“My cat was dying. He was in terrible shape and I had spent thousands trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Called Dr. Metzger for home euthanasia. He perks up two minutes before she arrives so we change to quality of life appt instead. She gives me what I need to make him better. We change his food. This cat is thriving. She won’t be our vet because she specializes on in home euthanasia. She refers me to Dr. Ten at Camino Real Vet. We’ve been without a vet for some time after being with our vet for over a decade. I’ve had the hardest time finding a new vet. So when she suggested Dr. Ten that was it for me.

Called them and they were so kind and accommodating. Meet Dr. Ten when Vito had some lumps, one started bleeding.

Dr. Ten was amazing in our visit. I immediately felt comfortable with her and grateful for the referral.

I really love businesses that are run well, efficient, proactive, innovative. I’m rarely surprised.

This Veterinary is all of these things. They correspond via text. So easy. They have a back door to receive patients that can be challenging like my dog Vito. He doesn’t like going to the vet and he’s very vocal about it.

They have a second service area that accommodates pets like mine which is amazing. Not all vet visits are check ups and I felt terrible with my dog barking and carrying on. It had to be stressful for the other pets visiting and the staff. But they already knew that and had a solution.

In addition they provided sedatives for his visits so he’s so much calmer. They made suggestions to help him visit without the anxiety.

And they could’ve taken advantage but they didn’t. They gave us a quote for his surgery. They asked if we wanted to remove the other lumps. We said yes and I referenced one on his neck and near his eye.

They ended up removing five lumps and they charged us just under the low quote for which we were extremely grateful. They had found two more. I see my dog every day and forgot about the second one on his neck and didn’t realize there was another one on the other side of his peepee.

Their vet techs are kind, professional, articulate and serious about their jobs. Everything was explained in detail, they called the next day to make sure he was ok. Scheduling is super easy. Front desk does a great job. They have a very well built process and it shows. I really love this Veterinary from Dr. Ten to Dr. G to all of the staff.

“Definitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. “My dog was seen in Santa Cruz for an emergent issue and needed to be evaluated for a complicated surgery that no one in Santa Cruz does. He was referred to UC Davis. We could not get in there for at least 2 months. My dog really needed to be seen urgently. Sage in Redwood City got him in on monday (when I called friday). He is now being worked up and is getting exceptional care. We are so thankful someone referred us to SAGE in RW City.”

“Dr. J and the staff at St. Francis are fantastic. The staff are professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They take the time to listen, answer questions, and provide excellent support throughout the visit. The clinic itself is clean, spacious, and easy to access, with plenty of convenient parking available. I also appreciated the TV in the lobby, which helps make the wait time more comfortable before being called into an exam room. Although we've never had to wait very long for my appointments!

One minor suggestion would be to mute the TV volume and consider showing more family-friendly programming, as it would create a more welcoming environment for all visitors. Overall, it is a wonderful clinic, and I highly recommend their services!

UPDATE: I recently dropped off my kitty for a dental cleaning and was pleasantly surprised by the family-friendly shows playing in the waiting area, complete with closed captions! There were cartoons for the little ones and cooking and travel shows for the bigger kids. Thank you!

The front desk and back-office staff are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I never feel rushed during my visits, and everyone takes the time to answer questions and make sure I’m comfortable.

Dr. J is fantastic. He’s an excellent communicator who explains everything clearly and puts things into perspective in a way that eliminates any doubt or anxiety about what’s happening with my cats and what the next steps will be. I always leave feeling informed and confident that my pets are receiving the best care.

Update: teeth cleaning for Graycie went uneventful - as it should be! And a shout out to the fantastic front desk staff and back office technicians. All are incredibly friendly and a genuinely have a heart for pets. 😻🐶”

“New patient, switched from Sunnyvale vet. Major win for my reactive/nervous dog. Dr. Hedges and Victoria were incredible. They went slowly, followed my dog’s lead and were able to give her 2 vaccines. This is groundbreaking as in the past she’s had to be fully sedated to get vet work done. Her major issue is with restraint. Dr. Hedges and Victoria worked with me to give her the vaccines with zero restraint and made it a very positive experience. I highly recommend these caregivers to anyone! Village Square is also NOT owned by private equity, like many vets these days sadly, so their prices are very fair and they do not try to push unnecessary things on you for more profit.”

“We had such a nice experience here the other day! After another vet's office canceled on me that morning, this hospital was able to fit us in just one hour later. I brought a semi-stray cat and Dr. Erica was so warm, understanding, and informative. I think the price was very good, too--for a diagnosis and all of her vaccines. I do appreciate all that they did, but I just got a notice in mail that I had to pay the postage on the print, after spending over $12000 dollars. Albeit its only 6.00 dollars,but really! “This place is a bit of a drive for me, but I decided to have my senior cat's teeth extracted here instead of at her regular vet for cost reasons. I was nervous, but the economy being what it is I decided to trust the good reviews, and was so glad for it! Dr Choi and his staff were very gentle and professional; they handled her very well and answered all my questions. The post-op instructions were very clear; my cat recovered well and has a lot more energy now! They have even answered follow-up questions over email months afterwards. I didn't even get that much communication when I got my wisdom teeth pulled out, lol. I recommend them!”
