though they theoretically are -- I've dropped by to a locked door 2x before I got smarter, then started calling and mostly get "we're closed today" and then a hangup, or just a "mailbox full" message. (Given that, last time I was d*** enough to waste the gas to drive down, there seem to be 2 permanently-parked RVs, one on the street and one right in front of the epically sticker-covered tinted front window/door - I got the distinct feeling that basically Spicoli and Kumar were in there on a PS5 going "dude, don't answer it".) I don't begrudge these guys - I'm sure they're smart and love what they do... but seriously, if anyone were to open another, *professional* hydroponic supply store on the peninsula, and keep regular hours (let alone have a website!), and run it like grownups - this place would be in trouble. (I'm giving them 2 stars because they ARE nice, sorta, although a little "we're pretty busy, and cooler than you" attitude, and have good inventory. Otherwise - not so good guys. Room for improvement.)

Look for a sign that says "grainier." This shop has no official sign outside and it just looks like a disorganized warehouse. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Real nice store with the latest garden gear! John can get it even for non stock items. Fair pricing and personal service make this specialty garden store a winner!
