I would avoid working with Clayton. I moved over to him from an EA i'd used in San Francisco for a few years at the recommendation of a friend who'd used him. Two points: 1. Clay seems very knowledgeable, friendly, etc. I am sure he's a fine EA. However: 2. His customer service and office/business management are non-existent - poor to no response time is the norm for him/them, even outside of what i'd consider normally busy tax-season. More, they seem to be very disorganized re documentation. My experience: - They lost my initial email with my tax documentation and didn't respond to 2-3 emails and multiple unreturned calls from me asking if they'd received it, leaving me in limbo. - there have been no responses to subsequent emails about tax questions (minor ones - Clay will request payment for anything requiring 'number crunching'...even after i offered to pay (in an attempt to get him to respond) i received zero responses. I feel bad writing such a negative review, but, honestly, Clayton and his office are quite bad from a service/management perspective.
