I was returning a single item for my daughter but she could not find the receipt. A receipt I had from another purchase said that I could return it for store credit without the receipt. The Burlingame store clerk was very rude and said absolutely no return. The Burlingame clerk also said that she couldn't look up my daughters account only the store used for the purchase could. This turned out not to be accurate as she later on did look it up after spending an hour waiting around.I called the original store that it was purchased from and the manager so kindly sent me a copy of the receipt. As the Roseville store manager was very busy she could not get back to me for an hour.After all of that they would still only issue me a store credit but that was like pulling teeth. They have a lot of nice clothes there and I have a lot of grandchildren but I still don't like the idea of shopping there with the drama I had to go through. You also cannot return items purchased in a store that were given to you as a gift if you don't reside near a store. That's not always possible if you live in Idaho.

What happened to this place??? We used to frequent here often pre-pandemic. Cute products. Absolutely horrible customer service. Walked in, browsed for a bit, and wanted to purchase 2 items for my nephew and niece. Sales associate was on the phone the entire time having a great conversation, which was fine. She put down the phone, rung us up. We paid for the items and left the store. Immediately when we exited the store, my wife felt that she was over charged since the items were on sale. She checked the receipt and she was correct. It happens. We marched right back in to the store and let the same associate know. This is where things went downhill. She didn't say a word to us while she was fixing the error. It wasn't necessarily her fault. But, she was not happy that she had to credit us back. Frankly, she was downright rude about it because she really didn't want to be bothered to fix this error. She finally spoke to us to let us know we were getting a credit back. We asked about another gift receipt and it was a real big ask for her. Needless to say, this store lost a customer.

Cute store but in the multiple times I've gone there, it's been "temporarily closed" until a certain time despite the hours of operation being clearly posted in the store. This happens at all hours of the day (11:00am, 2pm, 4pm) so it doesn't seem reasonable that it would be lunch time. If you have to step out that many times that consistently, you should think about hiring more people to work in the store instead of making your customers way so often. It's unclear if the person running checkout is just taking really long breaks every single day or what the nature of the temporary closure is.

Absolutley horrible service... after trying for several days now they do not answer their phone. Then they only have a 7 day return period so if they don't answer their phone in that time frame and you wait until they do then they will not allow you to return the item(s).

The clothes are great, classic French preppy, good quality. The customer service at this store is random. Some of the salesfolks are great and others are unhelpful and clueless, make mistakes. The way they handle returns and store credits is terrible. They supposedly credit an account but not your account, meaning you cannot use the credits easily.

Definitely more pricy than your average children’s clothing shop however they offer high end quality items at a wide selection.

We ordered a DARLING pajama set for my nephew’s baptism that we were so excited for. It was shipped out quickly and came early yet, it was the wrong size!! So, we called to complain and they then sent us a new set with the size we originally ordered. We paid extra for it to arrive on time. It was supposed to arrive the friday before his baptism (4/30/21) in which we even called to make sure of. They reassured us it would arrive but of course it didn’t. So, we showed up empty handed with no gift! We just received the package, two weeks later than when it was supposed to come and it’s the wrong size again. I don’t know what to do. Y’all suck.

Had a 68.00 store credit. Used it online as they did have the merchandise. LSS, they lost my order and I am out 68.00 since I can't prove I had a store credit, issued because of the stores incompetent manager. NEVER shop here. I have 4 grandchildren, how short sighted. The store manger was mad because I would not give him my email. What a snot.

When I bought somthing for my nephew people down the street would ask me even though it was my first time there by the third person I was like what you mean old J & J ? as if I was a regular! Thanks for letting me have a taste of the high life!
