Not a 5 star hotel, but they get 5 stars for exceeding my expectations. Don't use your room key to enter from the side door. That will deactivate it.

I chose this hotel because of his proximity to SFO and they had shuttle service. I often stay at Hampton Inn and have a good experience - this one was an exception. I did not know there was no shuttle service in the middle of the afternoon so I had to pay too much for a Lyft from SFO. They did have shuttle service in the morning so that part was fine. I attached a picture of their shuttle schedule. The worst part of my stay was when I arrived and pulled back the covering the sheet had a yellow stain - disgusting! I attached a picture. Fortunately they changed the sheets within 15 minutes, but it never should have happened in the first place. When they changed the sheets they asked if I wanted the pillowcases changed instead, do you think they had to actually ask that- of course I wanted the pillowcase changed! The stain was so obvious and large, that there’s no excuse for housekeeping to make that bed and not see that. I left early in the morning to get my flight, so I was not able to try their free breakfast. Next time I am in the San Francisco area, I will not stay at this hotel again.

Plus: near SFO airport. Minus: you can hear the planes asking off. We went for convenient location & airport shuttle.

The customer service front desk reception is too poor, and the WiFi connection in the room is also not good. When I called, I ended up hanging up directly. The first time I gave the room, the sewer was blocked, and the toilet couldn't be flushed. It was really uncomfortable living there

The hotel corridor etc needs some work, but the rooms were ok. Breakfast options were limited. I may not stay here with kids/family. This time I was traveling alone for work. Wifi was good.Food & drinks: Breakfast was provided, but with limited options only. Average. Coffee was available 24/7.

Excellent hotel very convenient for San Francisco Airport. Great breakfast.Only criticism is that shuttle to the airport does not run between 9.00am and 5.00pm. We had to get an Uber for around $15.

Probably the worst stay of my life, hotel room doesn’t come complete with amenities (lack shower gel, the other room lack body lotion).9-10Am before check-out time, cleaners keep knocking on doors, one even entered when i was in the bathroom without permission.Receptionist dressed like strippers but with attitude like a tired hobo, called for the shortage of amenities, they agreed but nothing was sent over. Probably it was sent to spaceX for galaxy transportation.

I would definitely stay here again if I am flying into SF late. I got in around 10:30 and the shuttle runs until 11 or so. I called the hotel and spoke to a very friendly and patient person who sent the shuttle straightaway and helped me be sure I was waiting in the correct spot. The drive was short and uneventful, just as I wanted! Check in and out was a breeze. My room was clean and a perfect place to crash before heading to the city. Also, I went to Pacifica for the day after checking out and they held my bags for me. That was a load off my mind. I came back to get my things and left for my next hotel. It was effortless and the people were very kind and friendly.

UPDATE:The review below was created prior to the crappy encounter we just had with Mary at front desk. While most of what is written below remains true, it is unfortunate that our last night was unwelcomed by front desk Mary.Back story: our stay was from Thursday to Sunday. Th and Fri the dinning room located next to the front desk was open and well lit for patrons to use. As of Saturday night, our last night, at 2200, the lights were off however the tv was on. When 4 people from our party of 8 asked Mary from front desk to turn on the lights (all separate occasions) she gave us all different reasons as to why the lights are to remain off. We were told 1. It's not suppose to be on. 2. It's a hassle to turn it on.3. It attracts homeless people to come.4. We're not serving breakfast 5. Blank stare without a reply then proceeded to text.1/10 for the not so nice lady.Anyhow, rant over. Here's the original post...Convenience of location: 10/10Located close the SFO with multiple options of fast food and other large stores nearby.Convenience of amenities: 10/10-Small fridge with micro freezer and microwave in room.-Pantry open at night with easy to make/micro options. - Coffee available at night. - laundry facility on site (only one washer and dryer)- breakfast included dailyCleanliness:10/10Nothing was gross in or out of our room.Staff : 20/10Everyone from front desk, to auxiliary staff were absolutely accommodating and sincere about their help. No one ever made is feel like we were a bother.Daily breakfast: 7/10This isn't to say it's sucked. It was not a robust menu but heck for a small hotel it was perfect! It had the all the essentials and that's all you really needed. Aesthetics of overall property: 7/10Again it was clean. Just expect the facilities to be outdated in 5-10 years. It certainly did not look sketchy or gloomy. Just normal aging. Price: reasonable! $615 for 3 nights/4 days. For a 4 person room. Would I return: efffff yes! Will I use future Hampton inns at other locations? If they are anything like SFO Burlingame, yes, absolutely!

This is a comfy place to stay. I have been here several times and always consistent. There is no dining service after breakfast so we walk to a restaurant across the street that is perfect. Beds at the Hampton are very firm and the rooms are moderately sized. A/C and Heat works well. Breakfast selection is standard for a Hampton Inn. It worth the cost.

Decided to take a birthday trip to San Francisco and then Los Angeles. Wanted a hotel close to the airport (even though I had a rental car), so I picked this one after checking googlemaps for various choices.1. It is very close to the airport. In fact, an airport entrance is right down the street.2. As I love to watch airplane traffic. You could just walk across the street through another hotel parking lot and watch planes land over the water.3. Rooms-Hmm. I would say that they are, "Okay", but could use a little updating especially by getting rid of the carpeting and replacing it vinyl or linoleum. You something that could be cleaned better.4. Parking-The lot is kind of small, but at night there were at least a few spaces left.5. Safety-Being away from the city, where you have to be more cautious, I felt pretty safe here. But as a super traveler, I still encircled the parking lot, before picking a spot.6. Staff-I asked for a late check-out as a Honors member. The woman said, "because I did E-Check-in, all she could do is 12noon". One, I did not do e-check-in, I always come to the desk for check-in, to assess whether I want to stay. Two, I have never heard of such a ridiculous excuse and neither did customer service, when I called them about it later. So, NO, I was not happy with the day-time staff. I'd rather a person say we are going to be full tonight and need to get all of our rooms ready as soon as possible.7. They have a decent little breakfast to get you started. Like juices, cereal, waffle maker, boiled eggs, sausage, oatmeal and that type of thing.8. Restaurants-Just across the highway 101, on the other side there are a ton of places to eat. My favorite, In-N-Out was over there, so I was really happy.Bottom line- It was just okay. But I listed down other hotels to stay in on that same street for my next visit in September.Photos-None of the hotel, I was not impressed enough, here is how close the airport runway is to see some of the most beautiful international jets.
