I've been going to this hotel for three years. Their ocean view is beautiful and they are very organized. Their prices are extremely reasonable, more than reasonable. There are so many hotels I've stayed at that charged double of what I paid. 80 dollars a night was quite the steal for amazing room service and great employees at the front desk.I went down to get two drinks from their snack area. A man who was probably in the mid 30's looked like he had been on drugs and hadn't taken a shower. I could tell he most likely didn't have a reservation as he was cursing and walking around the lobby. He had came up to me and was very close to me which made me extremely uncomfortable. This is the first time in years I've seen anything like this happen at this hotel. The lady handling the check ins was amazing at dealing with this man. She in no way discriminated him and in no way made him feel like he didn't belong there. I could see in her eyes she was scared of what he was going to do next. She handled the uncomfortable situation extremely well. I hate that I didn't catch her name but she was working the front desk Tuesday,December 26th , around 9pm. Something I love about this hotel is their free breakfast. Their breakfast is so yummmyy i don't care if they were frozen but it's soooo goood. They don't taste like if they were frozen or anything. They also offer free hot chocolate and coffee day round which is so nice too. All the other hotels I've been to charge for even a cup of water! In addition to that, the area in which they serve their food is extremely organized and well maintained. My absolute favorite thing they serve is their cinnamon rolls, it literally hits every time. And to those two employees Saturday (December 30th) morning that were speaking in Spanish complaining that I got the last two cinnamon rolls, im sorry. I don't think they thought I understood them but I did lol. However, that is not something I will dock a star over. Para la próxima, ten cuidado al hablar español a espaldas de los clientes. puedes conseguir tu cinnamon roll el próximo vez que trabajas jajajaConcluding this review, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Bay Area. They are very clean and hard working people. They will guarantee your safety and make sure your stay is up to your expectations. To that person who said they unplugged the ice machine, you are a bum.

We stay at this hotel when visiting family and we always have a good experience. Mary at the front desk is always very helpful and friendly. I noticed some of the negative reviews mentioning a restaurant. There is no restaurant in this hotel so why the negative reviews? Someone mentioned being given a fourth floor room. Um there are only three floors. Just saying that not all reviews should be taken for face value. Also call to verify restaurants etc if not clear on their website. Also the $20 parking fee is cheap compared to the surrounding hotels.

My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The first day we arrived early and we were told at 1230 the room we reserved(?) was not ready. So the Asst. Manager made some moves and gave us a room, after I put up a fuss. We arrived to the room exhausted from a plane trip of 4 hrs to find a room not really ready for a guest. Not to be too picky we just noted a few things, TP, Kleenex, soap and towels were short in this room. A television in the bedroom only. Looking closer, rather unkept. Due to our fatigued state we accepted this things but brought them tom the AM's attention. That went no where. We then went to the breakfast the next morning and it was obvious there was no real supervision, the sweet rolls were hard, eggs and bacon cold, coffee watered down and little milk for the coffee. I guess I was in la la land because the reviews I was reading were not what I experienced. The ladies were friendly true, the ones I experienced. The one person in charge of the cleaning personnel not so much, we saw her standing around chatting it up with someone whom just dropped by to say hello. He left with food for three. No surprise they were friends, then a man dropped off his wife, got coffee, food and said adios as he got back into his white smaller SUV and departed. The person in charge walked around, got a bag from behind the desk and walked away. Upon her return no bag. We reported these things to the AM, who gave excuses. The second day we did not want to experience this again so we skipped the breakfast. It was eventful do to three police officers in the lobby sorting out something that we were not privileged to. Still police usually mean something is going on that is serious. Im tired of writing so here it is the Pacifica and Oaxaca Holiday Inn Express were outstanding, this one very bad and the only pleasure we received was the bed. One last encounter with two men in a car out back. While enjoying the view this guy gets out of his car about 25 yards from us and begins urinating. That capped off our visit.

This is a great option for me. The park fly and stay is the only way I will travel anymore. The staff and people working are always friendly and helpful, quick and efficient. No hidden costs you pay what they tell you. I can travel and know my vehicle is secure.

Little good things/acts could make your day or even make the world a better place. My entire experience with this Holiday Inn is showing me how much hard work and great efforts people who work or people who manage here are trying to make it to be a wonderful place to stay. Price is reasonable or even generally more affordable than other options nearby. All day complementary coffee, water, and cookies. Free breakfast and shuttles with time table. Clean room and neat public space. 15 mins walkable distance to Burlingame Boardwalk for so many nice restaurant and options, for me it is friendly and nice to walk around.I kinda don’t want to publish this cause this place is so great and the great words may make the market raise the room fare. It would be the best if I was served the water side rooms for some airplanes!

This Holiday Inn Express is in a good location just south of San Francisco. Less than 3 miles from the SF airport. The pictures online make it look a little more relevant than in person. It actually arrived after sunset. They're signs posted everywhere concerning a rash of automobile break-ins. Just posted everywhere. This was concerning to me. You walk inside, it's very warm and inviting. There's an upstairs and downstairs lounge area to work. The layout of this Holiday in is unique. Rooms are on the 4 corners of the lobby. You can walk across to each side or use the elevator. I had had dinner at Max's. Restaurant right in front of the hotel. If you show them your room key, you're supposed to get 10% off your meal. Food portions were huge. Drinks made well. So, Walking to the rooms...it should be updated especially with the remodeled lobby decor. Bedroom was neat. The heat worked. Bathroom was really small. I just felt cramped. I slept well. Breakfast was hot and tasted good. I found my biscuits and gravy. They had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes and bacon. Cold cereal station, toast and sweet cinnamon rolls.

I booked a room for 3 nights using Priceline for $382. Upon arrival the front desk charged me $455. I protested but was told not to worry because the final charge would be $382. Folks you need to understand there is a difference between a hotel room charge and a hotel deposit for incidentals. They should never be commingled. They should always be separate transactions. Moreover, deposits are nice round numbers like $100 or $200. I've never seen a deposit for $73. Well the final charge remained at $455. I subsequently disputed this charge and I contacted Priceline and we determined this was a Fraudulent charge intentionally made by the hotel. I'll never go back to these crooks!

I stayed here a few days ago because we had a flight out of SFO. I did some research before booking and saw the AC had been out last month. I called to confirm it had been repaired. I was told it had been. Imagine then my frustration when we checked in, got our kids ready for bed, and then realized the AC wasn’t working. I was offered a new room and a fan. While I’m grateful for the solution I don’t appreciate being lied to.Every other aspect of our stay was great. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Accommodating and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Consistent and complementary shuttle.I can’t decide if I’ll be staying here again. The AC thing has put a pretty sour taste in my mouth despite all the positives.Rooms: Great room. Broken ACNearby activities: Max’s is nearby. Enjoyed our meal there. Only a 2 minute walk. You also can watch the planes land from behind the hotel.Food & drinks: Hot breakfast from 6-9am. Cookies and coffee in the lobby the rest of the day. Snacks for sale.

I typically go out of my stay at IHG hotels but this was a big disappointment. One of the elevators was broken so it was a long walk to my room. My AC was broken and it was 77deg in my room all night long. A red mark (blood? Lipstick?) on one of the shower towels. At least service was professional and apologetic and gave me some IHG points.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. At first I attempted to check in at the wrong location with my family so I was already irratated, but Myracole, the staff at the desk was very hospitable, and made our stay very comfortable. Was very respectful and welcoming from the start, and quickly and promptly addressed all of our needs and concerns in a very professional manner. Also had really good vibes that enhanced the stay, would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially in a last minute pinch. I booked the same day and ended up paying $150 ish for 2 queen beds, the room was very comfortable and clean with good views, has a microwave and a fridge. I'm sure they may be a little cheaper if u properly plan, but I was in a rush and didnt prefer to get eaten alive by bed bugs at other lower quality properties. Would definitely stay again.

Solid, value-priced hotel near SFO and conducive to travelers.Nothing is cheap in San Francisco or California as a whole but this is a value for the money. Breakfast is included which can save you both time and money in trying to hunt down another option. Rooms are comfortable, not extravagant, and can accommodate small families if you book the right room(s). Staff is pleasant and helpful. Wi-fi was adequate. There isn't too much in walking distance of the airport but there is a separate restaurant just across the parking lot. It's also a bar so later at night the crowd may change a bit but doesn't appear to be a very rowdy place. More dining options located a few blocks away.Rooms: Holiday Inn/IHG pride themselves on making the most of their space. Rooms are comfortable and include everything you are likely to need - toiletries either provided or available on request, same with iron/ironing board. Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet and usually have black-out curtains to ensure you sleep as late as you want. Coffee/tea/hot water maker also standard.Nearby activities: Not too much in walking distance, but plenty if you're willing to drive *AND* pay for parking!Safety: Exercise good common sense, especially after dark. It's not a seedy area but I would still be careful.Walkability: Not so much around to walk to.Food & drinks: Closest restaurant is in the same parking lot and offers food as well as a full bar.
