No major complaints! I've stayed here about 5 times so far. The rooms seem to be cleaned thoroughly between guests. The rooms are worn but sanitary. Location and price cannot be beat. It is possible to hear your nextdoor neighbors if they're being careless.

Found an affordable room to stay in close to the airport. It was non smoking, but kind of smelled like cigarettes or very stale air. Room was pretty clean, tv, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, work desk, lights, and charging ports. Bed was comfy.I think we might have had a handicapped shower or room, because there were two showers, and no ledge to get in or prevent the water from getting on the floor of the bathroom. My wife and I took a shower and the floor got so wet, there was only one drain for the shower. We used our towels to help soak up the excess water and asked for new towels at 10pm. We got weird answer of this is all we got, and were given a dirty towel. Looked like poop on it. We were really grossed out. Also, the fan kept going all night, even in off mode.Nice views of the bay next to the hotel in the morning.Rooms: Rooms were pretty good for the priceSafety: Seems like a safe placeFood & drinks: They have food and drinks in the lobby for sale.Noteworthy details: Free shuttle that goes to and from the airport terminals. Very easy and convinient.

I am staying at this property for multiple nights. Positives:-Clean rooms-Mini fridge and microwave-Great location off the bay with walking path-Comfortable bed-Very affordable room rate, probably the best in the area-Helpful staff-Fully stocked food/beverage store-Airport shuttle runs every 45 minsNegatives:-Smaller rooms-Older property-No GymThe goal for my stay is to just have a clean, pleasant place to rest while on call for work. Sure I wouldn't call this a luxury property, but for the outstanding room rate, I couldn't ask for more.

This place is a joke, called and asked to talk to a manager and get hung up on several times. Watch your credit cards for additional room charges, I never met staff that was so rude and unprofessional. Will NEVER stay here again!!!!!!!!!! Thanks response from owner, I never ever smoked in my life and your staff never got ahold of me, they were unprofessional, just like you it seems, and I hope this review keeps many customers away from your business. You SUCK also just like your mother did me!!!!

Rude unpleasant staff! Hate this place!I sure don't miss coming to this sh!t hole filled up with rude a55 females. I can't believe I wasted so many years going to these rude humans only for the view when there are so many others. I'm at the embassy right now and I just remembered how terrible and unpleasant my stays were there. Everytime it never failed. I don't understand how they're still in business because who ever is doing the hiring must be a b!tch themselves. And don't even be mad, you caused this so don't even be hypocrites. Delete my review and I will have 5 more people review your sh.

We stayed at the VB Inn. I knew it wasn’t going to be fancy. It was clean. Semi updated, newer caulking in bathroom, newer tiles and flooring, newer paint. Good coffee in room. The fridge has no freezer, not a huge deal. The Room we stayed in was on the Water Bay side, had a great view. Our room was lower level and was convenient with our Golden pup. The pet fee was $20.00. Other area Hotels were $75,$150 etc. VB Inn was very fair with the pet fees*. They had a comfortable bed. Clean linens. There is a walking path which was fun to use. The airport is a little loud, but we slept fine once the door is shut, the noise is low, although they offer earplugs in room which is funny. The Front desk staff was very helpful, and pleasant. We bought some Champagne for a toast and they have a lot of selections with snacks drinks etc in Lobby area. It’s a miniature Seven-Eleven. The Hotel price was the best I found in the area. It felt safe. We ate at In n Out which was close by and the gas stations are close by as well next to In n Out. The Airport was 5 Minutes away. I had to drop my husband off and it was very comforting knowing we had no Airport commute from Hotel. The over all stay was very enjoyable and we would stay again. It’s not swanky but nice and very practical. The Ice machine on the first level wasn’t working, but they have two- another on second level. The screen door was hard to open and close. Small issues….Ty VB Inn SFO, until we meet again….Angela Tony and Roch!

Absolutely no amenities. Was waiting to fly out with no bags. Had to pay $4.00 for toiletries. No coffee next morning. Whatever was offered to sell was way over unnecessarily expensive. Will pay more money for some place with simple amenities next time.Hotel van drivers were a positive experience.Rooms: Clean

The Vagabond Inn has VERY clean rooms. We love to watch the planes and birds from our room. Easy access to a walking path. A little outside the city, but a great place to stay and close enough for easy SF proximity.

Everything was decent. The front desk gentleman was a bit rude when I was checking out but he may have just dealt with something. Room was decent though one light fixture worked but was broken. Door was a little stuck but I just thought of that as a security thing.

Arrives at 1:30am, flight at 6am slept good for 3 hours. They provide ear plugs and surprisingly the bud was very comfortable.

Barely enough room to park so check in early if possible to get a spot. Location is great and I dug the amenities they offered as soon as you walk thru the lobby door. They really go out of their way to make you comfortable with offering a fairly large selection of wine and foods in an almost cafe like atmosphere. The rooms were really clean and quite comfortable. If I could make one small critique, the clerk was a little on the cool side as if we were taking too much of her time by patroning their business. She never gave directions to our room nor the gentleman who checked in after us. But I'd not been there before so we walked around and around till we came across it. But maybe she was just really tired for the almost 8pm it was

I recently stayed at Vagabond Inn Executive San Francisco Airport Bayfront, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite having enjoyed previous stays at this hotel, my most recent visit was marred by an extremely disappointing check-in process and the unprofessional behavior of the front desk clerk, KIMBERLY.From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Kimberly had a rough demeanor and displayed a lack of courtesy. Her dismissive attitude and rude remarks made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. Although I initially brushed it off, assuming she might have been having a bad day, the unpleasantness persisted throughout our interaction. Moreover, when I requested an additional room key, Kimberly's response was both unhelpful and condescending. She seemed to disregard basic customer service etiquette and lacked the professionalism one would expect in the hospitality industry. As someone who works in customer service myself, I was appalled by her unapologetic behavior and her refusal to acknowledge the impact of her tone of voice.I believe that a hotel's front desk clerks are the face of the establishment and play a crucial role in shaping guests' experiences. Unfortunately, Kimberly's conduct left a lasting negative impression on my stay. As a result, I now find myself hesitant to consider future stays at this hotel and hesitant to recommend it to others, despite having done so in the past.In conclusion, my recent stay at Vagabond Inn Executive San Francisco Airport Bayfront was marred by an uninviting check-in experience and the rude treatment I received from Kimberly at the front desk. The lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by this staff member overshadowed any positive aspects of the hotel, leaving me deeply disappointed. I hope that the management takes my feedback seriously and takes appropriate measures to improve the quality of service provided by their staff. I would never hire an employee like her at my establishment.
