Deeply disappointed and beyond frustrated with my experience at Ocean Honda of Burlingame July, 3 2023. As a first-time customer and supporter of the Honda brand, my negative encounter has significantly impacted my perception and trust in the company as a whole. The deceptive practices and lack of transparency at the dealership has shattered my trust with Honda.Though friendly, the unethical actions of Nicholas Khamphilath, the Sales Consultant who assisted me with my trade-in of 2021 Audi Q7 Prestige and, the entire management team have left me questioning if this behavior is representative of Honda's values and standards and even legal. By persuading me to consider a Honda vehicle without disclosing financial constraints, up-side down trade-in locking myself into a contractual agreement with Honda in which would prevent me from ever trading in my vehicle with other potential dealerships in the future; I was lied to about the car payment amount exceeding my current payment at that time for my Audi Q7, the management team stated it was because of the current market and, and credit score when in fact the remaining value of the Audi was rolled into the Honda vehicle loan (so they can make a profit that day). This was not disclosed to me at all at any time during the transaction and still to this very day. I discovered this on my own through investigation, because Honda has refused to provide me with any documents detailing prominent facts of the loan, trade-in and other important information. I was naively led to believe I was making an informed decision by the Ocean Honda Burlingame team. Furthermore over $10,000 of (optional) features and add-ons were added into the contract and vehicle, ex: ELO's , without my informed consent. Consumers, Please beware before agreeing to anything you are told; these guys will persuade you with their charm and industry jargon. This deceitful practice has cast doubt on the integrity of Honda's sales team.The discrepancies and missing information including the trade-in; equity credit amount, and details of loan, just to name a few, in the contract have further eroded my trust in the company. As a consumer, I expect complete honesty and transparency when entering into a financial agreement. The failure to provide accurate disclosures, itemizations, and explanations raises concerns about Honda's commitment to fair business practices.As a result of this negative experience, I am left feeling betrayed and disillusioned. The Honda brand, once synonymous with reliability, now carries a tarnished reputation in my eyes. I am unsure if I can continue to support a company that allows such practices to occur within its dealerships.I am requesting a thorough investigation into my situation including a review of the conduct of Mr. Khamphilath, Anthony Vu, George Mendioro, Emanuel Evaristo and the dealership and entire company as a whole. Furthermore, I urge Honda to take appropriate action promptly and satisfactorily to rectify this situation, not only for me but also to ensure that other customers do not fall victim to deceptive practices.Note: I have made several attempts on my end as a consumer to work with the dealership for a resolution starting from the very next business day the contracted was entered into.

We had 2 cars serviced today. Alder Lee (Al) took care of both cars. Not only did he take care of the service, but it was completed in less than 2 hours. Al has been our service advisor for the last 4 years and I will not take our Honda vehicles anywhere else! Al is like the old school mechanic shop that you would go to and send all your family to as well. A very trusted person, indeed!

This Honda dealership had the best customer service out of the five I've been to. They not only had the exact car model, color, and interior I wanted, they went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal I can get. Danny was extremely responsive and helpful when I was there! Been coming here since I've moved back and will continue to go moving forward

Big shoutout to Al Lee. My experience here at Ocean Honda of Burlingame begins Monday with excellent service given by AL. He was very good in making you feel a VIP in your first walk-in. I felt very good when I first talk to AL. He was on top of my car problem. Direct to the point. I wasn’t taking advantage of the situation and didn’t got sucked-in of what it could have been. He was very attentive to my needs and was able to make what I can afford. A service guy like AL should always be in every dealership place. Beside my own personal mechanic in San Leandro of which I only go even at a far distance is where I would take my car and now I met AL for sure I would take it to him at Ocean Honda of Burlingame. They are lucky to have him there.

A special shout out, praise and appreciation to all the service and parts team and mechanics at Burlingame Honda. They always look out for my Si and Type R’s best interest at heart especially when I bring on the R. They get all googly eyed over it taking time out of their already busy schedules just to check it out in person and rightly so. I can’t blame them as it’s my baby, pride and joy.Thanks again to all of you as even if I was stranded or couldn’t bring one of my cars in, I was given lifesaving advice and comfort. When other mechanics or shops couldn’t resolve my Si’s a/c issues, you guy’s restored my A/C and nailed it in one session.Thank you for your accommodating, reliable and professional service. It’s difficult to trust anyone else.

Being a fleet manager in any industry is a challenge. It's even a bigger challenge when you don't have a strong support system from a service center. Ocean Honda of Burlingame is definitely a service center that I would recommend. Alder, Lincoln and the rest of the representatives have always taken very good care of our service needs. They are kind and communicative. Exactly what a fleet manager needs. Thank you Ocean Honda of Burlingame. Please keep up the great service!!!

Wonderful service at Ocean Honda of Burlingame! One of my best experiences at any Honda dealership, and that is high praise since typically Honda service is excellent. They were quick, friendly, professional, efficient, and up front about cost expectations. I will definitely be back when my car needs more servicing.

We had a few visits with Nick Khamphilath @Ocean and he was both friendly and helpful. A fellow car enthusiast, he knew instinctively how to make the sales process an easy one. If you're tired of the quick talking - YouTube-esque toned sales folks make an appointment with Nick.He patiently showed us a number of vehicles and explained to us candidly what the market situation is and which models in the Honda portfolio were negotiable. Low pressure and a genuine wish to be helpful.We did not buy anything from ocean mainly due to the Honda product not matching our needs. -- having owned three Honda products in the past they've always been one of our first looks.Just be mindful of the parking meters and don't get a ticket!!

Huge shoutout to the best Ocean Hondas car dealer, Niko L ! Not only does he make sure to give the best customer service but he goes out of his way to make sure all his customers leave satisfied and happy. As a first time buyer he made the process more easier and understandable for us. Also a big shoutout to George in finances ! Truly a great experience make sure y’all go visit and ask for Niko, you won’t regret it at all.

Everyone at this location is very friendly & welcoming. They make you feel at home & take their time making sure you get the quality service. GM Anthony was really & made us feel like family. He went above & beyond in helping with choosing the right car for us. Daniel as well have us wonderful customer service & patiently took care of all the things that need to be done. Thank you dearly to the finance department guy (I’m sorry forgot his name) he really made sure it was a quick sign and not much time waiting. Thank you so much ocean honda team! You guys the best and deserve 10 stars or more!

Always great customer service from this team! I’ve been coming to Ocean Honda of Burlingame since I moved to the area for my maintenance needs - oil change, tire rotation, general service. I recently got the dreaded check engine light and a scary moment of my car refusing to accelerate with my baby in the car. I was able to get my car in immediately, had it diagnosed, fixed and back to me in a couple short days (there was only a delay waiting for the part). They kept me informed (thanks Chris!) and I appreciated that they did everything they could to get my car back on the road.

09/02 I bought a Honda Pilot it was Labor Day so they false advertised they were giving some itens $250worth, I picked an Amazon Gift card that I've never received.I ask the person who sold me the car about this gift card every week and he's told me countless times that it has been sent, but it never arrives.They also add CarDoc on the loan WITHOUT MY CONSENT.After almost 2 months the CarDoc has been removed from my loan.They also promised me 6 free oil changes, I'm already waiting for the "catch's" and hidden charges.Ocean Honda, I won't give up and I'll do whatever it takes to have my $250 amazon gift card.

Just got a car today ! Thank you to Bryan Nguyen for helping us out. I definitely recommend buying from him , he was knowledgeable and very helpful! Even with all my questions he was super patient and answered all my question very honestly . Bryan made sure I got a car that fit my budget and being a mom of two i really needed a car that is reliable and fits our standards. He was very easy to work with and made all my options clear without pressuring me. Overall it was a smooth experience, the process was so easy thanks to him! We'll definitely comeback to him if we're ever in need of a new car :)
