I enjoyed my stay very much and I’m grateful to the late checkout as My flight is 11:30 pm. I am elderly and travelling alone. This has been my home away from home Hotel. The service is very good all round, Except the Chinese waiter In the restaurant, who appeared to be impatient and very abrupt. He is very much the exception. It is very convenient to access the airport from this hotel.I like to make a few suggestions to the hotel to make the stay even more comfortable.1. Please have a recycle bin Empty bottles of water And other wrapping papers etc.2. Please consider putting refrigerator into the rooms because we like to take fruits and cold beers etc. We have not come across a rum, has not got the fridge for a very very long time3. There is no shower room for the gym or the swimming pool. A sweating man who came out of the gym went into the pool which made me feel very uncomfortable. As for myself, I would like to have a shower instead of just drying myself to go onto the lift. Thanks again to

Had a short trip to SF and this place worked out wonderfully. The room we booked had a nice view of the bay and the south. We were on the 13th floor. The beds were comfortable although I wish they were queen sized and not just double beds. Everything was very clean and worked properly, except the shower head pipe was forced to far toward the wall, so you were pressed up against the wall to get a decent stream. Access to the building is good and the parking garage prices were very reasonable. We went to Kincaids restaurant which is in walking distance and was really impressed with that as well. I would really recommend this hotel for stops in SF.

The hotel was nice. Loved the location next to the San Francisco Bay. I was able to watch the planes fly into the airport. The indoor pool was great, too. The only downside, my room (and I found out no room) has a small refrigerator? I was told upon checkout I could have requested a refrigerator during my stay (I was there for the weekend). There's no signage that tells you this, so I'm telling you...ask for a refrigerator when you check in. ?Walkability: There's a walking trail that runs alongside the bay. It's across the street from the hotel.

Stayed here because we had an early flight out of SFO. As with other Hilton brand hotels in the area, they offer the "park, stay, and go" package which includes parking for up to 7 days and a shuttle to/from the airport. Our trip was longer than 7 days, so I had to pay for the additional days of parking but it was only $10 each additional day, so still way cheaper than parking at the airport. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. I was surprised to find the room didn't have a mini fridge it. Not a big deal for us but these days a mini fridge is pretty much standard in all rooms, especially ones that aren't considered a "cheap" hotel.

This Hilton feels more like a motel than a hotel. It is located out on its own with nothing nearby or walking distance, which is important because their restaurant is only open for minimal hours and they don't have any in-room dining. My room had a non-working shower where the faucet was dangling like a necklace and when I ran water in the sink it started flooding out the bottom all over the floor. Not worth it to stay here. Choose the Marriott nearby for a similar price but better location, rooms and amenities.Rooms: Old, outdated, broken facilities, no mini fridge

The sheets were stained. They did change then when asked. The front desk, does not come off with a Welcome to the Hilton, but more of NEXT. They are not very personable or welcoming compared to other Hilton's. The place does need updated, it seems it has seen better days. Until then, they would do well to up their greeting game and their room cleanliness. It would help tremendously.

This place is no good. It’s kind of a shame it’s under the Hilton name. Here’s just a few of the issues that make this not a great place to stay:- the rooms are super dated. Like, haven’t been updated in decades. The chair in my room has numerous stains. See photos.- rooms don’t have refrigerators. Seriously! I can’t keep a beer, or coffee, or water bottle, or soda, or whatever cold in my room?! I have seen motel 6s that have fridges and cleaner rooms.- the carpets have stains.- the restaurant and bar staff provide awful service. They’ll ask what you want before even giving you a menu and will not pay any attention to you after you’ve ordered.- the gym is worse than most gyms I’ve ever seen.- the beds are uncomfortable. I’ve slept on pull out couches that are more comfortable.I come to San Mateo for work monthly, and I would rather pay double the price to stay at the Marriott in SM or pretty much any other hotel. I will not be staying here again.

The hotel was very comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping services were excellent! Only downside is what they charge for parking.

We booked this place expecting a 4-star hotel and service. In reality, I don’t believe it even qualifies for a 3-star rating. So, if you expect a 4-star hotel and amenities, this is not the place. It is very old, very basic, and the level of service is far below 4-star standards.

During our recent stay at this Hilton, we found ourselves here unexpectedly due to a flight rescheduling. It was very close to the airport and its shuttle service was convenient. However, it's surprising that this hotel maintains a 4-star rating. The property appears quite dated, with worn and stained carpets and dirty furniture in our room. We even noticed a couple of dark spots on the chair pillows. The room's decor seemed frozen in the 1990s, with the exception of the flat-screen TV. The AC unit looked like it belonged in a college dorm room from the '90s as well. The bathroom was a real letdown. Some fixtures didn't seem to work so water couldn’t stay at a fixed temperature, and the bathtub was clogged, leading to a flooding issue during our shower. It was a very unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, we discovered a dark orange stain, possibly blood, on one of the towels. Despite our exhaustion from a previous flight delay and an early departure the next morning, we didn't have the energy to address these issues with the management right away. We reported our concerns to the front desk the next morning but received no response or apology. Hilton needs some serious updating and attention to detail to live up to its 4-star status.

I stayed here for one night after being given an airline voucher for an extremely delayed flight. The shuttle took over 40 minutes to arrive at the airport, but shuttle ride was pleasant, hotel wasn't far from the airport, and the check in process was seamless. I was very surprised that there was no refrigerator in our room, and had to throw away some breakfast items that I had brought for my children. I would normally say that this was an uneventful hotel stay and not bother to leave a review. However, the morning we left I realized I left a book on the nightstand, and along with it a bookmark that my daughter painted for me and is very special to me. I emailed the hotel that same morning we checked out with the room number, date, and very specific details of what was left and never even received a response (currently 1 month later). Very disappointed with the complete lack of customer service.

Room is comfortable but quite old. Noisy, older air conditioner in room. Old, worn carpet. No microwave nor refrigerator. Breakfast was better than average but almost $30.00 for the buffet. Paid parking. Pleasant staff.

Staff wasn't great. We had no power for part of our stay with no notice or discount. Do not recommend staying here when there are so many other options in the area. The Aloft by Marriott is a great alternative!

Front desk people were nice. Room furnishings are excellent. Location is excellent.Negatives: We were on the 13th floor. The pipes in the walls around our room made a somewhat high pitched squeal. This noise was periodic and woke me up at least 5 times in the night. There was a device on the ceiling with a bright blinking led. Don't forget to bring tape to fix something like this.My bath towel was either dirty or stained. I wasn't going to test it, so I used a hand towel to dry off after showering (they only provided two towels).Hilton charges $20 for parking. The exact same lot charged only $10, through a different entrance on Airport Blvd.Noteworthy details: Hilton gouges for parking.

The front desk ,Mr Venmi ,was very kind and helpful ...the bell man Manny came to our room with a smiling face early in the morning... very nice and helpful person. The restaurant staff is curt and rude especially one old man who is a server and one middle aged lady too..i think they were not happy with the tip amount given . .we really didn't want to go and eat there but my husband loved the salmon so we had a meal twice at the restaurant.Even the shuttle service driver was excellent...we left by the 7.30 shuttle in the morning...i can't remember his name.On the whole a happy stay.
